We know that they hate Jimmer. They would be the powers that be. Why you ask? Not because he can't play! They hate the kid because like Tebow he is a good christian role model who kids would look up to. These people that run the world are out to destroy society as we know it from the top down. Take away morals and values and what happens to a country. It destroys itself. Jimmer needs to be very careful and make sure that he goes to the right team in the offseason. He has to go to one of the few teams that are both racially fair and will let him become the star he was in college. The treatment this kid has dealt with makes me sick to my stomach. Todays society has gone mad!

In my mind Jimmer was to NBA what Johnny Football is to the NFL. After McNamara, and J.J. Reddick got screwed I made my mind up I was done. Then Jimmer came along, and I said to myself "ok, if they screw THIS young man I really am done for good.

Ive stuck to it too. Even though the Wolves are playing lots of white guys I stiil dont watch the NBA anymore. Which sucks because I LOVE the sport of basketball.

I hate what has happened to these guys too but the NFL is no different. We might as well give up on sports all together outside of hockey, golf, swimming. I refuse to give up on sports I love. We have to fight to get these kids a fair chance. The NBA is slowly getting more white friendly. The last 5 years has seen an slight increase in the number of white players and also in guys that are stars on their teams. My hope is that Jimmer goes to a right team very soon. Even if he is not traded, he will be a free agent this summer. Cant wait to see him starting for some team and making an impact every night.


One last thing. Jimmer reminds me alot of Goran Dragic. If Dragic can score over 20 points a game like he is this season, I have no doubt that Jimmer could do the same thing on the right team. Whether he is a point guard or a shooting guard, Jimmer will not be denied when you give him consistant minutes on a team that believes in him. I can't wait to see him get his chance. The last three years have been horrible with the way he has been treated. He is way too good to be sitting on the bench and especially on a team that is horrible. The Kings always lose yet they act like Jimmer couldn't help them. Hope he lights them up down the road when he plays against Suckracmento! Haha.

How did JJ Reddick get screwed? He's a very good player who makes 6.75 million dollars a year and is averaging 15 points a game.

I think Wes is referring to the way Redick was screwed over earlier in his career. It took him a few years before he could become a full time starter, the same way David Lee was screwed over in his first few years in the league. Lee, as you may know, didn't become a full time starter for a couple of seasons. He had to sit behind the "real" athletes. A black player with Lees or Redicks credentials and talent would have been a starter from his rookie season.

Are you serious? If J.J. was black he would get more minutes, more money, and more credit. As dominate as the guy was in collage he should never had had to serve his racial apprenticeship on the bench for a few seasons.

I agree if reddick were black he'd probably be a perennial All star because he'd be given much more minutes

Sacramento working on a buy-out with Jimmer, which would make him a free agent. It looks like he will finally get out of that hell-hole.

Wow that is good news. I don't really follow the NBA much for obvious reasons but hopefully he can go to a team that will make him a starter and appreciate his talent.

Leonardfan, I didn't follow the NBA for over 20 years. I just recently started following again. There are many good reasons to watch now.

As i've reported on the NBA thread, aside from the QB position in the NFL, there are more whites as a percentage among the leaders in the NBA, scoring, rebounding, assists, etc., than there are in the NFL, currently.

*However, there are a lot of current white players injured.*

At one point this season there were 10 white scoring leaders among the top 50 and 10 white rebounders among the top 30. To my knowledge, there's maybe 1 RB among the top 50 rushers in the NFL and I don't think there's 10 white WR's among the top 30 WR's in the NFL and I think that goes for other stats such as, tackles, sacks etc. Only at the QB position do you see a dominant number of whites in the NFL and of course kickers and punters.

This is great news! Jimmer gets out of the s_pothole of Suckramento and goes to a team that actually starts two white players and will give him a shot to show his talents. Being a religious person he seems to have a good attitude and the ability to persevere in difficult times, like Tebow. No doubt his faith helped him persevere with the Kings despite the obvious discrimination he was subjected to, and he was even able to thrive when given the opportunity.

Jimmer played only 3 minutes in his Chicago debut, going 1-2, 2 points and 2 rebounds as the bulls blow out the Knicks. I would've liked to have seen him play a little more considering the way Chicago handled New York!

I agree, it seems the NBA is getting slightly more white friendly. There are 8 teams right now that have 4-5 or more white players and are worth following: Minnesota, Memphis, San Antonio, Houston, Phoenix, Milwaukee, Chicago, and the Lakers. That is probably better than it was the last few years.

So far it's been about the same treatment for Jimmer in Chicago as in Sacramento. He is getting around 2-3 minutes a game and only in garbage time. It's not as big of a deal though because they are a playoff team and he doesn't know the offense yet. I still would rather he leave Chicago and sign with a different team next year. I'm sure he will explore as many teams as possible as he should. It would be cool to see him playing for Phoenix along side Dragic but they already have some good guards so it probably won't happen. Minnesota would be perfect to me because JJ Barera is gone after this season. He could back up Rubio or Martin and get consistant minutes of around 20 or more a game.

as far as I know Jimmer has not been getting any minutes with the Bulls. :(
