A thread to discuss where you think our prospects would fit nicely/have a good shot landing.

Very often is seems that our guys go to the absolute worst place for them to showcase their abilities (Hester to SD to sit behind Tomlinson, Leonard to St.L to sit behind Jackson, Gerhart to MIN to sit behind Peterson, etc). But many white players recently have landed in organizations which are willing to showcase their talent right away. Kuechley, Cushing, Matthews, Watt, Harrison Smith, D. Wolfe, Kerrigan, and Sean Lee are just a few defensive players of recent note.

I am of the opinion that a few white-stacked teams that are very successful is better for our cause than white players being spread out in putrid organizations who overwhelmingly ignore their talent and ruin their careers. With this in mind, I hope the "White" NFL teams (Patriots, Broncos, Texans, Vikings, Packers) snatch up most of the white talent.

Here are a few of my ideal fits:

1) Margus Hunt to Packers, 1st round. The Packers need to whiten up in a hurry again or they'll slip off the board for us. Green Bay's D-line has no difference maker, and Hunt would help out Matthews tremendously.

2) Rex Burkhead to the Packers, 4th-6th Rnds. The RB field in Green Bay is WIDE open and he could start right away. They run a zone blocking scheme which perfectly suits his abilities. Green Bay would improve to 8-9 white starters on offense.

3) Bjeorn Werner to Broncos, 1st round. Werner has been slipping a lot, but this could be great if Denver can scoop him up. He would replace Dumervil, and a DE tandem of Wolfe and Werner would look great. Bradley at MLB would give Denver a relatively white-friendly defense.

4) Ryan Swope to Vikings, 2nd-3rd Round. The ever-whitening Vikings have no talent at WR. Swope could fill the Harvin role, and be both a deep and slot threat. MIN would boast 7-8 white starters on offense.

5) Zeke Motta to Vikings, 4th Round. There is already a lot of talk of reuniting Motta and Smith. It helps that R. Minstral is horrible. The Vikings would then have 5 whites on defense.

Anyone have more?

On the less exciting offensive line front, I'd like to see the white O-lineman go to teams without many existing white starters, so they would likely not knock out another white player for the starting gig. Joekel to KC is a great case in point, or Fisher to the Jets

I don't know if any team is the ideal situation anymore. It used to be the Patriots, but they let go Welker and Woodhead and have had some pretty black drafts, they brought in Amendola, but also tried to bring in a black receiver from the Steelers, I am not sure if the Steelers matched the offer. They are also reportedly interested in Tavon Austin, which would take the slot role away from Amendola. I had a feeling it was a Superbowl win or bust season for the Pats last year and mentioned it, and I guess it was true. Perhaps Bellicheck doesn't think getting to the superbowl twice and always making it the postseason was the right formula with Welker. I mean he didn't retain Welker after Brady lobbied for him and said he was the heart and soul of the team? Just doesn't make sense

It looks like they are going back to what they were before 2010, a more run heavy offense and will be utilizing two tight ends a lot.

Green Bay used to be more White friendly and then after the Superbowl got darker.

It would be nice to see the Colts add more Whites. Luck is the future at the qb position, Manning is on the downside of his career with the Broncos, so hopefully they draft one of these White qbs that falls due to the black quarterbacks being overhyped and develop him. Ryan Mallet looks like the real deal and can come in when Brady is done, but they might trade him before Brady is done with his career.

It would be nice if some of the White talent was spread around. The Bucs a while back had several safeties that could make an impact somewhere else but only used one at a time if I remember correctly. The Bears also have a ton of White safeties that would be an upgrade for many teams. The Colts should have never gotten rid of Tommy Z. I like seeing majority White teams dominate, but if they were spread out through several teams and actually given a fair chance then dwfs would want those types of players. After the success of Hillis in 2010, many fans wanted to see what Hester and Leonard could do as featured backs, but they did everything to ruin his reputation.

Where does Zach Line go? he has proven that he can run the ball regardless of what they say his 40 yard time is, they had a guy that ran slower than him that ran for 900 yards one year, and didn't have as much agility. Maybe the Raiders? they seem to be in rebuilding mode and have little money and need cheap guys to fill the void. They have Matt Giordano who has played the past two seasons. The Saints brought in Jim Leonhard and are interested in John Boyett.

I dunno, I think this is going to be a darker draft than usual ("concidentally its seen as a poor draft but considered to have "depth". A good deal of Whites will be screwed. Guys like AJ Klein and Chase Thomas who make an impact their rookie year will probably have to serve their racial apprenticeship.

Even with the small amount drafted each year, those guys stick around and make an impact while dozens and dozens of blacks are out of the league in several years. Even if they kept the rate at 30 percent but gave the White players a fair chance, the racial balance in the league would change with more Whites, which is what they don't want. If things were fair even with the caste system screwing kids over in recruiting to colleges, there would be a White receiver on every team, some teams two, a White safety on every team, some teams two, more linebackers and defensive linemen and less sumos on the line. With over half of the teams having Whites with big roles at rb, guys like Jake Sharp, Nate Kmic, Justin Beaver, Chad Kackert, Brian Leonard, Jacob Hester, Peyton Hillis, Chase Reynolds, Joe Martinek, Luke Lippincott, Brock Jackolski, Gerhart, JJ DiLuigi, Kyle Minnet, Kevin Harris, Robbie Frey and now Burkhead and Line. The fact that that many slipped through the cracks and made an impact at the college level with the potential to make an impact in the pros says alot.

Apparently the Rams are interested in TJ Moe so that'd be cool to see him go there and create some chemistry between him and Bradford.

I'd like to see Vernon or Swope picked up by the Colts,Saints, or Jags..

As a Packer fan I am hoping for a fair draft(If Margus Hunt fell that far I'd be thrilled) but I won't keep my fingers crossed. It seems Ted Thompson might have taken some heat for having too many white guys on that Super Bowl winning team.. But I hope he realizes he will never get close to those results again if he keeps drafting the way he has..

I wish every one of those players mentioned in the original post went to Miami. Fat chance we'll even get one of these guys with caste whore Jeff Ireland picking the players. I was hoping that when we got Joe Philbin, knowing that he came from Green Bay, that our team would look less caste-ian. But of course, the Phins Zionist owner Steven Ross refused to fire Ireland (God only knows why. Four straight losing seasons normally means the door for most GM's) I've heard rumblings that Ireland is in love with sumo offensive lineman DJ Fluker despite the fact that he sucks and doesn't fit the Phins offensive blocking scheme at all. Look for another coal black draft for Miami courtesy of Jeff Ireland.

If some of these WRs can’t find the ideal team to latch onto, then a team that is not necessarily White friendly but with a top QB would be good. Brees, Eli Manning, Matt Ryan, etc. bring the big time media attention which is extra beneficial to the cause if any of these WRs were fortunate enough to play and be on the receiving end of their missiles.

Sam McGuffie should be on somebody’s draft board.

There's no way that overrated Ansah afflete should be drafted before Werner or Hunt. Margus is bigger, faster and stronger than the afrolete. If some GM has some brains, they'll see the jewel that Hunt is anid draft him in round 1.

Read a report saying Swope has visited with Bears, Bills, and Chargers. I'd be happy with any of those teams for him, as long as he got enough playing time. San Diego would be ideal.

I would like to see Swope land with Chargers ahead of almost any team in the NFL. The Vikings and Texans would be my first choices as they need WRs and are white friendly. If the Chargers started Swope and Woodhead splits carries that would give them 8 starters on offense (5 on OL pending a probable first round pick on RT).

Weddle and J. Johnson on defense would make the chargers a team to root for.

I have to agree with DWID. Their really does not seem to be an ideal landing spot anywhere in the NFL. Houston, New England, Indianapolis and Green Bay have all become considerably blacker over the past few seasons.

Denver almost seems like the white man's last stand - Peyton in his last few seasons bringing in the best white players. Other then Denver the cause and push for more white players is not looking very good.

It's great to see all the best offensive linemen in this draft are all white. But with receivers, RBs, DBs it's the same old story. Their are some really great athletes like McGuffie, Cooper Taylor, Swope, Burkhead and Line available yet all of them are being talked about as mid-round picks at best. The stigma against white players is as strong as ever. The DWFs disgustingly believe that blacks are better athletes without question. It is sad how so many just accept this as truth under false pretenses.

The well-trained CM dweebs at Weenieworld assure us that having the IQ of a moron is irrelevant when it comes to success in the NFL. Gee, why don't they say the same about straight-line speed over a short distance (which happens to be, on average, the only black athletic advantage over Whites):

The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reports West Virginia WR Tavon Austin scored a seven on his Wonderlic Test at the Combine. The Journal-Sentinel's Bob McGinn has exclusive access to Wonderlic scores each year, and he reveals them for some top wide receivers at the linked article below. Tennessee's Cordarrelle Patterson registered an 11 out of 50. College teammate Justin Hunter scored a 12. Keenan Allen (19) and Robert Woods (23) were much better. Ultimately, Wonderlic scores have zero correlation to NFL success. Troy Williamson scored a 21, while A.J. Green scored a 10. Redskins busts Devin Thomas and Malcolm Kelly both scored in the 20s.

It depends on the schemes that they want a boderline illiterate player to run. I would think the Patriots wouldn't touch a guy like this but a team like the Bungles or Arizona would embrace this guy with open arms. I have read numerous times that teams like low IQ'd tailbacks and cornerbacks too because their assignments are simple. Fullbacks with more releases and blocking schemes need to be smarter than tailbacks.

I really hope the Broncos pick up A.J. Klein in the mid-rounds. He could play the Will linebacker spot with Bradley at Mike and V. Miller as the pass rusher.

I wasn't very impressed from watching his Baylor game but he played much better in the east-west game and his career accomplishments and stats are impressive. He's very good in coverage and flashes good tackling ability. His instincts sometimes seem weak and he seems flat footed and hesitant sometimes. All that being said, I think he should be a solid starter in the NFL. Werner, Wolfe, Bradley, Klein, and Gideon. I can dream right?

As a homer, I would love to see Ryan Tannehill be reunited with his favorite college receiver. I will pay to see the tandem of Hartline and Swope.

So I was trying to be ambitious and do a really thorough write up and provide some player comments but ran out of steam. I did finish a write up on the QBs, RBs and WRs. I figured I would share it:

Quarterbacks

Ideal Landing Spot(s)
1
Matt Barkley QB USC
1[SUP]st[/SUP] Round
5 years ago would have been a no-brainer as a top 5 pick. Once the spread option is figured out teams will be sorry they passed on this “throwbackâ€. Unfairly scrutinized, played behind a very poor o-line. Has all the necessary tools to become an elite QB. Comparison – Matt Ryan
Buffalo, Oakland, Arizona
2
Ryan Nassib QB Syracuse
Mid 1[SUP]st[/SUP] – early 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] Round
Came on strong as a senior. Improved every year and helped elevate the Syracuse program from being basement dwellers. Played under Doug Marrone who also coached Drew Brees – displayed the ability to thrive in a pro style offense. Perfect west coast offense fit – would thrive in the New Orleans system Comparison – Andy Dalton
Buffalo, Jets
3
Mike Glennon QB NC St
2[SUP]ND[/SUP] Round
Possesses great arm strength, not afraid to make throws into tight windows or throw the ball downfield. Suited more to play in a vertical passing attack. Was surrounded by lackluster receivers and running backs in college which negatively impacted his numbers. Needs to add a little bit of muscle to his frame. Comparison – Joe Flacco
Oakland, Arizona
4
Landry Jones QB Oklahoma
3[SUP]rd[/SUP] Round
Has the prototypical size and arm strength that teams look for at the position. Has experience in playing in the uptempo spread offense the Broncos/Patriots run. Was a four year start at Oklahoma and leader of many prolific offenses. Boasts a very good winning percentage in college. Would have been a late 1[SUP]st[/SUP] round pick last year if he declared – being devalued and overly criticized by the media, scouts and fans. Better than Sam Bradford Comparison – Matt Schaub
Tampa Bay, Arizona, Jets
5
Tyler Wilson QB Ark
3[SUP]rd[/SUP] Round
Tough as nails, made no excuses for a down 2012 season although he rightly could of due to the scandal surrounding Petrino. Has the ability to make all the throws, accurate, a smart heady player who is a gamer. Very good at moving around and throwing the ball on the run. Comparison – Kirk Cousins
Tampa Bay, New Orleans, Cleveland, Kansas City
6
Tyler Bray QB Tenn
3[SUP]rd[/SUP]-4[SUP]th[/SUP] Round
The prototype QB. Huge arm, has the prototypical look of a QB, gun slinger mentality, shredded the SEC’s defenses. Has questions surrounding his past – making poor decisions, drugs etc. Another QB that would thrive in a vertical attacking offense. If his head is on straight should be a very good QB though. Comparison – Ryan Mallet
Arizona, Oakland, Chicago, San Diego
7
Zac Dysert QB Miami (OH)
4[SUP]th[/SUP] Round
Under the radar QB. Played on bad teams with poor coaching. Very tough, great ability to keep plays alive with his feet, has the arm strength to make all the throws. Big, strong, athletic player. Comparison – Tony Romo
Pittsburgh, Buffalo
8
Collin Klein QB KState
5[SUP]th[/SUP] Round
Athletic QB , a little bit of a project but as all the tools. Being written off but shouldn’t be since he is the type of QB the NFL is supposedly looking for. Comparison – Tim Tebow
Carolina, Tennessee, San Francisco
9
Colby Cameron QB La Tech
6[SUP]th[/SUP] Round
Quick, nimble QB. Accurate, decent arm. Leader of prolific offenses. Good WCO fit. Comparison – Bruce Gradkowski
Dallas
10
Ryan Griffin QB Tulane
6[SUP]th[/SUP] Round
Has prototypical size, under the radar sleeper QB. Somewhat of a buzz growing about him. Has a huge are, is very tough, player well on some bad seams. Has a lot of experience. Comparison – Marc Bulger
Detroit, Green Bay, Kansas City
Others
Jeff Tuel, Jordan Rodgers, Ryan Aplin

Jeff Tuel – ran a 4.60 40 – hampered by injuries in college
Jordan Rodgers – Aaron’s brother, great arm strength just needs consistency
Ryan Aplin – Prolific QB at ARK ST – underrated athleticism

Ideal Landing Spot(s)
1.
Rex Burkhead RB Nebraska
5[SUP]th[/SUP] Round
Great all around player – can do it all – run, run block, catch the ball out of the backfield, pass protection. Should be considered a 2[SUP]nd[/SUP]/3[SUP]rd[/SUP] round talent. Ran 4.6 40 and was a top performer in 5 of 7 combine events. Comparison – Arian Foster
Houston, Denver, Jets
2.
Zach Line RB SMU
6[SUP]TH[/SUP] Round
One of the best college running backs over the past 3-4 seasons. Very productive. Big strong runner yet has the ability to cut on a dime. Played in a spread offense and showed the ability to be a very good pass catcher as well. Comparison – Alfred Morris
Washington, Houston, Green Bay
3.
Kyle Juszcyk FB/H-Back Harvard
6[SUP]th[/SUP] Round
Very good all around back. Had a productive career. Projects as a TE/H-Back at the next level. Stock is rising as the draft approaches. Comparison – Garret Graham
St. Louis, Jacksonville

Tommy Bohanon, Michael Zordich, Zach Boren

2.
Conner Vernon WR Duke
4[SUP]th[/SUP] Round
Catches everything thrown at him, best hands of any receiver in this draft – the best pass catching WR since Mike Hass. Good speed, projects as a number 2 wideout – playing on the outside. Comparison – Brian Hartline
St. Louis, Oakland
3.
TJ Moe WR Mizzou
6[SUP]th[/SUP] Round
Highly productive in college when Gabbert was throwing to him. More of an RB skillset, very tough runner, shifty with the ability to make people miss. Has great hands and is fearless. Comparison – Anquan Boldin
Jacksonville, Minnesota
4.
Ryan Spadola WR Lehigh

Sam McGuffie WR Rice
6[SUP]th[/SUP] Round
One of the best athletes in this draft. Versatile – can play WR, RB, KR/PR. Ran a 4.28 40. Was pretty productive in college. Accumulated about 2800 total yards. Comparison – Danny Woodhead

Quick, shifty, fast return man who also played in the slot. New England sent a contigent to UCONN proday partly to watch his workout. Comparison – Devon Wylie

Thanks Quiet Speed. I may do some more write ups for TEs, DLinemen, LBs and Safeties. Have to admit that once I got to the O-Linemen I lost all my motivation because I just couldn't do a write up and comparison for 25+ players.

Ill pick and choose some players and throw the write ups in this thread late tonight.

I used to do a seven round mock draft for fun but find this much more satisfying as it allows me to discuss players I actually have a vested interest in seeing succeed as well as to expose the farce that is the NFL draft. I am looking forward to seeing how the players I selected as one's with potential to be drafted in the 2013 NFL Draft thread actually fare. I want to see how close my predictions are to where most of those guys get drafted.

I don't have time to follow all players in this years draft, so I appreciate this, well written and easy to follow. However i'm not sure if I share your enthusiasm about Barkley being drafted in the first round

Ideal Landing Spot(s)
1.
Tyler Eifert TE ND
1[SUP]st[/SUP]
Elite talent, can split out wide as well. Great hands, catches everything. Great speed and athleticism. Comparison – Greg Olsen
Chicago, Atlanta, Giants
2.
Zach Ertz TE Stanford
2[SUP]nd[/SUP]
Just a notch below Eifert , caught a ton of balls in Stanford’s offense. Very productive player with great hands. Comparison – Brent Celek
Green Bay, Atlanta, Giants, Jacksonville
3.
Vance McDonald TE Rice
2[SUP]nd[/SUP]
Very athletically gifted player, big, tall - stock has risen tremendously during the pre-draft process. Has a ton of untapped potential. Is the game changing TE in the mold of Gronk. Comparison – Rob Gronkowski
Jacksonville, Jets, Rams
4.
Travis Kelce TE Cincinatti
3[SUP]rd[/SUP]
Somewhat under the radar due to injuries, athletic TE with big play ability. Has some character concerns. Comparison – Owen Daniels
Cincinnati, Kansas City, Tennessee

Ideal Landing Spot(s)

Bjoern Werner DE FSU
1[SUP]st[/SUP]
Complete defensive end, can rush the passer just as well as playing verse the run. Has the ability to drop into coverage and play in space but is the prototype of a 4-3 DE. Comparison: Chris Long
Giants, Atlanta, Cincinatti
2.
Margus Hunt DE SMU
Late 1[SUP]st[/SUP] – early 2[SUP]nd[/SUP]
A freaskish athletic player, very tall and long. Somewhat raw player but has the potential to develop into a JJ Watt type player. Also excelled at blocking FGs and XPs. Due to his height, frame and raw strength would be more suited as a 3-4 DE. Comparison: JJ Watt
Baltimore, Indianapolis, Pittsburgh
3.
Joe Kruger DE Utah
3[SUP]rd[/SUP] round
Long, tall player, another prototypical 3-4 DE. Left college earlier and has more potential for getting stronger. Overshadowed by the overrated Star Louteleli but a very good player in his own right. Comparison: Adam Carriker
San Diego, Pittsburgh, Baltimore
4.
John Simon DE OSU
3[SUP]RD[/SUP]
Strong as an ox, playmaker, very fast for his size, has shown the ability to make impact plays behind the line of scrimmage. Probably projects more as a 3-4 OLB. Comparison: James Harrison
Pittsburgh, San Diego
5.
Mike Catapano DE Princeton
4[SUP]th[/SUP]
Athletic, dominant small school player that has risen during the pre-draft process. Can project as either a 3-4 OLB or 4-3 DE. Comparison: Mike Vrabel
New England, Houston
6.
Joe Vellano
6[SUP]th[/SUP]
Insanely productive tackling machine, should be ranked and viewed much higher. Great size for the position. Fits best as a 4-3 DT Comparison: Mike Wright
Jacksonville, Minnesota

Ideal Landing Spot(s)
1.
Kiko Alonso LB Oregon
2[SUP]nd[/SUP]
Athletic LB that plays well in space, plays the pass very well, can make plays behind the line of scrimmage and has good sideline to sideline playmaking ability. Ideal fit in a 4-3 Comparison: Paul Posluzny
Chicago, Denver
2.
Chase Thomas OLB Stanford
3[SUP]rd[/SUP]
Prototypical OLB, can get to the QB and make plays behind the line of scrimmage. The best player on one of the best defenses over the past few seasons. Comparison: Rob Ninkovich
Pittsburgh
3.
AJ Klein LB ISU
4[SUP]th[/SUP]
Good athlete, tackling machine that plays well sideline to sideline. Ideal candidate for an MLB or ILB in a 3-4. Comparison: Barrett Ruud
San Diego, Cleveland
4.
Travis Johnson OLB SJSU
5[SUP]TH[/SUP]
Under the radar player, very productive. WAC defensive players of the year. Finished his career with 32 sacks. Comparison: Frank Zombo
Green Bay, Baltimore
5.
Mike Mauti LB PSU
6[SUP]th[/SUP]
High character, great leader, very good player as well – was having a great season before suffering from a knee injury. Injuries are his biggest question mark. Ideal fit in a 4-3. Comparison: Hunter Hillenmeyer
Philadelphia, Atlanta

S

1.
Cooper Taylor S Richmond
4[SUP]th[/SUP]
The most athletic safety in this draft. Can make impact plays at the line or playing centerfield. Freakish size/speed for the position and would be an asset in covering the tight ends. Ideal free safety. Comparison: Adrian Wilson
Jacksonville, New England
2.
Cody Davis S Texas Tech
5[SUP]th[/SUP]
Very athletic safety, opened a lot of eyes at his pro day running a 4.4 40. Fast safety that is suited to play centerfield and use ability against the passing game. Comparison: Matt Giordano
Arizona, Detroit
3.
Zeke Motta Notre Dame
6[SUP]th[/SUP]
Disappointed somewhat with combine performance, did not test to well but makes plenty of plays on tape. More suited to strong safety, not afraid to make tackles or hit someone. Comparison: Cody Grimm
Minnesota, Houston
4.
Jordan Kovacs Michigan
7[SUP]th[/SUP]
One of the best safeties in the Big 10 the past few years. A true playmaking safety. Displayed athletic ability at pro day. Comparison: Tyler Sash
Detroit, Jets

TB, no problem - it's my goal to inform everyone on this forum and am glad to get feedback.

I do think Barkley will be a first round pick - he may not be early first but I can see a team jumping up for him. This guy was talked about as the 2nd pick last year behind Luck - it's amazing how the media, BSPN, caste whore scouts/personnel men and DWFs forget that. The media is full bore on the quoataback bandwagon - this is why he is being discounted but I think a savvy GM with half a brain would have no issue trading back up into the first to get him.

As a homer, I would love to see Ryan Tannehill be reunited with his favorite college receiver. I will pay to see the tandem of Hartline and Swope.
I agree. Swope would be an outstanding pick!

Swope would be forced to be a slot receiver if Miami takes him. Or else Hartline would be moved to the slot as Wallace will be starting outside. I'd rather see Swope go to a team that will start him on the outside, as unlikely as that may be as Swope is now being called more of a "tweener," a combination slot and outside guy, much like talented White running backs are often called tweeners to stymie using them as the feature back they deserve to be. Zach Line is this year's "tweener" at RB.
