@BeyondFedUp Purdy will most likely have to be a good boy backup unless Lance really stinks it up. Who knows though, maybe someone trades for him!

If Lance wins the starting job there is no justice left. Purdy won 11 games in a row! What more else can he do? His
numbers were amazing and he also had only 2 interceptions before the nfc championship game. We will see what
goes down next year but in the worst case scenario that Lance wins the starting job, I hope he is on a very short leash
and window of opportunity. Purdy is already proven, tried and tested!

Was listening to a hockey radio show here on the east coast and the hosts went off an a tangent about the NFL and the 49ers specifically. Both the hosts, who are very PC, questioned why anyone would think Lance is better than Purdy and on what merit could the 49ers move forward with Lance over Purdy.
It was very interesting to listen to 2 hosts who perpetually state that sports reward merit and the best players get the spot make this admission.
