Derek Carr has been mentioned as well as he reportedly wants to come out of retirement. He would be the best of the names tossed around so far to be McCarthy's backup other than possibly Cousins. I can't see O'Connell tossing away J. J. to be the "quarterback whisperer" to Smiff or Murray. He's smarter than that.

I don't think we can give anyone the benefit of the doubt anymore after seeing the downfall of the "Genius" ;)
 
Starting Center Ryan Kelly retires. The rumors swirling around the Vikings organization leading into free agency aren't great. The media of course is hellbent on pushing the narrative that the Vikings should give up McCarthy. Manlet, Smiff, Richardson have all of course been floated as "upgrades" and potential replacements (Cousins would make the most sense as a stop gap QB and one to help bring McCarthy along) The three mentioned blacks are cantankerous at best. O'Connell is walking a fine line between actual QB development and just becoming another caste cuck head coach.

The black QB starter push hasn’t stopped, despite last year’s epic failure. They are just shuffling some of these turds from team to team.

You’ve got PHI, DAL, WSH, CAR, ATL, CHI, GB, MIA, TEN, HOU, BALT all definitely starting blacks. Then NYJ, CLE, AZ, KC and MIN are all a strong possibility. So damn near half again, with the drunks and cucks telling us over and over what a meritocracy sports are.

McCarthy is more talented than the manlet. The NFL obviously has no intention of being an actual competitive league, it's become just sports entertainment in the same vein pro wrestling is. It's curated and designed to push agendas, attract the largest segment of the population and push storylines rather than focus on actual talent and ability. Goodell is the ring leader of the clown show. Curious to see what happens with the draft. I'll allow myself a modicum of delusion as it pertains to the draft this year with it being a better QB draft than the predictable narrative that it's a weak class being pushed because all the QBs are White. Last year the White QB certainly fought back and ruined the "year of the black QB".

It's hard not to be blackpilled at this point.
 
Weenieworld is as kneejerk anti-White and predictable as ever, believing Kyler Murray, after seven seasons of failing with Arizona, will beat out J. J. McCarthy in "runaway fashion."

ProFootballTalk’s Mike Florio said after a discussion with Vikings HC Kevin O’Connell that the team is “unlikely” to name a QB1 before the start of training camp. The battle for QB1 will be between Kyler Murray and J.J. McCarthy, with Florio believing the competition between the two will “commence during preseason practices and games.” This doesn’t come as much of a surprise, but it lays to rest any assumptions that Murray will walk in as the unquestioned starter before camp. While we would expect Murray to ultimately win the job in runaway fashion, it sounds like McCarthy will be given every chance to prove he’s still the man for the job and a player worthy of the No. 10 overall pick the team used on him in 2024.
