Homosexual Athletes

The system desperately wants a professional athlete to become "openly gay." The media regularly comes back to its invented "issue" of homosexual athletes, as this poll on attitudes toward "openly gay" athletes prominently featured today on ESPN's website illustrates:

http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/news/story?id=2035653

That's just what we need. Non-stop sympathetic coverage of a homosexual athlete (he'll probably be white) added to the endless media overhyping and glorifying of black athletes. It's a pretty safe bet that the "new era" of an "openly gay" athlete isn't far away. The media will have a field day with it.

I'm a little old fashioned on this subject, but I don't understand the fascination with these people. For the past 10 years it's been shoved down our throats. If you watch any television today there will be a homosexual character. I see it as subliminal propaganda being fed to our society by homosexual writers, and producers. Seriously, what's going on with our society? This sort of decadence has no right in our supposed high morals in America. It certainly shouldn't be glorified as some great feat. If you want to be homosexual go to Holland they obviously have no problem with it.Edited by: Bear-Arms

What's going on with our society is that we are getting away from our historical roots as a nation and its starting to show. This is but one manifestation of it. It is part of the agenda that wants to destroy the family, the sanctity of life, religious freedom, and many forms of politically incorrect personal freedom. I don't see it letting up anytime soon. I see is as a punishment for a nation that has turned its back on God. Take my opinion as you will, I'm just saying whats on my mind.

I remember a news item in 1975 that got a lot of play, for about a week. Supposedly, two NFL starting QBs were gay. No names were mentioned, and the story faded away.

There was a well-known NFL QB of the1960's and early70's who was a subject of homosexual rumors. I saw this mentioned in a story about this player in a football magazine once. About 15 years ago, I happened to see him interviewed by Roy Firestone on ESPN, and he discussed the subject. "It hurt me and my family," he said. This famous QB always strongly denied the rumors. I'm not going to mention his name, but old-line NFL fansmay know who I'm talking about. This man was a very physically tough QB.

There have been several who "came out" but not until their careers were over. There was Glenn Burke, an obscure black outfielder who played I believe in the '70s; Dave Kopec (sp?), a running back for the Redskins who played back in that long ago time when whites were allowed to run the ball; and the Samoan lineman for the Vikings whose name I can't recall right now. Alan Wiggins, former outfielder for the Orioles, died of AIDS some years back but may have contracted it through a dirty needle. Arthur Ashe may have been homosexual, but don't recall him ever claiming to be. The media (and more and moreD.C.) are dominated by homosexuals and theywant an athlete or two to "come out" while still playing as they will have a nonstop ideological feast/morality tale to publicize.

Don,

The player you mean was Dave Kopay, who played for several teams in the 1960's. He was a journeyman running back for the 49ers, Lions, Redskins, and Packers. He wrote a book in the mid-70s that was well received by the press at the time.

Long-time Redskin TE, Jerry Smith, died of Aids. He was a well-known player, though somewhat overshadowed by Charlie Taylor and Roy Jefferson. Smith played TE at around 210 pounds and caught a lot of passes. When he contracted Aids, he "came out." Jerry Smith was likely the best athlete who has "come out" so far.

I agree with you don that the next homeosexual athlete that comes out and gets promoted by the pc media will probably be white. the one good thing i can say about the black community is there is still some genuine shame and ostracism held out against gay blacks in their culture. i am not promoting violence or hatred of gays but if there were a little more shame in our society against such deviant behavior, maybe there would be less gays out of the closet or even in the closet in the first place. homosexuality and child sacrifice is what led to the fall of the great roman empire. same thing we are doing with homosexuality and abortion. could the end be near?

The lead story in the current Nationalist Times (April '05 issue) is about the power of the "Gay Mafia" in Washington D.C.

Carl Lewis is obviously, and it appears now, openly gay, yet I hear little mention of it in the press. I wonder why?

Also there are a lot of gay women athletes that are out. Martina Natrilova (sp) the french woman tennis player Amelie whatever, several golfers, and WNBA basketball players. I guess it is OK to be a lesbian and "out".

In fact (this is off topic) I think society is much more forgiving to openly gay women then men, probably because men are turned on by it. I have noticed gay women becoming more and more affectionate in public because of this. At the airport recently I saw two woman kissing while waiting for their plane (it was kinda hot so how could I complain??), however if I would've been with my kids I would be pissed because how do you explain that crap to kids? I have never seen gay men act like that in public but I'm sure it's coming.

Lesbianism was almost unheard of in "mainstream" porn (Playboy, Penthouse, etc.) until about 30 years ago when it made its first rather demure appearances. Now,a huge proportion ofporn is oriented toward showing women acting in a homosexual manner.

Making it almost mandatory that explicit depictions of women's sexuality be shown in homosexual and bisexual ways is a powerfulweapon inthe system's gender warfare as it encourages girls and young women to consider lesbianism and bisexuality as healthy and normal, even preferrable to a monogamous relationship with a man, yet another reason to live a life either free of men orin a dominant position overthem. Though I realize this argument is well beyond the capacity of most white "males" to understand, as debased as they have become, trained to react only one way to girl on girl sex.

On a lighter note, very few lesbians resemble the actresses in porn. Was reading an article on the LPGA's search for a new commissioner and how it may be a woman for the first time. The piece, by Adam Candee [sic] of the Las Vegas Sun, contains this gem:

"[Outgoing LPGA Commissioner Ty] Votaw grabbed attention among players with his 'Five Points of Celebrity' initiative. While the most-debated aspect was his encouragement for players to maintain a good appearance. . ."

What was "debatable" about that? Did the LPGA's rather sizeable contingent of mannish types object to bathing? Or maybe theywere opposedto having to shave their beards every day!

What the media is really interested in is a gay man in either the
NFL, MLB, and NBA. In individual sports like tennis and golf,
there isn't the whole teammate aspect of it, or potentially
violent contact with opposing players. Furthermore, it would be
more intriguing to the media if it's a sport that's overtly
"masculine" and aggressive, like the above three, or maybe
boxing or hockey.

Kaz Matsui supposedly performed in gay porn in Japan (even
though he claimed that he's straight.) I haven't heard of him
having any problems. Maybe if he were American it would've
been a bigger deal.

Though I realize this argument is well beyond the capacity of
most white "males" to understand, as debased as they have
become, trained to react only one way to girl on girl sex.

It's so universally a turn-on for men nowadays that sometimes I
actually feel weird for not digging it. It's not that I hate it, I just
don't find it particularly captivating.

On a lighter note, very few lesbians resemble the actresses
in porn.

True! There was a hilarious Saturday Night Live skit years ago
where this group of guys made a wish to see two lesbians
make out, and when they got their wish they were unpleasantly
surprised....

I agree that white culture accepts homosexuality to a larger extent than black culture. I also agree that we are becoming the second roman empire, and the fall is not far off. Actually, I think it started some time ago.

I think the hope among the gay agenda is that an athlete in a perennial
'man's sport' coming out will help erase the stereotype that gays are
effiminate and weak. However, I think the opposite will occur,
which on second thought may be a secondary goal as well - the further
feminization and castration of the white male athlete, and white males
in general.

Those are good and I think valid observations White Shogun. I think there is definitely a dual agenda.

ESPN.com is hosting a front page story about Andrew Goldstein, a Dartmouth lacrosse player and openly-gay athlete.

From the article:

"But Andrew Goldstein, according to those who document these things, is
the most accomplished male, team-sport athlete in North America to be
openly gay during his playing career."

Not quite football or hockey, but they're getting closer and apparently
working overtime to find the gay, tough-guy team athlete to use
as their poster child.
