Here's a topic where we can post on the Jewish influence in World football.
To summarize, Jews started to get more interested in Football after WWII when it became increasingly clear that a) there was serious money to be made in this sport... and... b) it was an excellent propaganda tool for globalization and multiculturalism.
Although I personally do not think they are the only reason things turned out so badly with our favorite sport (there are plenty of naive/uninformed or simply corrupt gentiles, just look at the FIFA or UEFA bosses), one cannot underestimate their influence in transforming the sport from a predominantly White, European (later South American), working class sport, strongly identitarian and radicated in local communities (as it was until the early 1980s) into the globalist/multiculturalist money grabbing nightmare it has become today.
As it often happens in sports, relevant Jewish players who actually play (or played) on the pitch are few and far between. When they do happen - as was the case with David Beckham and his alleged (and dubious) Jewish roots - the media cannot get enough of them. But Jews in football (as in other areas) are mostly "intermediaries" and "gatekeepers", a role they specialize in. Club owners, top officials of the various federations or "anti racism" organizations, "agents", authors, media types etc. In brief - trend-setters which (in large part) are steering this sport (and society at large) in the direction where it is going today.
Everybody knows about the clubs with (real or immagined) Jewish ties like Ajax Amsterdam, Tottenham or Austria Vienna, but we need more hard data and case studies, names, dates, numbers to quantify this phenomenon.
Here's a random assortment of names in (more or less) cronological order. This is an incomplete, informal list, which (I am sure) is destined to grow over time.

Early interest:
Bela Guttman - Football coach in the 50-60s, practically invented the character of the "big money coach" which today is omnipresent (Murinho, Guardiola etc.). Greatest success - leading Benfica to 2 European Champion titles (how CL was called then) in 1961 and 1962. When in Benfica, introduced the first Black superstar player in Europe - Eusebio.

Henry Kissinger - ex chairman of the NA soccer league and big promoter of European football in the US. I think he saw globalizing" potential in the game.
Steve Ross - Media type and CEO of the Time Warner company. Creator of the (now defunct) New York Cosmoss
Alan Rothenberg - Early (1990s) president of the professional soccer league, U.S. Soccer.

Robert Maxwell - Media type and criminal - in the 1980s owner of the Oxford United and Derby County, attempted (unsuccessfully) to buy Manchester United and Tottenham

I could be wrong but I think Johan Cruyff is of Jewish background. If so then he's the greatest Jewish player of all time.

Cruijff is not Jewish - according to Jewish sources, some of his relatives are married Jews but this doesn't make him Jewish. Beckam also is not Jewish. He has a Jewish grandfather and sometimes identifies as Jewish, so his Jewishness is dubious at best. IMO to be Jewish they have to have a Jewish mother (this is how Jews identify officially) or strongly identify as Jews (as some members of the Elkann family who now owns Juventus - there is a discussion about this in the Serie A thread).

Jews are certainly a considerable factor in today's immigration debacle. After what happened to them before and during WWII in Germany (that was then a homogeneous country, where the homogeneous German majority turned against them) they do not want homogeneous countries where they are a small minority. They want heterogeneous countries where various ethnicities/races/religions fight each other while they dominate - the classic divide and conquer strategy. Here's a lengthy article on their influence in shaping the immigration policies of the US until they managed to open the borders in 1965. I think it is similar in other western countries. The music changes when they talk about Israel, which - according to them - must stay a Jewish ethnostate, with very strict, ethnically based, immigration policies (a "Jewish state").

They are not the only factor, but definitely one of the most important ones, especially because of their huge media influence. The other factors are business owners (as you correctly note) that want cheap labor, lefty parties that see immigrants as their new voters, even churches that sees immigrants as potential new faithful. They all push in the sam direction - to facilitate and increase immigration. Jews at their dirty tricks again!

Croatia defender Josip Simunic will miss the World Cup after being banned for 10 matches by FIFA for shouting a fascist salute following his team's play-off victory over Iceland last month.

Croatia reached next year's tournament in Brazil by beating Iceland 2-0 on Tuesday. After the match, Josip Simunic took a microphone on the field and shouted to fans: ''For the homeland!'' The fans responded: ''Ready!''


World governing body FIFA on Monday confirmed Simunic's ban will start at the World Cup in Brazil, and also announced he will be banned from entering the stadium for any of the country's matches.

Simunic has also been ordered to pay a fine of 30,000 Swiss francs (€24,540).

The ban could signal the end of the 35-year-old's international career.

The incident came after Croatia's World Cup qualifying play-off against Iceland in Zagreb on November 19, a match Croatia won 2-0 in order to secure their place in Brazil.

The Dinamo Zagreb captain was captured on video using a microphone to lead chants which were found to have associations with Croatia's former pro-Nazi Ustase regime.




A FIFA statement said: "The committee took note that the player, together with the crowd, shouted a Croatian salute that was used during World War II by the fascist 'Ustase' movement.

"As a consequence, the committee agreed that this salute was discriminatory and offended the dignity of a group of persons concerning, inter alia, race, religion or origin, in a clear breach of article 58 par. 1a) of the FIFA disciplinary code.

"After taking into account all of the circumstances of the case, and particularly given the gravity of the incident, the committee decided to suspend the player for 10 official matches."

After disciplinary proceedings were opened against Simunic on November 22, a Dinamo statement denied any intent to make a political statement but confirmed that Simunic had used the phrase: "For the homeland". Croatian fans replied by shouting: "Ready".

The 35-year-old, who was born and grew up in Australia, also said at the time he was horrified to have been accused of discrimination.

Croatia defender Josip Simunic will miss the World Cup after being banned for 10 matches by FIFA for shouting a fascist salute following his team's play-off victory over Iceland last month.

Croatia reached next year's tournament in Brazil by beating Iceland 2-0 on Tuesday. After the match, Josip Simunic took a microphone on the field and shouted to fans: ''For the homeland!'' The fans responded: ''Ready!''


World governing body FIFA on Monday confirmed Simunic's ban will start at the World Cup in Brazil, and also announced he will be banned from entering the stadium for any of the country's matches.

Simunic has also been ordered to pay a fine of 30,000 Swiss francs (€24,540).

The ban could signal the end of the 35-year-old's international career.

The incident came after Croatia's World Cup qualifying play-off against Iceland in Zagreb on November 19, a match Croatia won 2-0 in order to secure their place in Brazil.

The Dinamo Zagreb captain was captured on video using a microphone to lead chants which were found to have associations with Croatia's former pro-Nazi Ustase regime.




A FIFA statement said: "The committee took note that the player, together with the crowd, shouted a Croatian salute that was used during World War II by the fascist 'Ustase' movement.

"As a consequence, the committee agreed that this salute was discriminatory and offended the dignity of a group of persons concerning, inter alia, race, religion or origin, in a clear breach of article 58 par. 1a) of the FIFA disciplinary code.

"After taking into account all of the circumstances of the case, and particularly given the gravity of the incident, the committee decided to suspend the player for 10 official matches."

After disciplinary proceedings were opened against Simunic on November 22, a Dinamo statement denied any intent to make a political statement but confirmed that Simunic had used the phrase: "For the homeland". Croatian fans replied by shouting: "Ready".

The 35-year-old, who was born and grew up in Australia, also said at the time he was horrified to have been accused of discrimination.
