OK, I lied. The article is the usual Tebow-bashing, made especially stupid by the fact he's hardly gotten to play at all this season despite his team's starting QB being awful. You can honestly skip right down past it.

What's actually interesting is the comments section, where the writers is being ripped up one side and down the other. Some of the most popular comments point out that the writer hates Tebow for being an outspoken Christian, because the writer is a Jew.

This is a surprising development. Conservative Christians typically love Israel and Jews, without ever noticing the Jewish dominance of the liberal media which hates Christianity, Christians, and Christ.

examples:
"I'd have some respect for you if you'd just come out and say it, "You hate his faith." Happy Hanukkah Peter"

"Thanks And We Will ... Maybe you're a bigot because Tebow is a Christian and you're Jewish? Who knows, but EVERYONE knows that the Jets used Tebow to sell merchandise and sell tickets..."

"Typical Christian hater Schwartz. No evidence or police blog to cite. His Christian faith clearly irks you. Don't worry, haters like you have been after Christians for century upon century."

M3D, that's the biggest reason the pro-caste media rails on Tim...because he is a Christian. That factor even more than his phenomenal talent and accomplishments.

FYI, I'd say it's most mainline, zio-"Christians" who love das juden. Any Biblically literate Christian (as all should be) knows anyone who rejects the Savior is an 'antichrist' (by definition). Here's some clarification from IFB pastor Steven Anderson....

His being a Christian has absolutely nothing to do with the hate. The league is chock full of believers who drop to their knee and "Tebow" after every touchdown.

People hate him because they're sick of having the worst quarterback in the league shoved down their collective throat 25 hours a day, 8 days a week. They're sick of having his obsessive, delusional fans try to forcefeed him down everyone else's throats.

They hate turning on their tv's and being forcedfed news about the love life of someone as irrelevant as a 3rd string quarterback. Did I really need to know and/or care that he broke up with his girlfriend last week? My back-up quarterbacks are Shaun Hill and Kellen Moore. You think I could care less who they're dating? I tolerate all that Tom Brady/Ugg boot-wearing/Gisele Bundchen nonsense because he has transcendent, iconic talent. Tim's a 3rd string quarterback who completes 46% of passes, had the most 3 and outs in the history of the league, and was kicked out of Denver and can't get off of the Jets bench because everyone who sees him on a daily basis knows he sucks. It's gotten to the point that people are simply sick of being subjected to everything regarding his life.

Kurt Warner was an annoying, proselytizing "Jesus Freak" at times too. Charlie Ward was an annoying, proselytizing "Jesus Freak" at times too. RGIII wears his faith on his sleeve. Drew Brees wears his faith on his sleeve. No one cared. Why? Because they are/were good players. If Tebow was actually good enough to get on the field, no one would care about the amount of attention he's getting.

Never in the history of sport has an athlete so awful at what he does been so coddled and celebrated for no reason whatsoever. It's annoying, and people are just lashing out.

"Annoying"? Apparently you cared. If you and your ilk had any opportunity to throw Brees or Warner under the bus I am guessing it would of occurred at the first opportunity (i.e. their talent had become in any degree debatable relative to their popularity and outspokenness as Christians).

I would think you "Neocons" would be kissing the feet of the "Jesus Freaks". Seeing as they are your first and last friend in the world. That is...anywhere in the world.

Hey man, I get it. I am not a Christian. And I think the Bible Belters really have shown themselves as mindless, gullible and despicable, most especially in their allegiance to the Neocons, the true core of whom absolutely loathe them.

But here's my guess: They will be as mindless and unreasonable an enemy to those same Neocons when the SHTF and everyone figures out who their real friend is. Which appears to be happening, buddy, albeit gradually.

Board, please don't judge other New England Residents/Patriot fans by this guy. He doesn't appear to deserve so White and talented a team.

So that Neocon name is sarcastic? Or are there people so daft that they openly and proudly refer to themselves by an obvious oxymoron originally coined as a slur? Sort of like when someone calls themselves a Niggah?

Neocon, if you're one of those people who hate being forcefed TT 25 hours a day 8 days a week, maybe you should try doing something else other than paying it attention, like; having a family, reading a book, go outside, get some exercise, a life, etc. and have a Merry CHRISTmas!

Or he could have a happy Hannuka and dance around a dradel! However, Tebow gets most of his hatred because he is playing the forbidden position of athletic running quarterback. The yids in the media have decided a long time ago that white qbs needed to be replaced with the "New Breed." Being an outgoing Christian certainly didn't help. Just think how the media would recieve Tebow if his last name was Tebowstein and he was an outgoing Owl worshiper. He'd be the bagel toast of the town.

Never been a big Tebow fan, but his critics in many cases are mentally damaged disturbed individuals. Quite frankly this is to our advantage, and we should point this out.

A simple solution for the DWFs: if your team loses, blame Tim Tebow. So what if he doesn't play for "your team". He doesn't play for the (N)ew York Jets either, but he gets blamed for their losses. Tebow might actually start to get blamed for stuff that used to be George W. Bush's fault. Actually, there's a pretty good lesson there for Tim: DEFEND YOURSELF! Silence is admission of guilt. Sorry, it shouldn't be that way, but it is. Raise heck about how you were treated. Same goes for a few other white players.

I usually stay out of the Tebow talk, because it tends to irritate me. Good people are falling in love with Tebow without realizing what they are getting into.

I know I'll be accused of trolling, but let me just state flat out: Tim Tebow is gay. I mean, he's Ted Haggard gay, so obviously gay it's painful. You can look at any still photo of Tebow smiling into the camera and it's clear that he has what is known as "gay face". When I realised this, I googled "Tim Tebow gay" and found out there's actually a video of him kissing a teammate on the mouth during a game!

Churchgoing people are good people but they're generally without guile. I wish they would wise up about things like this.

If Tebow were gay the media would be all over it. The picture you speak of, there is no clear image of lips touching, it loo

ks more on the side, watch the footage live, he went in for the hug and DT brought him closer, if anything Tebow looks repulsed, and what is a gay smile?

Ive seen that smile on the sidelines while he is singing "my God is an awesome God", if anything he is in love with Jesus (more than one game). I think people try to look for faults in him and they can't, which probably pisses a lot of people off. Not to say he doesn't have his faults, he is only human, we all do. He just isn't doing anything terrible, I don't think being gay is one of his faults. Either way, I know I am not "falling in love with Tebow", he has tremendous talent and its being wasted, regardless of who he is as a person.

Yea if ANY player was gay it would be a wet dream come true for the satan worshiping puppet masters. The player would be held up as the new face of sports, and honored greatly. They would make a role model out of him. That being said I bet most of the black afroletes would engage in homosexual activity if they thought they could keep it secret.

exactly, the fact that a gay player from an FCS school got so much press after having sexual relations with a 65 year old man DURING THE GAME proves this point. He wasn't even a star player, he was a freshman that had never taken a snap in a real game. It was even aired on ESPN. Im sure if some college picks him up and he turns out to be any good they will hype him up.

as far black players, Im pretty sure many are secretly, the call it being on the "dl" or down low, most of these guys go both ways though, and usually have a wife or gf. Michael Strahan and pretty positive Ronde Barber were two of the better known players. Being gay isn't as accepted in black community, (and it shouldn't be in any community). Its probably more accepted by blacks in prison but thats about it. I don't think their behavior is any different on the outside world, just more secretive. The only openly gay black men I have seen "act White" as in, hang out with White girls, live in White areas and hang out where Whites hang out.

http://blacksportsonline.com/home/wp-content/uploads/2012/06/lil-wayne-baby-kiss.jpeg

now thats a gay kiss, warning don't click on the link if you have a weak stomach. What makes it gross is that "Birdman" picked up Lil Wayne when he was 11 years old, Birdman was 24 then.

btw there was a rumour of another kiss when I looked up the videos, one back at UF, he hugs the player and the other player looks like he tries to kiss Tebow on the neck, so it looks like a few players are falling in love with Tebow...in a gay way and that love is not reciprocal, maybe its the reason why they had some angry Jets players bashing him hah. Also probably why he got Riley Cooper as his roommate so he wouldn't have to deal with gay roommates (the guy that tried to kiss him on the neck was his roommate at the time). They have been trying to run with this gay thing for a while, since 2007 and it hasn't stuck, it doesn't have any legs, no evidence to back it up. I don't think he could have kept it a secret for 5 years, especially when they went digging after the 2007 "incident".

Yea, and if my grandmother had wheels, she'd be a bicycle. In theory, "if" is one of the most useless, most inconsequential words in the english lexicon. You can throw "if" into your reasoning all day and night, but it doesn't change the fact that Brees and Warner haven't been subjected to the avalanche of criticism Tebow has. Warner was 10 times the bully pulpit preacher Tebow could ever be, and everyone was fine with it.

Actually, the fact that you were forced to contort the premise of my argument (i.e. *IF* Warner and Brees had debatable talent relative to their popularity *AND* were outspoken, *THEN* such and such would happen) to try to prove your point (which you didn't.. because realistically, without your contrived contortion actually happening, you could never prove it's viability) you unintentionally strengthened my point.

Hey Neocon since Tebow so obviously sucks do you have any theories as to why the Jets signed him in the first place?

They unfortunately fell for the Tebow Hype Machine. They were lured by the potential riches his loyal legion of followers would eagerly stuff down their craw. The marketing opportunities, the ticket sales, the back page o' the tabloids buzz, etc. They obviously wanted to tap into the Tebow mystique and hysteria. Ironically, that same mystique might have been what eventually swallowed them.

They didn't sign him for his arm. They just re-upped Mark Sanchez to an ungodly, undeserved contract AFTER Tebow was available and no one else wanted him. Why would they do that it they that if they earnestly believed Tebow was the answer? From day one they only said they were gonna use him for the wildcat package. Once the GM, Coach Ryan, the OC, and the QB coach finally got under the hood and checked him out, they realized he wasn't any good.

Why do you think they got him? Are you inferring that the Jets wasted all of the time, energy, and resources efforted to procure him simply to put him on ice? And, that they're putting him on ice because he's a Christian? Couldn't it be, perhaps, that once they kicked the tires, they realized they bought a lemon?

I haven't heard a single NFL coach or NFL teammate, publicly or anonymously, acknowledge that he's a competent quarterback. I doubt we ever will.

However, Tebow gets most of his hatred because he is playing the forbidden position of athletic running quarterback.

Running quarterbacks still need to be accurate. If you're not accurate, defenses will stuff the box leading to light, one-on-one coverage of the recievers. That would be more than adequate to scheme against Tebow. He wouldn't be able to run, and, his scatter-arm can barely hit open receivers down the field, much less those that are covered.

In college, his size and strength allowed him to manhandle most of his opponents. Unfortunately, the NFL doesn't afford him that luxury.

I'd venture to guess a minicule percentage by default, if any, of his critics are "mentally damaged disturbed individuals". They're doing what the media is apt to do.. build people up, only to tear them down. It sells papers. It lines pockets. It's not rocket science. That's why the Jets bought into the nonsense.

Making an effort to broadcast that others are mentally disturbed simply because they disagree with you, and encouraging others to broadcast their anger as well, only proves how much your antagonist has sucked you in.

I believe it was Bill Parcells who coined it best.. "Consider yourself sucked", lol.
