There is no need to fix this fight. The skill and knowledge level is so vast. Mayweather is a PhD in boxing. Logan Paul is at elementary level in boxing. Barring some freak punch from Logan, it will be any easy win for Mayweather. How is a fight like this even allowed?

Mayweather has played in organized pickup basketball games. So imagine Mayweather as the starting guard in the NBA playoffs. It would get ugly real fast for Mayweather. It will be the same for Logan Paul when Paul fights a top level pro boxer.

And I'm rooting for Logan Paul.

I agree, I just expect Mayweather to have it locked down.

Paul is a legit athlete. Mayweather is old and little and has done nothing but slap and run for a decade. The only part that surprised me was Paul not gassing out after a few rounds. Him aggressively clinching ( while ugly) was the right move.

If I was his head trainer I would have hired John Ruiz as an assistant trainer to teach Paul that mauling style that he employed when he was in too tight with Mayweather.

While this fight was an exhibition there was little mercy from Mayweather as he tried to use forearms to the throat and punch off the break and was going for the knockout. I thought the fight would play out similar to the McGregor fight, but the size gap was too much for the huge skill difference between the two boxers.

I remember there was a dormant poster who called Mayweather a weasel, I woud say that's a compliment and put down at the same time. Like the weasel Floyd is sly in his manipulation of the buying public, but he's also extremely cautious and shrewd in the ring.

Where these carnival fights go from here is a mystery to me, the younger Paul is taking on another MMA fighter in Woodley but Woodley has a better boxing skill set than Askram and the size gap while close to a division isn't the 3 division gap we saw last night. I know this if the younger Paul wins he has multi fight deal and the weasel will probably fight him down the line. I suspect the fight will have to be real fight for the public to buy into carnival show and pay the weasel and the younger Paul the purses they would want.

Weasel always was insecure. For much of his real fights were in Los Vegas and he needed the same judges fight after fight to secure his "wins".

This Inoue who the boxing world calls the Monster lives up to the hype. It's incredible a guy at 118 lbs can hit as hard as he can. He is also an all-around fighter. He was taken to deep waters by a resurgent DoNoire. But his youth and power were able to fend off Donito in an epic fight last year. I will be watching his fight this weekend!

This weekend has too many fights to keep track of and that is after Lopez vs Kambosos was delayed due to Lopez testing positive for Covid. I will probably be watching the Monster fight live but I will be channel hopping and jumping from broadcast to broadcast of the various boxing cards, plus the NHL playoffs and the NBA playoffs(It will feel like I'm at a Vegas strip sportsbook).

I don't think any White contenders that aren't big dogs are fighting this weekend, but blue chip prospect Bektemir Melikuziev is fighting junk yard dog Gabriel Rosado and he should tee off and bust up Rosado who while is always in a action fight is usually taking more than he gives and is true gatekeeper type at this point of his career.

Note Chavez Jr is fighting Anderson Silva in another carnival fight, but unlike the Weasel's fight this will be a sanctioned match, I will avoid this fight but I may watch a highlight on Youtube if I can find it.

Wow! Rosado racked up a KO of the year. Dropped earlier in the fight, kept his composure, then nailed the Russian with a right hook he did not see coming. Wow. He has Roach as his main trainer. Hopefully, he will land a big fight at 160 lbs, even tho he fought this at 168 lbs.

Chavez Jr has been a clown since he lost against Martinez. A fight he almost won in the last rounds. No discpline, just a spoiled brat.

Nakatani is no joke. Many people feel he beat Teo when they fought. Now Loma will be facing an even better version of the Nakatani than the one who went toe to toe with Teo. Loma says he had a shoulder injury in his fight his fight with Teo.

My eyes will be on the Loma v Masayoshi fight. Loma v Lopez was so close. Especially with the bum shoulder on Loma. If Loma dominates look for a rematch.

Barring any injury, I expect Loma to take 2-3 rounds to warm his body up to full elasticity, and use that period to gauge Nakatani's speed, angles, rhythm, and reactions before moving inside Nakatani's gangly arms and pumping his piston-fast punches to Nakatani's head and body. Inside Nakatani's reach, Loma is completely shelted from shots and will work his will. But Nakatani is tough and made of bushido pride and will not be stopped easily. Loma by very late TKO or UD12.
