High Schoolers

Cooper Lutkenhaus just ran 1:42.27 at the US Championships to take 2nd, and make the World Championships!!
The kid is 16 years old, and just finished his sophomore year in high school!
His time is a World Under-18 record, and is now the 4th fastest American ever!!
Guys, this is a superstar!!

Here's a long interview with the incredible high school runner, Cooper Lutkenhaus.

How about this kid, 15 year old Bronson Hearn Smith from England?!
He has a best time of 10.65, and he runs so effortlessly. It looks like he is not even trying.

Instagram is reporting that 15 year old Bronson Hearn Smith ran a 20.90 200 meters.
If that's true, he would rank #1 U18 in Europe!

Wyatt Lee from Canada is only 17 and has been running 10.3s and 10.4s all year. His pb is 10.34 +0.8 and he also has a windy 10.18. One to keep an eye on for the future. Always nice to see some white sprinters out of Canada.

The fastest high school kid in Canadian History! You gotta love it. With one year of high school left let's hope he can get some wind legal
10.20's for his senior year of high school. I can't recall a famous white male sprinter from Canada in a very long time. Good to see!

The best thing about Wyatt Lee is that he isn’t a 10.7 sprinter who had a one off performance. He’s a consistent 10.3/10.4 sprinter. Here’s his 100m times this year.

Gatlin Bair who is on a Morman Mission for 2 years will be back in school at Oregon for his freshman year in the fall of 2026. He is on a
football scholarship but I'm almost positive he will also run track. This kid will be the fastest player in college football in 2026 as he already
has run wind legal times of 10.15 multiple times wind legal. I can't wait to see him on the football field & especially on the track breaking
records again! He is one of the fastest high school kids ever in America. One to keep a close eye on!

This is not a high schooler, but an 11 year old Australian girl, Harlow Storm Pate, who is breaking age group records Down Under.
I hope you can see this.

A 11 year old girl who can run a 55.58 has world level potential if not medal contender potential. She probably could make the open national final in Australia with that time.

I did notice she was very lean and had some breast development so maybe she is an early developer but beyond that if she doesn't have mental or physical burnout she will be a blue chip prospect.

long strides for an 11 year old. Abby Steiner, Hannah Cunliffe, Mary Beth Sant were burners at this age as well and kept progressing to National levels although Cunliffe went to the dark side and ruined her career. So hopefully her handlers will keep her in check and let her progress naturally.

Harlow Pate became the world 10 year old 300m record holder back in February. Hope she remains focused and is led correctly.
There is a very good club down in Wollongong NSW where she lives - masters athletes in that club who are world class or even WR holders (Marie Kay, pentathlon WRs etc) so lots of impetus and encouragement
