The King of the Hill episode "Suite Smell of Excess" (season 12, episode 1) really shows the quirks and silliness of football DWFs. It also really hits home in showing how "conservatives" can toss their values aside in the name of supporting "their" team, with the normally ultra-levelheaded Hank acting like a nut. Ironically, the teams involved - Texas and Nebraska - were shown in the cartoon as much whiter than they really are.

I'd highly recommend watching the episode - it gets in jabs at so many of the annoying little things about modern football. "Everyone's a VIP at Alamo Field!" "Better make it a 20." The beer-sniffing. Peggy watching the game at home and destroying the TV when Texas unexpectedly loses while Luanne cowers in a corner - that had me ROFL

I'm a fan of the show though I have not seen that particular episode. Mike Judge is the creator and he's definitely "awake" to alot of what's wrong with modern society. He's also done Office Space, Idiocracy and Beavis & Butthead. All of which do a good job of illustrating different ills of modern, or future if we continue down the path we're on, society.

I recall seeing an episode of Beavis & Butthead (during the show's reboot a few years ago) where the 2 characters discover infowars.com and learn 9-11 was an inside job. I thought that was interesting and then more recently Mike Judge did an interview with Alex Jones. He's a compelling and smart guy and the interview (easy to find on youtube) was a good watch.

I’ve noticed plenty of noxious filth on “King of the Hill.”

1) The most obvious example is the featherhead (“John Redcorn”) who impregnated the wife of a white character (“Dale”). Dale unknowingly raises the kid (“Joseph”) as his son, which is a “joke” in nearly every episode. The featherhead is presented as handsome, noble, strong, tough, sexual, and mystical…while Dale is dumb, paranoid, schizophrenic, pathetic, and hasn’t had sex with his wife (“Nancy”) in years. The featherhead, John Redcorn, is constantly sneaking in and out of windows to have sex with Dale’s wife. The logical question is that if he’s so “tough,” why doesn’t he just claim the white whore for himself and beat Dale to a pulp?

nancyboys.png

2) Hank’s son, “Bobby,” is fat, short, small, unhealthy, out-of-shape, a putrid athlete, has exclusively-feminine hobbies, and is a borderline homosexual. The half-feather kid, Joseph, is always presented as a superior athlete to Bobby and (like his father compared to Dale), he’s bigger, stronger, and more masculine. There is an episode in which both boys join the football team and Joseph is amazing while Bobby quits like a p-ssy. Of course, he's constantly exploring his feminine side...

3) Aside from the white female / male featherhead pairing, Bobby dates a Laotian girl (“Connie”), and she, too, is better than him by every conceivable measure. She much smarter, tougher (she even beat him in a wrestling match), and generally treats him poorly. Of course, she also makes Bobby feel inferior in other ways...

maxresdefault.jpg

4) Speaking of Laotians, Hank’s neighbor, “Kahn,” is constantly out-witting and insulting Hank and exclusively refers to him and his friends as “Hillbillies” and “Rednecks.”

5) Hank’s wife, “Peggy,” is a fanatical Female Supremacist, constantly challenging everything he says and turning it in to some “gender war.” In addition to her constant hen-pecking, she also babies their son, Bobby, essentially raising him like a girl. Peggy is a hardcore liberal.

6) There is an episode in which Chris Rock does the voice of a black comedian telling anti-white jokes. He ruthlessly makes fun of Hank and takes Bobby (who doesn’t care that some *** is making fun of his dad) “under his wing.” From the script...

BOBBY: Yo, yo, yo, Bobby Hill is in the house, uh-huh! Would you look at all the white people standin' around, ain't got no butts! Y'all the no-butt-havin'-est people, uh-huh. And white people always be walkin' around like this, like they be crushin' diamonds or something. Look at me, I'm white!

BILL: White people do walk like that, especially in the army.

BOOMHAUER: Heh-heh, talkin' bout no butts, man... tell you why it's funny, man, 'cause it's dang ol' true.

BOBBY: So how come you're in Arlen? I mean, you're really good.

BUDDHA SACK: I got a little risque on Moesha a couple of years ago, and it's been hard for me ever since. Besides, TV's not where it's at, Bobby. It's just giving people the same old stereotypes, playing the same old stories. I don't want to do that. What I want to do is make people laugh and think, you know what I'm saying?

BOBBY: That's why you teach traffic school.

BUDDHA SACK: Yeah... that's why I teach traffic school.

BOBBY: Hey, I've been working on some new material. Check it out. "White people think the 'hood is something on their sweatshirts." And "How come the cops always be pullin' me over? What's up with that?"

BUDDHA SACK: Bobby, let me give you a little constructive criticism: You're not black.

BOBBY: Oh. Okay.

BOBBY: My dad says comedy isn't a real job.

BUDDHA SACK: Comedy ain't about listening to your dad. You think Shucky Ducky got where he is by listening to his dad?

HANK: You have no manners. It's obvious your mother didn't raise you right.

ASSISTANT: Uh-oh.

BUDDHA SACK: What's that? You talkin' about my mother? Let me tell you about your mother! Your mother is so fat, she jumped up in the air and got stuck!

HANK: What??

BUDDHA SACK: That's right, I said your mother is so fat, she free-bases ham!

HANK: First of all, my mother is not overweight. She weighs one hundred and twenty pounds, which is perfectly normal for a woman her age.

BUDDHA SACK: I said your mama is so fat, when she walks around in high heels, she strikes oil!

HANK: I don't think you've even met my mother. If you want to pick on someone, at least have the courage to pick on me.

BUDDHA SACK: Uh-huh, uh-huh: Your urethra is so narrow, the sperm be going through there single file! One two three four, sperm two three four!

PEGGY: Oh, honey, your roots are very rich. Your grandfather and his father and his father's father all were married, and bought houses, and had jobs, and had children.

BOBBY: You're so lucky, Connie, you're ethnic. Joseph and I are just nothing. We're just white and boring.

JOSEPH: Yeah.

7) There is an episode venerating featherheads that features some of the most vile “white guilt” dialog you’ll ever hear on TV…

BOBBY: Dad, you and your white people stole hundreds of thousands of acres from John Redcorn, and now you celebrate by frying a turkey? Whem does the killing end?

BILL: Hank, you're terrible.

HANK: I am not --

DALE: Just give him his land back, Hank.

HANK: You will not use that Frenchman's wave with me.

BOBBY: Thanks-taking is not a time for celebration. I refuse to carve your turkey. It is basted in the blood of the innocents!

PEGGY: Do not blame Bobby. I taught him to keep an open mind. Maybe I taught him too well.

JOHN REDCORN: I found this headdress lying around. I thought you might like it.

JOSEPH: Horns and a feather. Thanks.

BOBBY: I refuse to eat the white man's white meat!

HANK: This whole anti-Thanksgiving thing couldn't have come at a worse time.

PEGGY (describing "Spin the Choice"): Well, the game is pretty straightforward. You can choose to spin or you can choose to choose. If you choose to spin, you can land on spin, or choice, or lose a spin, or lose a choice, or free spin, or free choice, or spin again.
(John Redcorn arrives)

NANCY: I'll be right back.

PEGGY (to Luanne): She loves the game, but her ex-lover just showed up. Most players won't face such distractions.

JOHN REDCORN: To the white man, who steals our land and steals our sons.

DALE: To the white man!

BOBBY: My friend John Redcorn has taught me how important the history of his people is, especially on this day. And I am the only one who saw fit to prepare a feast that honors the Native American culture, not my land-grabbing ancestors. According to many expensive books I studied at the bookstore, the Anasazi tribe from this region celebrated their most festive occasions by eating the body of their enemies. Anthropologists have found the leftovers of these sacred meals: human bones with shiny patches, as if rubbed smooth against the walls of cooking-pots. So today we salute the Native American cannibal, or people-eater. In that spirit, I invite you to enjoy a Native American cannibal feast. Mr. Redcorn, this head's for you.

(Bobby offers a plate of chopped liver in the shape of a head)

JOSEPH (to John Redcorn): Oh, man! You eat people?

JOHN REDCORN: Joseph, don't listen to him. That was over seven hundred years ago!

JOSEPH: Get your hands off me, you cannibal freak!

DALE: So Joseph called you a cannibal. It's not like it's true. Is it?

JOHN REDCORN: Of course not. Any cultural anthropologist will tell you that the Anasazi tribe last practiced cannibalism over seven hundred years ago.

DALE (nervous): And you are affiliated with what tribe...?

JOHN REDCORN: Dale, I don't eat people! For God's sake, it would be like me accusing you of cannibalism, just because that nut in Michigan who boiled body parts in his stove was white. Or that disc jockey in Philadelphia who ate people in his basement. Also white.

DALE: Boy, you're sure up on cannibalism, John Redcorn. Well, look at the time...

JOHN REDCORN: It just makes me so angry!

DALE: You should know, I'm highly carcinogenic.

DALE: Now here's the plan: psst psst psst psst...

HANK: Dale, you're just going "psst psst psst."

DALE: Well, I've got nothing!

HANK: You called John Recorn a cannibal. That's one of the worst things you can call a person.

BOBBY: No, it's not. The New York Times says cannibalism is part of his cultural heritage, and you have to respect other people's culture. Who are we to judge?

HANK: I am not judging. I am stating a simple fact. It is wrong to eat human beings.

BOBBY: Says you.

HANK: Yes, and I'll say it again. It is wrong to eat another human being.

BOBBY: Oh, but it was right for the white man to throw blankets with smallpox onto the Indian reservations?

HANK: No, that was wrong too. But so is eating human beings. Bobby, I agree that stealing Indians' land was wrong. Can't you agree that it's wrong to eat another human being?

BOBBY: I guess.

JOHN REDCORN: I can't believe she left me for that.

HANK: She didn't leave you for that. She married that two years before she met you.

JOSEPH: I know you're not really a cannibal. My mom told me. She told me a lot of things.

JOHN REDCORN: Like what?

JOSEPH: How the white man stole your land and your heritage, and how it's time you got it back. And how we're all children of the earth, so in a weird way, we're related.

The show did have some funny moments and it wasn’t all bad. As far as Mike Judge, I’m not sure what kind of “conservative” mind would dream up so many anti-white, Marxist story lines…I suppose a “modern conservative,” someone who hopes to “conserve” the toxic ideals of today’s wretched world.

I've never been able to watch that show for the reason you gave in #1. The characterizations of white people are contemptible.

There's also another one that I thought provided a coupla' DWF-denigrating laughs.. It was about a former bench-warming Dallas Cowboy who had one bright moment in his pro career (he blocked a kick).. who moved into Hank's neighborhood.
Hank and his crew all drooled over their new neighbor & retired kick-blocker (Big Willie Lane), & allowed Lane to treat themselves all like garbage.. It kinda ridiculed the mentality of worshipping athletes, even the most obnoxious ones..

I've never really felt Judge has a political agenda; he's skilled at evenly depicting the everyday absurdities of life.. and doesn't provide the typical cover/apologia for the absurdities of Liberals (see his series- The Goode Family)

Sorry, you would have to be Hank Hill not to see Judge's agenda. King of the Hill is classic cultural marxism, convincing white people to laugh at themselves while trying to seem like you are on their side, denigrating our culture and race with a laugh. It's the modern version of All in the Family. Sure it's funny sometimes, how else could they sell it to gullible white sheeple?

I can't stand the show. It's cringe inducing, from the Dale characters embarrassing cuckolding to Hank Hill's absurd naivete, and the endless parade of pro minority pandering, noble indians, brilliant asians, and every white person portrayed as a loser. "Conservative" TV at it's best I guess.

Jax, I'm not gonna try and sell you on the show.. Humor is subjective. But I don't think the main protagonist (Hank) is depicted as a 'loser'. Ultimately I think Judge depicts Hank as an honest man & loving father (with harmless idiosyncrasies)..
Judge doesn't depict the Asian neighbor as uniquely noble either.. there have been a number of story lines where Khan is shown as a greedy, scheming, insecure elitist. I think Judge is pretty even-handed in showing the funny aspects of everyday life..

What is your standard for not being a White cultural Marxist (?) Zero self-effacing humor (?) The show was never presented as Conservative I don't think.

Like most "comedies" on TV, this one is largely gutter trash. I don't watch them.

I think this is closer to the broad reality of Mike Judge, than a politicized Judge..

Everything on tv is crasser than previous generations.. Mike Judge started with a Beavis & Butthead short that was about typical stupid, crass kids (Frog Baseball).. I don't think it was inaccurate, most teenaged kids are stupid & crass, but the barometer for decency had moved enough by the early-90s, for it to be on cable tv.. Now it would be ok for regular broadcast tv.. same with the stuff on 'King of the Hill'.. Story lines about open adultery, the episode where they used crack as bait.. a White pimp voiced by SnoppDogg/Lion.. most of that wouldn't have been okayed by censors back in the day bcuz it is base and deviant.. but I don't think Judge is pushing a cultural advocacy for those things; he's an equal opportunity satirist reflecting the stupid society we live in(?) The Indian character referenced earlier in the thread (Redcorn), is a grimy, barely-employed, home-wrecker.. who lives in a trailer. (not really the depiction of a noble minority). But someone else might know more about Judge's politics..

And I'm probably in the minority here, but I liked Beavis&Butthead, and K.O.T.H..

In the interview with Alex Jones, Judge says he was raised by Liberal parents in Austin, Texas but that he doesn't affiliate with either party.

I'll take your side on this one Average American, I liked the show. I'll also acknowledge that Thrashen and others raise some good points and that King of the Hill has had some cringe worthy moments. Judge is certainly no White Nationalist or race realist but I think he does do a good job of lampooning many absurdities in America.

Hank is the main character and whether Judge did so intentionally or not, he's the one most people relate to. A modern day Archie Bunker perhaps? You really feel for Hank as he's forced to deal with his henpecking wife, Peggy. The way they crafted her character, there is no possible way she was designed to be "likeable". She's a bitch.

Bobby is an obnoxious, whinny, faggotty loser. Hank is always trying to toughen him up and "set him straight" but to no avail. I'm sure there are many fathers in this country like Hank who's son is some limp-wrist who fails to follow in his father's image. This makes me always sympathize with Hank.

The other minor minority characters, like others mentioned, are flawed too. John Redcorn is a deadbeat, plan and simple. That seems to parallel reality when it comes to Natives in this country. Khan is an unlikeable, ******* neighbor. His use of "hillbilly" and "redneck" makes him look like a bigoted racist. Poor Hank that he has to live next to this jerk.

Annoying wife, limp-wristed son (son-in-law) and uppity minority neighbor. Hank Hill really is the new Archie Bunker.
