I'm wondering when the last white running back ran for more than 100 yards in an NFL game.
I thought Gruden would throw Alstott a bone or two to let get his milestone 5k yards. Yes I know the integrity of the game is worth more than individual accomplishments. But it's not like Alstott is a liability running in the right situations. Also Cadillac Williams seems to be running in neutral this season anway....Don Wassall said:In '03 Forsey got to start for a couple games and did very well. In '04 Brad Hoover was forced into "emergency action" and did quite well. Last year it was Heath Evans doing a solid job. All three were rewarded with instant demotions. Alstott had lots of excellent games running the ball until the onset of Gruden era.
But this year the well is as dry as can be. Evans has 58 rushing yards, Hoover has 21, Alstott 20 yards. Those are the three leading white running backs in the NFL in 2006. What a despicably anti-white enterprise college football and the NFL are.<!-- Message ''"" -->

Merril Hoge in 1989, in the playoffs
100 yards, 1 td on 17 carries against Houston 3 rec for 26 yards 1 td
120 yards, 1 td on 16 carries against Denver 8 rec for 60 yards 1 td
They lost against Denver by 1 point. 23-24, I think he might have scored Pittsburgh's only touchdowns of the game.
