Many message board DWFs are VERY ignorant and too lazy to simply look up stats or are incapable of accurately evaluating a white players superior performance compared to their black supermen. Here are some examples. The following is why I find it difficult to hang around long on these type of boards:

I think on Monday Night they listed him at 170. That's Dexter McCluster minus the homerun speed. No Thanks
Moron spews garbage about Woodhead
My take: This lame brain has no desire (or intelligence?) to look up the fact that McCluster ran a 4.58 at the NFL combine and Danny Woodhead ran a 4.33/4.38 at his Pro Day. Anyone care to inform this loser of his ignorance?
On footballsfuture (which is probably the biggest cultural Marxist thought policeman sports board on the web)- some Patriot DWFs were talking about the need to draft a RB- even with how Woody has played. Here are some comments:
briz("brain") wrote: i have no doubt the Pats will draft Ingram now. We got very lucky to win this game and we had no run game besides some wriggly squirmy runs by Woodhead that surprised them. It should not be this hard to win.
"McMoron" sort of stands up for Woodhead, by saying this, but would go on to insult Hillis later:
McMoron wrote: The Pats had 127 on 26 carries. You can't just dismiss the "wriggly squirmy runs" as well as the end-arounds (which you don't mention) because they don't fit your narrative. The Ravens have a pretty stout defense and the Pats were able to run well enough to win.
Green-Ellis didn't do much, but they didn't use him for almost 2 quarters when they were down 2 scores.
briz("brain") wrote: love woodhead but lets be realistic hes a 3rd down change of pace back and a great replacement for Faulk. He cannot carry the load he would get injured in a millisecond as a starting RB. We need a big bruising durable franchise powerback and thats pretty much Ingram. Todays game proved that to me, like i said we had no running game besides some reverses and so runs by woodhead that surprised the ravens. This was a playoff calibur team we played today and it took every ounce of our dink and dunk passing offense to pull out a win in overtime. It should not be like this, this is not how we should play, this is not how we won championships. We did it with the ground game and great defense.

I believe what you mean to say is that its obviously a position where improvement is possible. Need is not the word.
The Patriots have not at all required greatness at the running back position over the years for a successful offense. As completely mundane and unimpressive as Lawfirm is he's able to fulfill the role we have for him adequately.
Tizimisce wrote: Power runners like LawFirm don't generally do well against the Ravens front 7 anyway. Peyton Hillis was an exception obviously, but he's generally a monster.
Then McMoron writes:
9-41-1
8-35-1
22-144-1
27-102-1
10-28-0
12-41-0
He's had one really good game as a full time back (vs. Baltimore) and a bunch of limited use and/or mediocre games. Hillis is hardly a monster, if anything he is becoming one of the most overrated backs in the league.

My take: Woodhead leads the league in YPC for RBs with over 20 carries. How is that not greatness idiot! Why would Woodhead get injured, but Jones-Drew and Barry Sanders hold up- they are all basically the same size and Woodhead's moves are better than Jones-Drew and almost on par with Sanders. On Hillis that's a lie- He plays in the toughest division to run in- in the NFL and even had an above average YPC against the best rushing defense in the league in Pittsburgh with an injured quad muscle. His YPC of 4.4 is above the league average of 4 YPC. Both these guys are among the better receiving tailbacks in the league I'd say.
Now take a look at the inability to analyze the brilliance of Nile Knapp- who had the best highlight tape in all of H.S football last year- from Scout.com:
Nile Knapp detractors
More Garbage about Nile Knapp
My take: Get real, Nile Knapp has MUCH better moves and highlights than Tony Zenon (who played one level up from Knapp in the GISA). Knapp had poor blocking, but consistently made big plays with virtually nothing there. Knapp has better measuruables overall than Zenon (other than 3rd gear/ long speed- Knapp is above Zenon in every athletic measurement). Knapp had overall better production. Yeah, but you can guess who got the scholarship to Georgia Tech from black power Paul Johnson.
Bottom line guys- is we need to sign up for these sites and argue just as I did in the "my takes" without the name calling of course!
