Thank you, gentlemen for all the thoughts and prayers. We're ok, but we have many friends, business associates, etc. that still have no way of communication, and we haven't heard from them in over 72 hours! The Asheville/Waynesville NC area is washed away in some places. Many of these people have lost everything and have no home, water or food since late Thursday early Friday. Pray the Red Cross and other Philanthropist organizations get to these folks ASAP!

CS, my prayers go out to you and your family and friends. I have seen a lot of destruction in my life, but nothing like what has happened in Western North Carolina. I am praying that the dam at Lake Lure does not break. Stay safe.
 
Glad you gentlemen and your immediate families are safe. Its terribly saddening what has happened to a beautiful region of the country. We'll be praying for you all and I plan to donate a little money once I realize the best route to do so.

Not to jump to politics too much, but from what I can tell the Federal response is mostly crickets. We already know that the Biden / Harris regime is overwhelming people that despise White, conservative, Christians and the areas affected mostly fall into that category. I truly believe many of these demonic people are even happy. At worse, they are indifferent and want to continue sending all of our tax money to Israel, Ukraine and migrants who have invaded our country. Sickening.

Do you have a recommended organization that I should donate to or I want to help out.
 
Absolutely horrific what's happening down South, mainly in western North Carolina. The suffering is great and the people are getting no help from the fedgov. Oh, Kamala is giving them $750, what a joke.

FEMA supposedly has no money, being too busy spending it on moving illegals around the country, putting them in luxury hotels, providing them with phones and X-Boxes, etc. Guess the bottomless printing press can't be used in this case.

This is exactly what happened to the people of East Palestine, Ohio. Gee, what do they have in common with the hurricane victims in Appalachia? Elon Musk tries to give them internet access and all he gets from the regime is hate instead of thanks. This regime truly despises the people who built and still mostly sustain this country. There's no sympathy for the victims from the government, from Hollywood, from the corporate media in general. "Hostile elites" doesn't begin to describe what we're facing.

I'm going to donate to the Red Cross. Wish I knew a more organic organization in the region to give to, but the Red Cross will do for now.
 
I've been following this story too. It's unbelievable that the authorities and federal government response is so pathetic. Reports are that law enforcement/feds are hampering citizens from trying to assist as well. Billions of funding for Ukraine, billions for Israel, billions to fund an illegal invasion of this country as taxpayers are footing the bill for their own replacement by a regime that despises them.

Sadly the masses remain apathetic. Plenty of videos on social media stating that the folks from the area were being punished because of slavery, people in the area being mocked by "liberals" because they are asking for the govt to assist because it's a "red" area. The left is truly deranged.

This government is so evil you simply can’t hate them enough. And they are stupid too. Ohio and North Carolina were swing states in recent elections. Guess they don’t think they need them or plan to cheat in such a widespread way that they don’t think these areas matter?

Leonardfan, I am safe and sound thanks for the prayers. I have a daughter who stays in Boone and a granddaughter who stays in Asheville. I heard from my daughter on Tues. night. She is safe, but very shaken. I have not talked to my granddaughter, but I was contacted by her mother that she is also safe but very scared of more rain. My daughter has not seen one single federal agency in Boone, no FEMA or Red Cross. This was Tues. so things might have changed by now. Limited cell phone service. Thanks, everyone.
 
If you have venmo and social media you can track down legitimate people doing work on their own. I have been donating that way.
 

Retired NASCAR driver Greg Biffle uses his private helicopter to rescue a Helene survivor in the NC mountains. There are so many other citizens using their helicopters and other resources to save these victims. It's amazing that these folks have risked their own lives and put off their own responsibilities to help save as many people as possible.
We can't thank these hero's enough for what they are doing!!

One of the top Democrat strategists stated that the wealthy Democrats in Asheville will still vote for Harris. He also stated that the rural folks debated by this will not be able to and it will ensure NC goes blue. He seemed happy.

There is not depth to the evil of the left. It is almost incomprehensible how evil they are.

And they are being theatened with arrest by FEMA and police for helping, while they sit with their thumbs up their asses. Sickening.

That was former Obama advisor David Axelrod. He called them "UPSCALE." I guess there's no "UPSCALE" conservative Republicans in those large,10,000 square feet and larger rural mountain homes. LOL. Liberals always thinking about votes instead of the people.

We're sending a group of men from our church up there with chainsaws, backhoes and other equipment on Friday. I'll try and find out if they get any resistance.
