I actually think it's not smart for him to keep his mouth shut for the below reasons.
1) he currently has a contract that gives him some financial security and he only has a certain amount of prime years.
2) other races generally don't respect the quiet, go along to get alone, White dude.
Being an unselfish team player would be great if the nfl and raiders locker room culture was still white but since it’s a black culture having a me-first attitude is a must. It’s like prison culture- being meek is a sign of weakness!

The NFL trade deadline is quickly approaching -- Oct. 31st -- so we'll know soon whether Renfrow is traded or has to finish the season unused on the Raiders bench. Maybe I'm a little more optimistic than usual today, but there's so many teams that need receiving help that one may decide to pay part of his salary to acquire him cheaply. Given all the annual busts at WR, it's obvious the black talent pool at that glamor position has shrunk as much as it has at every other position.

Mike Williams of the Chargers has been very inconsistent but generally puts up good numbers over the course of a season, but was lost for 2023 early on with a torn ACL. Rookie Quentin Johnston was taken by the Chargers in the first round this year and -- as Gomer Pyle used to say, surprise, surprise! -- already looks like a bust (https://boltbeat.com/posts/chargers-fans-quentin-johnston-bust-watch). With Brandon Staley (understandably) on the hot seat, they could desperately use a receiver of Renfrow's proven skills. Other teams are in the same position.

This article sums up the Chargers' need for Renfrow: https://boltbeat.com/posts/nfl-rumors-hunter-renfrow-chargers-raiders

I agree on the Chargers. Hope it happens. I could see Justin Herbert really building a nice chemistry with Renfrow over the 2nd half of
the season. With San Diego always around a 500 Team for a long time now they need to take some chances to improve their team and
especially on the offensive side of the ball.

Since Travis and Taylor are all the rage here in Kansas City, I thought I would continue my glassy-eyed browsing of TMZ and similar sites to see if perhaps Hunter Renfrow could be found in salicious photographs with McDaniels' wife or something. Not a thing comes up.

When McDaniels was the head coach of the Broncos, there were rumors that Peyton Hillis was having an affair with his wife, so poorly and inexplicably did McDaniels treat Hillis upon taking over the team following Hillis conclusively showing that he had star talent as a rookie after five, or was it six, black RBs fell one by one to injury leaving only the sixth round rookie "fullback" to run the ball. And I'm not talking about rumors planted by CFers but by Broncos fans mystified by the actions of the loser running the team.

I chimed in my opinion. He needs to start making noise or else shut up and be a good boy on the bench rest of the season. Another of our guys being treated in an inexplicable way but he needs to call it out publicly. Or get on his agent to do it for him.

I recall that situation and immediately thought it crazy. No, McDaniels is just that much of a caste cuck. He gets in charge and he demotes the stud white running back and then a decade later gets another chance and immediately demotes the stud white slot receiver. Can’t have the spotlight taken off the fragile black egos.

Agree completely. Hopefully may end up at the Patriots seen some talk linking him to them but maybe just the Weller Amendola Edelman Hogan legacy.

Much needed change of scenery. I’ll throw out Tampa as a destination I’d like to see him at!

If there's no market for Renfrow that'll be the biggest screw job of all.

Hoping Hunter Renfrow lands on his feet on some roster. The guy is one of the best slot receivers in the game when they actually throw him the ball. Not sure why they turned on him like they did but a new team can do wonders for his confidence! Good luck to Hunter Renfow!

He’s only 28. I have no idea what happened the last 2 years, but I’m glad he will get a fresh start.

Here is a guy who could readily be a top WR and surpass 1k yards again if given the opportunity. What is odd is white players have been “accepted” in the slot position and his being screwed over by Las Vegas makes it especially egregious.

It wouldn't surprise me if the Saints are looking hard at Hunter. They were in trade talks with Raiders last year before the deadline.

I guess Hunter's fallen off the face of the earth.

This is the latest I could find on Hunter. I still don't understand why Trevor Lawrence has not tried to get the Jags to pick him up. They need help at the WR spot.

I personally would prefer he goes to the Vikings. They treated Thielen well for most of his career. Maybe Renfrow could get the same type
of respect. He would also be another fan favorite up there.

Long-time Bengals slot receiver Tyler Boyd signed with the Titans today. It was expected that he wouldn't be re-signed by Cincy. This article mentions five possible replacements for Boyd, beginning with Renfrow and then Trenton Irwin, Charlie Jones and Mike Gesicki are mentioned. Four of the five are overachievers, I'd like to see Charlie Jones get the job but also of course want to see Renfrow thrive again somewhere. This article states that Renfrow "hasn't lived up to expectations" since his big 2021 season, but how could he when Josh McA-hole was more interested in adding another White scalp to his headdress than playing his All Pro receiver?

Renfrow seems to be a target for many team fanbases and commentators. With the Rashee Rice problems and likely (long) suspension, KC Chiefs pundits are banging the drum to bring in Renfrow. I don't really think that it's lack of interest that is delaying him signing somewhere, I think that it's his decision based on going to the right situation and the right $$ amount. Besides that, the KC radio guys today said that they wanted to corner the market on athletes named Hunter Renfroe (Renfrow). :)

You're more optimistic about Renfrow than I am. Any team could have traded for him last year for essentially nothing (maybe a conditional 7th round draft pick at most), but no one did. And again this year there's no interest in him. I'm sure Renfrow would renegotiate his contract down dramatically rather than see his career end so it's hard to imagine that being a sticking point. McDaniels did quite the number on him, maybe enough for him to be permanently caste aside. As always hope I'm wrong.

Saints predicted to sign top remaining free agent WR amid depth questions

Bleacher Report predicts that Renfrow, who has familiarity with Carr from their days in the silver and black. Renfrow has seen his value tank over the last few seasons due to Josh McDaniels not using him properly, and the Saints could be a spot where he revitalizes his career.

Saints urged to sign free agent WR Hunter Renfrow

Renfrow was a solid contributor in his first two seasons with the Raiders, but 2021 is when he truly shot up into the stratosphere as a player. After catching 103 passes for 1,038 yards and nine touchdowns, Josh McDaniels undid all the good work Jon Gruden had accomplished with Renfrow.

Despite past success with similar players like Julian Edelman, McDaniels essentially put Renfrow on the second team and rarely got him snaps. Unless the rest of the league believes he is completely washed, a team like New Orleans could benefit from his veteran savvy.

Olave is a fantastic receiver, but he's not good enough to carry the load of an entire corps by himself. Shaheed is a solid role player, but likely not a high-end WR2 in the NFL. Means is a Day 3 rookie, Perry has been up-and-down, and St. Brown has never caught more than 21 passes in a season.

Renfrow won't take the Saints' passing game from good to great, but he will bring some much-needed baseline competence to the offense. In a wide-open NFC South, a move like this might be the difference between winning an extra game and falling flat on your face
.

Hunter Renfrow ends up with former Raiders teammate in latest free agent prediction

There's a little over two weeks left before the regular season kicks off, and old friend Hunter Renfrow is still looking for a job. Renfrow's time in Las Vegas ended ... suddenly? After looking like a core piece of the team only a few years ago, the wide receiver's last season (25 catches, 255 yards, 0 touchdowns) was enough to get the Raiders to move on from a guy that, only two years earlier, had over 1,000 receiving yards.

That's life in the NFL, though, and fortunately for Renfrow, Bleacher Report is on the case. Maybe he should hire them as his agent. In their latest round up of Hey, Maybe This Could Happen!, B/R sends Renfrow to the NFC South to reunite with his former quarterback. How cute!

"Hunter Renfrow has been on the market since the Las Vegas Raiders released him in the spring. The 28-year-old slot specialist is coming off of a couple of down seasons, but some team is likely to take a flier on him in 2024 ... Renfrow would be a logical addition for a couple of teams. The New Orleans Saints could look to reunite him with former Raiders quarterback Derek Carr, and they lack proven receiver depth behind Chris Olave and Rashid Shaheed."

"Slot specialist" isn't wrong, but oof, it stings a little. Also "coming off a couple of down seasons" is certainly one way to put it. Although I'm sure for a specific group of Raiders fans who were especially dialed in during the late 2010's, seeing Carr throw to Renfrow in Black and Gold is almost as good as seeing Carr throw to Renfrow in Black and Silver.

If the Steelers don't land Aiyuk they could desperately use Renfrow. They currently have nothing after George Pickens, and he's a prima donna with "character issues" who has yet to prove he can be a number one receiver, esp. with so little depth around him. But that would entail Mike Tomlin giving regular snaps to a White receiver, something he's never done.

In fact a lot of teams could use Renfrow. His screwing by the despicable McDaniels followed by his ongoing exile from the NFL is one of the most blatant current examples of the Caste System.
