This guy is gifted gifted gifted, everyone knows what I think of Hughie after my post in the other thread.

The only problem he will face at the big stage is that his persona is the dullest of any fight i've ever witnessed, I really like the kid and he's a nice guy, but unlike Tyson who may not be the smartest, but is witty and sharp, Hughie almost seems borderline retarded

Overall a bad day in boxing with the Fury loss, and Dmitry Kudryashov lost by KO to a Cuban fighter.

I thought Fury shaded the fight but it was close and he fought pretty negatively. It seemed like the week long rants of Parker's management team intimidated the judges as they gave him all of the close rounds on 2 scorecards. There is no way Parker won 10 rounds of the fight.

As for the future of the guys, even though he lost Fury should have a bright future because he can box at an elite level and should only get better with more strength and experience. Parker to me looks like he is skating on thin ice at the world championship level and should lose to any elite fighter at the world level as he looks very ordinary for a world champion and may go down in history as a trivia question about the first ethnic Somoan(with distant Irish ancestry) and first Kiwi champion since Ruby Robert.

I felt Fury won the fight but he honestly gave it away. There were times when he turned Parker inside out with his movement and left him square on but then wouldn't plant his feet.He should have done this. When a fighter moves better than the other guy and creates a blind spot they should throw big Lomochenko's a master at that.Prime Pacquio too.Fury's team are claiming it's a robbery but i don't think it was Hughie won by a couple of points but the champion deserves the benefit of doubt and Parker was on the front foot though a lot of his blows were hitting arms, elbows etc.

Fury had a paid sparring session against Samuel Peter, Peter looked like he was bringing a keg to a Lambda Lambda fraternity party. Even by the dirty standards of Peter he was extremely dirty and rabbit punched and threw low blows through out the fight. The referee would have been in his rights to run Peter.

Fury needs to step up against decent domestic level opposition in his next fight as two no hope opponents is enough to get back on track....
