Quick, someone call Pierre Carraz and let him know there’s a new white phenom who needs his programming of 95lb back squats and 20lb dumbbell lunges (10lb in each hand) to take his skills to the next level.

(Yeah, yeah, I know nothing of sprint, etc)
Haha, a blast from the past! RCSMAN must have fully melted down and given up on us!

So far for under 10 legally we have Christophe Lemaitre, Ramil Guliyev, Filoppo Tortu and Adam Gemeli. So many guys on the verge even recently. Julian Reus 10.01, John Teeters 10.00,
Richard Kilty 10.01 and a few others. In the next decade I seeing it becoming alot more common with whites and asians. People of all colors can sprint if they have great genetics
and work very hard with the right coaching. The being said blacks, whites and asians are the fastest. Hispanics and Indians not so much.

Thanks for the reply WL! Wanted to be as factual as possible before responding to a troll .

I see Tortu (pb 9.99) and Erasmus (pb 10.01) as turning in sub 10s this coming season. Guliyev (pb 9.97) seems to focus more on the 200.

Am happy "le troll" RCSMN is no longer policing the site.

Regardless of conditions ...his legs still have to turnover at 9.9 speed ....and the fact he is 18 .....his coach deserves a lot of credit for being color blind and seeing the talent boiling has ....mind this guy especially when he goes to college ...,although I reckon will be a good fit ...( ..note ...American gdpr regulations means access to verifiable news / information has become a little bit more difficult for any body in the E.u at present )

And his closing speed means he has series 200 speed ,,which for me shows enormous potential for a 100/200 double up in the future ....still floats like Morrow ...and very relaxed post race ....yep all the great pre requisites for a great one . .....reckon Clyde hart at Baylor would be a really good fit ...doesn't have to leave Texas .....although as said Georgia is a good fit for white track athlete because of its longstanding white decathlete connections .

How's Austin Kranz doing in Arizona ????

I know he signed with ASU but I as far as I know he didn't run this year. I'm guessing his first year will be next season. He is
going to be fun to watch. He made a good choice as Clemson and Nebraska doesn't have as good weather to train for your optimum
performance. Hope he can excel in the pac 12 like he did in high school back in california.

Be on a caste alert. In a recent interview, Boiling alluded to the 400 and the 200 might be his best events at Georgia. He made these comments in a recent interview with Texas one on one track. I hope he and Georgia are re-thinking this after his 9.98. His 100 times are more impressive than his 400 0r 200.

Boiling will be a very good 200 meter guy, but I think he can be just as dominant in the 100 maybe in the 400, similar to VanNeikirk

I will throw up if he gives up the 100. The idea of it just makes me sick to my stomach. Matthew Boling was born to sprint. That is sprinting the 100 & 200 meters. Gives up the other events and
we will see him in the olympics someday. He is a natural born 100/200 meter sprinter! No exceptions allowed!!

I cant see a 18 year old who just ran a sub 10 100 meter (wind or not) give it up...if so, that would be very idiotic. I am hoping the Georgia coaches know what they are doing.

Matt is showing some serious speed endurance last weekend running a 20.44 over 200 meters. He is flying around that track!

Firstly .thanks jacknyc ...re Austin Kranz , hope he comes back healthy ,,because this guy gphas also got a huge upside. And I concur with white lightning ,, if boiling goes down the 200/400 only route , I will puke ! ......coaches have understand , 100 first , 200 second ...all his Lj training correlates to power / speed / strength ....,I really feel he is not suited to the 400 at all !!!! ......note ramil guliyev sometimes trains like a 400 sprinter but ,,,,has way less volume and this is a key for top end 200 sprinters . ...I have a positive feeling though that his present coach understands boiling 100 / Lj ability , and my feeling is because boiling is already showing enormous strides ( excuse the pun ) He , that being Matthew boling ! will be in charge of which distances he runs ,,,,and he already has a taste for the 100 ....and it's obvious only a misguided fool would tamper with what boiling feels confident doing ........it remind of when Greg Rutherford broke through as an l.j .....and was coerced in triplejumping , which nearly " killed " him ....but new coach and his own steely mindedness made him stay with the l.j ....and the rest is history .....some thing which boiling will make plenty of ...ie history !
