UConn up 11 on Arkansas right now. UConn isn't that bad a team at all for us. All 3 of their whites were on the court at the same time just now. Calceterra just hit a 3 and Clingan has two slams in the first half, one of which was a sweet alley oop in transition.

yes, the White gym rats have “somehow” been able to dominate the “real affletes” from the SEC in the early going.

i’ve been big on Clingan since before the conference portion of the season began this year. he’s got a BRILLIANT future.

at halftime, the 3 White athletes for UConn (two of whom are freshmen) are a combined 6 for 7 from the floor for a total of 13 points, 7 rebounds, 2 steals, 1 blocked shot, and ZERO turnovers. “may we have more playing time, please?”

for Michigan State, Joey Hauser is (once again) the game’s high scorer (18 points) as of this posting. he’s done so whilst only attempting 9 shots. three of the four other starters have shot more times than he, however. perhaps he should have more plays run for him?

I saw that play and couldn’t believe the call……..was in a bar with no sound. Did the talking heads even comment on the absurd call?
That call was awful.

In the Michigan State game, it sure looked like a foul when the midget black point guard on K State stripped the ball from the Spartan player going up for the three at the end. But we know blacks are allowed to hack constantly on defense.

Drew Timme is putting on an absolute clinic early in the first half against UCLA!

he’s got 15 of Gonzaga’s 19 points (on 7-10 shooting). he’s been simply unguardable thus far.

Mick Cronin, UCLA’s head coach, just said (his big black center) was tired from trying to guard Timme. there was still nearly 12 minutes left in the first half at the time of the comment. LOL

the only thing that can stop Timme from scoring are his teammates. jeez! when they’re not freezing him out, they’re turning the ball over.

on the other side of things, Jacquez is dismantling the Zags defense. dude is terrific!

WOW!!! what a move by Timme! he’s got a game-high 29 points (on 14-20 shooting) and a game-high 9 rebounds. 14 minutes still to go in the game.

Jacquez has team-highs for UCLA in scoring and rebounding.

dude, what a dumbass pass by Gonzaga’s Julian Stawther. with no pressure on him after crossing the midcourt stripe, he simply threw the ball to a trailing teammate in the backcourt. I-D10-T.

that’s the kind of boneheaded turnover that happens in junior high. but the Zags backcourt have been terrific at turning the ball over tonight.

if Gonzaga goes on to win this game, this performance by Timme will be the stuff of legend.

whoa! Timme misses two free throws, and UCLA comes down and hits a quick three. Zags down by one with 12 seconds left in the game ...

Zags survive on a three-pointer from the center court logo. CRAZY game.

Timme was unstoppable: game-highs of 36 points (16-24 shooting), 13 rebounds, and 2 blocks. he also had a team-high 4 assists.

Jacquez was awesome, as well: team-highs of 29 points (12-25 shooting) and 11 rebounds.

Awesome game from Timme in this barn-burner. Gotta make those free throws though! 36-13-4 but his teammate got the first interview.

This game should not have been that way. Gonzaga seemed to be pulling away and then they just went flat. Anyways, a win is
a win. Drew Timme with 36 points and 13 rebounds. A man among boys. So glad they won and I don't care how they did it!

Man I missed a good one! All the experts were predicting UCLA would give Timme problems with their length and athleticism. Ya that didn’t hold up!

It was too obvious to ignore but they didn’t say much you could tell they were trying to think of how to sound diplomatic but all you heard was crickets

The game was totally crazy in the final minute or so and the green court awareness of the Zags guards showed with errant throws and even the winning shot wasn't an ideal shot with so much time left as it was on the edge of the logo. Leading up to the crazy late game charge by the Bruins the production crew showed 3 classic endings with these teams over the years in the tournament and now we can add a 4th.

Princeton starts more of our guys and is the bigger underdog story. Hard to cheer against them. That being said, Creighton is a LOT bigger and more likely to advance. i’m just hoping for outstanding performances from our guys.

happy to see Bama fall; sad to see so few White players left in the Tourney.

This game has a great flow compared to the previous matchup. That Bama vs San Diego State game was about as ugly as it can get offensively.
