Hey Jamstar, while you are it, maybe you can provide a legitimate answer to LoLy's query in the other thead.

for
Steve Mullings, it's 0.21 below his PB (not counting this year) . He
never ran below 10.00 before this year when 29 years old.

It would be interesting to know what he has changed in his training to get such improvement.

I would also be very interested to know how a negro runs a PB at 29years old. And not only that he runs a new PB, but he smashed it by 0.21. At 29 year old, he smashes his PB by 0.21. Allow me to LOL.
This is clear evidence of doping. Ben Johnson and Carl Lewis are not paranoic, they are telling the truth. Blake is a doper, Mullings is a doper, surely all other Jamaicans are dopers, including the women.

Alln2 so if I were to find a white french sprinter that doped would the same theory apply, no! because he his own man.

Alln2 are you really saying that every black athlete that has ever run faster that CL is a doper.

Yeah I mean how could they do that, that black should be in the fields picking cotton.

Its all coming back to me now Thanou, Kendris and Block were all clean and got set up by the same liberal media that denomize the great institution called slavery.

Damnation--does it have to come to this? For the record, let it show that Jamstar was unfailingly polite and positive from the moment he arrived on the boards. It's clear that we don't all agree on the drug issue. Some of us are pretty suspicious of the steroids, when used by jacked-up looking athletes of any color or nationality, but an indictment of a few users is not an indictment of a race or a country. There's no call to unleash all the n-words and such. I know it's all anonymous, but we shouldn't use that as a crutch and lose our civility. I bet most of us would be more than happy to sit next to Jamstar at a track meet and shoot the breeze, so I suggest we chill. Maybe someone could post some nice pictures of Ivet Lalova. If that won't distract us, nothing will.

The guys here think something is up with the Jamaicans becuase there are so much top sprinters from there. Why are jamaicans blacks so good compared to blacks from the US in sprinting, Espacially the last 5-10 years, before you had much more black american then jamaican top sprinters.Yes sprinting is populair in Jamaica but is that enough to outpeform all the others from the american and the african continent.Jamaican economy is not much differnt from the west african countries so that isn't the reason.

In holland the most popualir sport is soccer and played by 6.7 %

let say 6.7% of jamaicans do athletics and 0.3% of west africans ,then you have around 165000 jamaican sprinters and 1.2 million west african ones but there are 0 west african ones in the top 10 2011 100 meter but 6 jamaicans.

I myself am pretty sure that west african are faster on average in sprintning on average then whites but east africans not , and in long distances east africans are the fastest naturally on average and whites intermediar and west africans having the least endurance off the whole world.with the marathon gap between west africans and east africans being 10 percent If I rember it was something like 2.02 against 2 houres and 15 min.

if 100 meter solo didn't exist but that same 100 meter sprinters had to run marathon too and you mae a overall clasment like (like decathlon but then the longest and shortest distance and no throwing etc.)then blacks wouldn't be seen as better overall runners I think.

This make me think of speed skating.Did you guys know they now want to stop riding the 10000 meters to make the allround classement less allround so there can be more competition between europeans and east asians were speed skating is populair too,but in the all round they can't compete so the want to make the allround which includes dinstances from 500 to 10000 meter for the men to 500 to 5000 and it are all white speed skaters that complain about the allround cup becoming less allround.

Thanks for bringing the temperature down trackster, got a bit out of hand there, I hope you guys dont take those race comments too seriously.

Drugs in the sport is real and I do expect people to be suspicious but we must be able to talk about it like adults and not accuse an entire nation of dishonesty.

For the record I support CL not only because he is good for the sport (imagine a Bolt v CL olympic final) but because he proves what I have been saying to folks for years.

If you get the kids to take up track and give them proper coaching and guidance they will excell no matter the race or location.

Waterbed I have NO problems with your post and will gladly post a reply.

Over the last couple of years the Americans have had 3 junior sprinters who would absolutely kill our junior sprinters, all 3 are now playing football while our top junior sprinters have graduated to the senior ranks and are now improving past their times.

If your an american and your fast your going to be a Football player, if your Jamaican and your fast your going to be a trackstar.

I stated it already the bump in performance is because of improved facilities, coaching at the junior level and giving athletes the opportunity to continue their careers after high school if they dont get a scholarship.

The West African countries barely have functioning Governments, their track federations are even worst so they are unable to put in place the necessary measures to improve their situations.

For the record Ben is not paranoid because he thinks it takes drugs to get to the top, he is paranoid because 33 years after the seoul final he still tells anyone who is willing to listen than Carl Lewis spiked his water.

Jamstar you must be a troll or plain stupid as this is not a pro jamica forum

it is so blindingly obvious and nothing you have said can or will
convince me otherwise , your argument is actually very basic
and others dont be making excuses to try to explain the obvious

that all due to participation , infrastucture and heritage but
this could be said about many nations in past or in future .
there are many more variables at work .

many coaches and people in know have said before that
to run under 9.80 is just not possible without exogenous help
not just johnson
and this was in relation to steroids ,and older type ped's
any top sprinter will tell you how difficult it is to naturally break into 10.30
range regularly .

you said that only here to follow a certain french sprinter and
i assume that only because wondering if he is being aided by very
means that your beloved affletes are .

and if look at facts objectivly , i have said before that believe he
is using very methods as others ,who ever is controling it
aint stupid , and knowes white athlete will increase interest no end
but still keepin it mainly for affletes for many reasons already mentioned.

he is also a pretty long legged athlete ,similar to bolt and leads to greater
gains in speed when factor in longer stride and ped letting such
athletes run at theses speeds where before never succeeded.
and recently bolt has been mentioning him alot for obvious reasons
but still is and like to many similarities, only minor point though .

i dont want to discuss this anymore and hijacked board enough ,
return to talking about other athletes Edited by: jayo1980

So what if this is not a pro Jamaican forum I can still post if I want to.

I have been reading here for more than a year, registered a account since November of last year, if you think I do all these things because I want to troll here then I can see why you would call me stupid.

What are you talking about? It's cool now. I'm talking about how you and alln2 were going back and forth and it was getting ugly. Neither side needs to take it to that level. Edited by: white lightning

I have no problem on what you say, in fact i dont think Bolt is on any ped; he is just a freak of nature with a natural long effortless stride with turnover to match. It is simplephysicswhy he can run so fast. On the other hand, Mullings, Carter and Yohan have something to hide.

Sorry I just don't buy that. Bolt like all the Jamaicans is an artificailly produced product.
He is the most gifted sprinter I have ever seen. But even those extraordinary abilities combined with hard work gets him down to 9.78s or simillar - not 9.58.
Another illustration of why I think Jamaican sprinting is partly a lab enhanced product is to look at Lemaitre's best time this year. he has the 12th fasted 100M time. Of the eleven people faster than him this year SEVEN are Jamaicans.
Really.

Jamstar, three things on which perhaps you could give some insight:

1. Jamaican cultural attitudes regarding drugs vs. your perception of White USA attitudes on this. (My thought on this is that White Americans love their prescription drugs, but non-prescription drugs are mostly taboo; except maybe in sports, which I consider a gateway to drugs).

2. The acceptability of the "fowl pill" by everyday women in Jamaica.

3. Regarding sprinting in the USA, I think that American football actually creates a larger pool of sprinters, compared to the few that it steals from the track. My thinking on this is that speed is important in football --- but so is bulk and strength. This emphasis on not only speed but strength has the side effect of creating a larger pool of short sprinters. I do think that football steals from the track potential 400 m runners -- those kids who were naturally fast, but needed to bulk up to play football; and in the process creating a larger pool of 100 m sprinters. And I would guess that drug use is even more common here, because there is a Plan B available in that if in one sport the athlete is unsuccessful (or banned), the other sport is still available as an option.

ADDED: Similarly, I would guess that football also expands the American base for potential power-lifters (having first begun serious weight-training as a preparation for football).

Observer interesting theory about football v track but after seeing guys like Jeff Demps and Trindon Holiday choose football over track, well lets just say I think most young fast guys in american will choose big money sports like football over track.

I may be wrong though.

Trindon's "big money" football "career" of one year in the NFL is most likely over after being injured all the time at 5'5 166 pounds plus the new kickoff rules. Who is to say Demps won't do track? Hes not highly regarded as an NFL prospect, just like Trindon who was taken in the 6th round, making league minimum. How many top 100 meter sprinters are around 5'5-5'6?
