regarding hellas verona, they have one black player now because souprayen is not arab
also, it's surprising to see an italian with a very blatant french name (blanchard) in the starting 11 of the promoted team (firosine)
it's unusual to see french immigrants in italy
Well, Souprayen does look very dark, but dos not really have the typical black facial features. To me he looks like a very dark (and ugly) Arab, but now I see that he is from the island of Reunion in the Indian ocean. Anyway - not good.
Regarding French sounding last names of Italian players in the Serie A - there are several - Sergio Pelissier in Chievo, there is also Alex Meret playing as a goalkeeper in Udinese. Simone Scuffet in Como (serie B). Enzo Bearzot was a famous defender in the 50s (played for the national team) and even more famous coach of the Italian national team that won the 1982 World Cup.
Pogba's first league outing of the campaign ended in disaster, for both the star midfielder and the Italian champions as he adjusts to life without former teammates Arturo Vidal and Andrea Pirlo.
Juventus dominated throughout, failed to hit the target on nearly a dozen occasions and Pogba, who looked lost amid a new-look midfield, capped a poor performance with a ridiculously wide free-kick attempt that became a Twitter sensation for his detractors.
so after a terrible first game:
pogba disappears totally against AS roma, with evra getting a red card (pogba could also have been red carded in this game)
juventus still have zero points
Actually Sampdoria equalized and the game ended 2-2 (they almost won at the end, but Napoli's goalkeeper Pepe Reina managed a big save and kept them afloat). Napoli is again suffering from defensive problems as last year, and having that useless black Kalidou Koulibaly in the middle of their defence certainly doesn't help.
Below is a video with the 4 goals, notice how this useless prick is positions himself during the second goal.
Pogba was an absolute disaster again. This guy wouldn't know how to send a long ball if his life depended on it, even a still ball from a free kick or a corner... and he's supposed to be a playmaker and replace Pirlo? Ridiculous.
Juventus director general Giuseppe Marotta says ‘€100m will not be enough’ for Paul Pogba if he continues to develop. The Bianconeri rejected an €80m bid from Barcelona for the midfielder, and there were reports Chelsea were preparing an even bigger offer.
“What I’ve noticed is that we’re in a particular market, and next year values will increase by 30 or 40 per cent. “I’ve noticed how the Premier League has become richer, and we’ve seen clubs buying players for what would have been crazy prices until recently, but are very normal today.
“Next year I predict even bigger deals. If Pogba maintains his level of performance from last year, then €100m will not be enough to get him.â€
Most top earners still seem to be White except in Juventus (Pogba), Inter (Kondogbia) and Milan (Bacca).
