Gonzaga is looking unstoppable. They should win the whole thing. They are playing with so much confidence and look totally relaxed.

Michigan goes down. They really didn't deserve to win it; they made alot of mistakes and played a mediocre game. UCLA played like they had nothing to lose and pulled it out.

Had Michigan won, they probably would have lost to Gonzaga in the next round anyway, as UCLA likely will now. Still thinking Gonzaga will win it all.

Michigan couldn’t throw it in the ocean, especially my guy Wagner (1-10, ouch!) but threw the ball away a LOT. that combination will get you beat against good teams, and UCLA took advantage. their one guy Juzhang (sp?) was on fire, and they kept giving him the ball. he ended with over half their points for the game, and Michigan didn’t make an adjustment that worked on him.

Gonzaga looks to be in a class of their own. they’ve won with defense, with three-point shooting, with transition offense, with low post offense, and with a combination. last night they were on cruise control (up by 24 when they took their foot off the gas), even with their leading scorer Kispert shooting very poorly. unless the wheels fall off, they should be cutting down the nets for the whole shebang.

Was going to comment on how Franz's off night likely cost Michigan this game! Oh well still a stellar season. We'll see if @DWF Upside prediction comes true. Seems like Howard has plans in place to go a more affletic route in the future.

Hats off to UCLA and Mick Cronin(as much as that pains me to say) They've had an All Time Great run to The Final Four.

Michigan played like crap and lost a squeaker. They missed countless layups and demonstrated no outside range. Only Austin Davis seemed to play well off the bench.

Franz Wagner is maddening when he disappears in the occasional game like this one. He finished 1/10 on the night and missed two potential game winners (Michigan missed their last 8 shots). He did have one incredible display of defensive prowess as he faced up the UCLA ballhandler on a transition drive and swatted his layup out of a euro-step. Michigan has played unselfish team ball all year, which ironically has hurt Wagner's killer instinct and confidence to take over games. He has an NBA role immediately for his defense alone, and he always fills up the rest of the stat sheet, but I wish he could create points for himself more consistently.

This will be the last white-friendly game for Michigan for a long time. Dickinson will likely return next year (he has plenty to work on) and will likely be a feature in the offense. But if Franz departs as expected, the only other white player will be incoming freshman big Will Tschetter, who may be a fine player but is not projected to get off the bench for a couple of years.

I agree that it seems like a trivial loss with the Gonzaga buzzsaw up next in the bracket. Timme put on a clinic last night, and the whole team runs with a high motor. Hopefully they can stay the course against Baylor in the final.

Thrilling buzzer beater to win it In OT for Gonzaga! Timme had his usual 20+ and 5 boards!

Wow, what a nail biter! Thrilled the Zags pulled it out. Timme looked tremendous throughout the night, although I thought he got a little lucky to draw a charge at the regulation buzzer. Kispert was cold from deep, hoping it’s out of his system for the championship game.

Kispert wont go very far in the nba unless he ups his mentality.
Today was the first basketball I watched all year. First was 3/5 White starters for Dallas vs. 3/5 White starters for Washington, then the Gonzaga game.
You would never see 60%White starters in the deep state domestic nfl.

The finish of that game made this a classic. What a tight, well-played game. Unbelievable shot by Suggs at the end. Agree about Kispert. He made a few good shots in the second hald, and that driving dunk was outstanding, but he could have closed the game out in overtime had he made that last 3-pointer with under a minute to play. Had he made it, Suggs' last second heroics would have been unnecessary. But Kispert also made a big 3 down the stretch and had an offensive rebound and putback that was huge.

Timme played great again. I think he finished with 27, and at one point he had three straight buckets in overtime. UCLA played really tough, that was no easy game for the Zags. Monday night's matchup looks to be another close one as Baylor is for real also. Looking forward to it. Let's go Zags!

Timme won that game with his big time defense and scoring at the end of that game. I see a NBA starter in his future.

This season Kispert shot 89% from the free throw line and 45% from three point land. He'll probably turn it around in the championship game.

Agreed, Kispert will be alright! I've actually seen him and Wagner both mocked in the early Teens! Definitely an improvement compared to January when neither were going in the 1st rd. Let's hope that's an accurate projection..Id like to see Garza and Timme sneak into there as well!!

We've got to remember that not every White Player is a super hero. It's okay if they are not World Class aka Luka Doncic right away. We need depth, but I understand how it's easy to fall into caste systems standards. A White Player has to be above average to get a look.

Gonzaga SHOULD have their way with Baylor. Baylor has a great defense but they only have one post player that is over 6'8 with Mayer being the only other player that is taller and he's at Guard/Wing. Should be a field day for Timme.

*Also I'd say Suggs should be taken 1st overall. He looks to be the most well rounded player. Zags could have 4 or 5 1st rd picks! With hopefully Timme and Kispert representing us.

#1 high school prospect Chet Holmgren is about to commit to Gonzaga. What a great week this could be for Mark Few and for all of us

Stanford won the women’s NCAA Tournament Championship tonight, and they did so starting 3 White athletes as well as playing their top reserve starter’s minutes. they hung on in a nail biter over Arizona, and this came after knocking off all-black South Carolina in the Final Four, a game where all the “experts” picked them to lose to “the more affletic” team. Congratulations to them!

It would be awesome if Holmgren signed with the Zags. He was a HS teammate of Suggs, so at this point the chances of Chet committing to Gonzaga look pretty good.I

Can't wait for the big game tonight!! LET'S GO ZAGS!!!

Great result. And it sounds like none of the Cardinal athletes are of the male who identify as female variety. In this supremely warped age that is a bonus.

Horrible, absolutely horrible start for Gonzaga, this one might be over before it started.

Zags get it down to 10 at the half.......no way Baylor can shoot 3s like that in the second half.......

Baylor played the best half of their lives. Zags survived it. My biggest concern is Baylor is so big and dominating the boards. There’s no way Baylor hits all their threes in the second half.
