It takes a lot to lower the collective intelligence of morning television, but Michael Strahan actually has that kind of ability. Simply pitiful.

I'm assuming this morning show is an upgrade from his FOX gig, but I don't watch most of the crap on TV, so I don't know.

But if it is, it's no surprise that Strahan has been rewarded with this new high profile job, since he's been playing his role as the non-threatening, friendly negro very well for the past few years. It's the image the CM vermin want to put out there for the dumbed down masses, and I believe OJ Simpson did his part in this area for some years also. Add all the stuff that Awake in America mentions above, and this is as good as it gets, so many agendas wrapped into one.

Nice post, Awake in America, very humorous and true. From what I remember, this inane “show” was formerly hosted by the ever-perverted Jewess, Kathy Lee Gifford, and the apolitical Regis Philbin (who never struck me as a bad guy).

I’m certain that Strahan’s bumbling, leviathan-like presence, particularly when contrasted against the frail, skeletal, pint-sized, emaciated, skull-faced, fake-blonde, Kelly “Leatherface” Ripa, was a duteous choice by producers...made specifically to further the “King Kong” Hollywood typecast…

For what it’s worth, I found Strahan to be the least-Casteon when compared to his co-hosts on Fox NFL Sunday, as Terry Bradshaw (who gives Warren Sapp a run for his money in terms of linguistic woe), Jimmy Johnson, and Howie Long are insufferable jock-sniffers.

You're right, it is ironic that Strahan is probably less Casteon than his co-hosts. I find all of them to be unwatchable. Yes, the double entendres will all be about how "big" Strahan is. Although Regis might have been the original metrosexual, at least he was a straight, white male. Oh, and Ripa's husband was born in Spain, but he's at least as much Mestizo as he is Med. I don't know if Kathy Lee Epstein is Jewish enough for them to claim her, but they are welcome to!

I thought this board was to bring awareness toward stereotypes of white athletes. Clearly this is not the case and it is sad man. It seems to me that you are strong racial conservative who simply dislikes the behavior of homosexuals. That is fine but it distracts from legitimate issues facing white athletes.

It's just a thread ripping on Strahan dude, don't get all upset about it. I know it's unheard of for any sports forum to criticize black athletes for anything other then their athletic issues but we're breaking new ground here. Not only sticking up for White athletes but expressing verboten views about homosexuality, interracial relationships, and other TABOO topics. Some people feel that way, so what's the problem?

Proof he's an affirmative action hire? Because there's a plethora of much more articulate, entertaining potential co-hosts out there. I'm no fan of Regis Philban & (have only seen him on "Who Wants to be a Millionaire"), but "G@yhan" doesn't have 1/10th the charisma and stage presense of Philban.
