I've been trying to keep track of any good news coming out of Spring practices. A lot of schools just don't post much information on their official sites, and I don't know all the best fan forums for each team.
East Carolina, however, is one team that posts reports for each practice as well as video interviews.
If Hunter transferred away from UNC because he "just wanted an opportunity to play" as he says in the above article, then he went to the wrong school.
Despite being both the largest and fastest running back on the team, Hunter is not taking snaps at #1, #2, or #3. In fact, he didn't get a single carry in their first Spring scrimmage game last Saturday.

I'd hate to say it but his career is over.

Both Hawkeye2 and Riddlewire predicted this; as much as I hate to admit it, they were 100% correct! It's official Hunter Furr's football career is over. I've been looking for news on him for a while because I didn't see him on ECU's roster for his Transfer-Sr. season. I finally found this article: Look down at the last paragraph under subtractions, it seems as though he's giving his track career another shot. I hope he finds success there.

Id say Hunter Furr goes down as a top ten caste screw over. That young man was amazing. I wonder if he knows that if he was black his treatment would have been much better.

Looks like the fix is in this year as well, they played Dominion and won but Hunter Furr got no time and no carries.

Their offense (ECU) was anemic to boot.

One of the biggest screw jobs in NCAA football ever. This kid is one of the fastest kids in America, and there is not a place on the field for him anywhere? BYU mightve been decent for him or a MAC school but shouldve been ironed out prior to signing, WILL YOU PLAY A WHITE TAILBACK WHO is the most talented, fastest and strongest in your stable of backs?
Yes or No?

I dont think all coaches are stupid, but its a club/Fraternity and Freemasonry is rampant.

Theyd (Coaches) rather lose with blacks than win with whites, and their coaching careers will always be salvaged, they land on their feet after getting Sh*tcanned...always.
