Heisman Trophy now a "Golden Ticket" for QB's?

The NFL draft industry did a few year build up of hype around Ward as @Truthteller laid out. The machine does it's best to churn up consensus opinions from various "experts" to artificially pump up magical QBs.

@footballenthusiast post from last year was spot on so I won't both repeating anything.

I see Michigan State has benched Heisman candidate Aidan Chiles. I guess his "Heisman Hopes" are out the window, for this year, at least.

But, white cuck's, don't fret. According to two NFL Draft Analyst's, Chiles is sort of a "Generational Talent", I suppose?

They have "studied" his tape and come to the conclusion he's special. One '"Draft Analyst" has him going 12th overall, in his 7th round mock draft. The other "Draft Analyst" has Chiles going 5th overall, eventually o_O:oops::rolleyes::ARMS1::bandit:

Don't worry as Chiles is beginning to get hype from the ESPN college beat writers. Zero mention of Kelly's offensive system which has produced a bust in Marcus Mariota and not much else in the NFL, in fact Kelly's QB track record in QB development stinks. I give Will Howard a pass since he was a one year transfer and played most of his career at KSU.

Regarding McCord - he should absolutely get a chance. Just like Ewers he was caste aside during the draft in 2025 despite back to back years of being a very good QB at two different schools. It's laughable McCord isn't being prepped to get more playing time at this point in the Dolphins season. You are right though as the next black savior is already playing in Miami and will probably be the Dolphins pick next year.

Leo, went back and checked out footballenthusiast's post (#6) in this thread and it's spot on. Too bad he hasn't posted in a while; hope he returns soon. Based on his breakdown, almost seems like he's football insider (media, team employee) posting anonymously, then abruptly leaving the site to retain his "cover". His insight was that good in a lot of posts.

Great point about McCord's replacement already being in Miami. If it's not the Miami QB, then it will be the QB from Ole Miss, or whoever the hype machine turns out nearing draft day? That's probably one the reasons the Dolphins refuse to bench Willis, in addition to him being guaranteed $45 million. They don't want to take any chances with McCord doing well and winning over some fans.

As far as Chiles is concerned, his season at Northwestern will wipe away his tainted time at Michigan State, in which he looked absolutely undraftable. With help from ESPN and Faux Sports he could climb up the charts significantly.

I like Troy Aikman, but he was cucking for Daniels. Basically blaming it on coaches for the obvious blunder.

"I just think there's a lot of quarterbacks come into the league, and they really haven't been trained as to how then you close out a game and win. :sisigay:

This is what happens when you "water down" the position. No notable White making millions in the media, for obvious reasons, will touch it with 1,000 foot pole. But LeSean McCoy had a much better take on this. I bet, if you give Aikman "truth serum", his take would be almost 100% the similar to Shady's

Very informative information TT. Thanks. I really like how Polian describes the evaluation process. It’s becoming obvious that almost zero “draft experts” even try to look through this lense and the majority of modern GMs / coaches are clueless to this approach as well.
I remember when Nolan Nowrocki criticized Cam Newton by stating what he was "selfish" and me first and Smith and other experts with agendas went after him and dog whistled accusations of racism against Nowrocki that basically ruined him in the industry and forced a premature retirement from the industry.

It's potentially dangerous for any commentator to push back against certain sacred cows. This was a decade ago if Nowrocki had stuck it out in the 2020's he probably would have a podcast with catchy name and would still be in the industry but back then it was dust off the resume at Kinko's and hit the streets looking for work.

Good memory W.I.R. I had forgotten about Nowrocki. Here's an in-depth article detailing how he became the NFL's Most Infamous Scout. He became "infamous" for being critical of black quarterback prospects. He did, eventually, land a job with an NFL team, but briefly.

Nolan Nawrocki worked for the Raiders for about 2 years and 7 months (from July 2019 to February 2022)

16 (plus) years ago, and I still remember this hysterical CF post: I hope Jaworski eats a rotten egg and is on the thrown for days, urinating out of his rectum :risas3::risas3::risas3:

Needless to say, Jaws wasn't very popular here at CF, as he was pretty harsh on White players. But when Jaws started (mildly) criticizing Jameis Winston it did not take long for ESPN to let him go. As I mentioned in this thread (post #10), he also went after Kiper for overrating slug Andre Woodson. Message has gone out loud and clear to Dan O., and others at ESPN, don't speak ill of black quarterback prospects.

One exception might be Mad Dog Russo. He "punked" a few black QB's last week, claiming they were not that good and it was all "kosher". But he did receive a long, evil stare from some heavy set, black NFL "insider" female on the set :smiley_1140:
