Oakland Raiders, the Sox of baseball, etc. You'll notice this with college colors as well, guys on the west coast wearing the jerseys of say, North Carolina or Duke.

Yeah, this is all true. That guy in red is definitely Blood.

Gangs love to flaunt sports jerseys for this reason. There is less notable gang in Florida called "Us N*ggers Love Violence", and they are known for wearing UNLV college attire, because the abbreviation matched theirs. But, more commonly gangs just use the clothing because of matching gang colors. However, I still can't seem to get used to seeing a Blood in a Red Wings jersey of a Crip wearing a St. Loius Blues jersey.

Where I live, the hispanic gangs are more common than the black ones. The Latin Kings gang's colors are black and yellow, and I've seen members of the gang walking around wearing Boston Bruins and Pittsburgh Penguins jerseys too, just becuse of the colors.

I don't think David Stern has promoted Gangster culture. He has tryed to limit gangster culture with the euro invasion and dress code.

The "Euro Invasion" is overrated, IMO. I don't follow basketball much anymore, but whenever I see highlights on ESPNews or NBATV, there are almost always eight or nine black players on the court at any given time. Not impressed.

The Euros aremostly cast in scrub roles. Only 5 of the top 50 scorers are White, just 10% of that important category. Dirk is 9th with 25.5 then it drops all the way to Nash at 29 then Mike Miller at 32 then Ganobili at42 and Hinrich at 47. The Euros are either underachieving or are being forced into Caste roles of backups and role players.

I've seen blacks wear jerseys of white players such as Bird, Rick Barry, and Jerry West mainly due to the whole "throwback" trend started in (c)rap/hip-crock music

Blacks will only wear white players jersey's if they're throwback. To them throwback are just the ultimate "cool" jersey to wear. It's not that these guys are color blind its just they have no idea who the hell Rick Berry, Lance Alworth, are let alone that they're white.

Idiot rock slingers can't remember what they ate yesterday let alone who played in the league prior to 2000...
