Jordy showed up making a brilliant play on the outside for a long gain. The one play they replayed on TV though did show him in a wrestling match on the line of scrimmage with a DB so perhaps Butler was right and some seasoning will do wonders for this soon to be great player. There being some very good competition at the Packer WR spot.

Jordy was blessed by the fact that james jones got hurt. The experts always say receiver is one of the hardest positions to come in as a rookie and make an impact. So far he has gotten more pt than i expected and is playing welll from what i've seen. Rodgers seems to be confident in him, matter of fact Rodgers seems confident in every one of his recievers!

They need to get him more involved, as he can catch, run, and is a big guy. If Driver and Jennings hadn't dropped a few critical passes, the Packers could have won.

Those drops sucked if a low caste player had made those it would be waiver wire city.

Jordy's hands look like gravity, the ball comes his way it is like in slow motion he reaches out and takes possesion of it like he owns footballs for all posterity. The other receivers are really good, but the difference with Jordy is his hands, I would hate to have to shake hands with him, with him mad at me.

Check this out!

Is the caste-media beginning to wake up?

What's this? A Pro-Jordy piece from ESPN???

ESPN-A Beatdown @ Lambeau
GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Tailback Ryan Grant turned the corner and was rumbling toward a mess of players near the goal line Sunday. The pile kept moving backward, and upon closer inspection there was a clear reason: Jordy Nelson, the Packers' rookie receiver, was driving Chicago cornerback Corey Graham backward with a block that would have made the great Packers lineman Jerry Kramer proud.

Graham wound up on his back at the 1-yard line -- a full 22 yards downfield from the line of scrimmage. If there was one visual that demonstrated how Green Bay overpowered the Bears in a 37-3 victory, it was the sight of a 217-pound receiver pancaking a cornerback known for his run support.[b/]

"Just part of our job as receivers," Nelson said afterward.

That was an awesome block i thought Grant got in!! Today Troy Aikman stated that Donald Driver thought Nelson had the kind of talent to be special. The same kind of talent he saw in Jennings when they drafted him!

The Pack is loaded with receiver talent. I give Thompson credit for this and more importantly not bringing in cancerous players like an Owens or an Ocho to destroy the team. Black or white these players come to play not display.

Honestly, the Packers really do have a good group a WR's. Jennings is one of the very few legit black #1 wideouts, Driver is pretty good, and James Jones is also good. The fact that Jordy (a rookie 2nd round white WR) is getting so much playing time is UNREAL in the caste NFL.

Jordy didnt even have to serve as an "apprentice" to some black has-been until he was 29-30 years old, or exclusively play special teams for years before breaking through.

Once again, I'm hoping for a Pats/Packers Superbowl to showcase our warriors nationally to the DWFs. Welker VS Nelson, Cassell VS Rodgers, and two all-white OL's....wow.

Don't forget the all-white O-lines. They both could use a good pass-catching starting white TE.

I thought they could have taken Greg Olsen instead of the always injured DT Harrel. But on Sunday I seen what I thought was Olsen giving Woodson an easy sack so I'm not sure Olsen is the complete package yet. As far as the O-line goes I'm sure I did not hear superstar Tommie Harris' number called that much. Edited by: wile

thats what i cant understand about the packers and the patriots, two white friendly teams that dont have good white tight ends. maybe if their current tight ends were were actually good i could understand

Patriots do have one, David Thomas, jut chose not to use him as much as their black TE... they also just signed Tyson DeVree to the active roster.

I'm hoping the Packers draft Sam McGuffie, Jake Sharp Brandon Wegher or Rex Burkhead down the road. If they actually get drafted by the NFL the Packers would be the perfect team to draft any of these guys. Ryan Grant has been struggling other than today and their blocking scheme fits an elusive scatback with great burst! Then the Packers would be my favorite team of my lifetime. I am starting to frown on the Giants and there racist lack of use of white players other than QBs, TEs and O-linemen. I think the Pack is my favorite team now!

Jordy Nelson With the Packers
He did pretty damn good for the amount of times he was on the field, and on most of those catches, hes not lined up against the other teams 3rd or 4th best cornerbacks, he seems to be lined up on the outside spots the most.

I originally had this up on my youtube, but it got taken down for some unknown reason although other pro players stay up. Google has merged with Youtube and i was able to use one of my really old gmail accounts to make a youtube page and reupload it

Nice vid Dwid. Jordy might be one of the few token white players that got drafted into a good team, one where he has ashot to show his talents. I feel he may have a good shot at overtaking James Jones as the number 3 wr, especially if Jones succumbs to injury again.

Donald Driver is missing the team's voluntary practices and is squawking about wanting a new contract. Driver is 34 and has taken a lot of hits. I've always liked the wayDriver plays, but let's hope he continues to substantially over-estimate his worth (as many NFL players are wont to do in the latter stages of their careers) and holds out and ends up being cut or traded, allowing Green Bay to speed up Nelson's develpment.

I've always thought Driver was a nice guy. He plays hard and has good YAC ability as well as great hands. I wanted to see him one more year in a Packer uniform. Still- it is annoying when these guys who are already paid so much, think they're worth more and hold out and skip mandatory team sessions.

At this point with driver 34 y.o-if he continues to hold out- it would be best for the Pack to trade him or- WCS- cut him. The Pack has too much young talent at WR to delay development much longer.

If Driver was gone- Jordy would move to starting Flanker and Jones would be in the slot. BCS- Ruvell Martin could be used as a hybrid TE/WR. This would leave as much as two to three openings for new WRs on the roster. Jamarko Simmons, Brett Swain and Kole Heckendorf would probably all make the roster and/or practice squad in this case.

I like Driver as well but for the sake of Jordy Nelson and his development, I hope Driver goes elsewhere. Maybe with the Vikings and a reunion with Favre when he signs with them. Everybody knows Favre is not done.

i think Nelson will have a solid season this year. Rodgers has a cannon of an arm and nelson has great hands, plus they have a year of working with eachother under their belts, look for them to become an effective quarterback-reciever tandem.Edited by: green fire317

I don't expect more than 700 receiving yards from Jordy though- if Donald Driver is there. I wouldn't mind seeing Driver in GB this year, but if he does stay- I hope it's his last year.
