Im shocked the Twolves have not been called racist yet. If they keep playing these white guys like they been doing its just a matter of time before the R word starts getting thrown out there.

Liverlips, the Timberwolves have started four whites for most of the year. Their current starting whites are Ricky Rubio, Luke Ridnour, Kevin Love, and Nikola Pekovic. They have three white bench players in JJ Barea, Darko Milicic, and Brad Miller. So, the Timberwolves are 50% white with 7 out of 14 players! :D

Great news - thanks very much.

I'm watching the Twolves vs the Clippers. Kevin Love is having another monster game so far. He has 18 points and 9 rebounds late in the 2nd quarter. This is coming off his last game with 42 points. He might be on his way to doing it again. The Clippers are double teaming him constantly but he is just that good. Inside or outside, Love is the man!

Another monster night for Love. He had 39 points and 17 rebounds in the Twolves win! It doesn't get much better than that. So I ask, why he is not considered more in the Nba MVP Talk? He has taken a team that was the worst in the NBA to a playoff contender. If he isn't such a great player, Minnesota would be at least 10 games under 500! No doubt that he is more valuable to his team than Lebron, D.Wade or possible even Kobe. He does it on both ends of the floor. I would love to see him win some future MVP awards as the team continues to improve. It was good to see Darko get some quality minutes tonight as Pekovic was out with a minor injury. Milicic played good.

I think Kevin'll get some votes for MVP, but as long as the team is pinned to .500, he won't win.WTF is going on with Ricky Rubio? He's pretty much shot his way out of the Rookie of the Year award. In the past 15 games, he's shooting 30% from the field. In his last 6 games, he's gone 2-7, 1-8, 1-8, 3-7, 1-8, and 1-7 for a 20 FG%.This is his 8th professional season. He should be a better shooter by now. I hope this isn't all we'll be getting throughout his career.

My buddy (a former DWF) had raving compliments for KLove (yo). It's awesome seeing Love tear it up like he's doing. It'd be so sweet if he (rightfully) lands the MVP.

Pekovic is built like an Olympic Weighlifter. He is a a powerhouse on and off the court. The Timberwolves are very lucky to continue their winning ways with him being out with a minor injury. Darko just isn't consitant and he probably never will be. He dosn't have the skill set, strength or ability to dominate in the paint that Pekovic has. They don't need to trade for Gasol. Pekovic needs to remain in the starting linuep. He is that good.

The T-Wolves are now tied for 8th and the final playoff spot. :) The Wolves can do some damage in the playoffs if they stay healthy and Rubio finds his shot.

It looks like Ricky Rubio may have suffered a serious injury last night courtesy of Kobe Bryant. (how many white players has he taken out in his career?)
If Rubio is out, the T'Wolves run for the playoffs will run out.

Very sad. I think they would have made a dent in this years playoffs provided they made it in, which I am sure they still probably will. But next year I expect big things from them provided they keep the Love, Rubio and Pekovic core.

It's a torn ACL for Rubio. Very sad and a tough break for MIN. I was planning on tuning in and watching the NBA playoffs specificially for the T-Wolves, but now they're probably out of it.

I thought this is interesting. Kevin Love has better athleticism than Amare Stoudemire. A DWF comes to Stoudemires rescue on some message board.

Yeah, Kevin Love is really unathletic.

You are beyond stupid if you think love is anywhere near amare's level of athleticism pertaining to basketball. Too many retards that only trust numbers instead of their eyes on this site.

Kevin Love is having a MONSTER game against OKC

50 points and 14 rebounds at the end of the first OT

all tied up, 129-129

He's the first 50 point scorer in Timberwolve history, not even "the big ticket" could manage that

Kevin Love is beyond incredible. Everytime I think I've seen it all, he out does himself again. He is as good as Kobe, Lebron and Durant in my honest opinion and he does it on a team will defenses are built to stop him. Any oposing coach knows if you slow him down, usually the Twolves lose as they have so many young players that don't have the right chemisty yet although they are close. For him to score 51 points and totally overshadow Durant is another step in the right direction. He is a top 5 player now and no one can deny it. I have said it for a long time now but he will gain everyones respect. What a monster game for anyone. Love is the best power forward in the Nba by a landslide!

One more thought on Kevin Loves incredible 51 point game tonight. In the last 20 years or so, only Dirk Nowitzki and Tom Chambers have put up over 50 if my memory is right for white nba players. I know Tom Chambers had a 56 point and a 60 point game in the same season. He was incredible but could never shoot the three as good as Love or come close to the rebounding numbers. Even Bird or Nowitzki would struggle to compare with the scoring/rebounding numbers although Bird was a better assist man. I just hope people can really appreciate what type of play Kevin Love is. A very rare and at best once in a decade if not longer player. What a performance!

Just another day at the office for Mr. Kevin Love. He scored 30 points while pulling down an incredible 21 rebounds. I also have to mention Luke Ridnour who scored 25 points to go with 8 assists! Nice to see the Timberwolves get back on the winning track. It is going to be very hard to make the playoffs without Ricky Rubio but I haven't given up hope yet! Man oh man is Kevin Love a superstar!:first:
