You know, I remember a time not too long ago, let's say 2007-2010, when many American boxing fans and boxing "experts" were saying Chad Dawson was a top 3 pound for pound fighter. Many American boxing fans thought that Chad Dawson was the best American boxer other than Mayweather Jr. In fact, some people, a minority of people, even felt Dawson was the number 1 pound for pound fighter in the world.

I'm not even joking about that. Many American boxing fans and writers literally were saying he was a top 3 pound for pound fighter (RING magazine, if my memory is correct, also had him as #3 or #4 pound for pound), and had Dawson rated above guys like Klitschko Brothers, Kessler, Froch, Abraham, etc. Today, all of those guys are still around, and much more successful than Dawson.

Fast forward to 2013, Dawson has suffered back to back KO losses, and we can see how totally wrong these biased, wigger Americans were. Rating Dawson top 3 pound for pound is a god damn joke and always was. Dawson's recent form and suffering back to back losses (including being KO'd in one round by an unknown fighter) speaks volumes about how inappropriately, insanely, and utterly incorrectly American sports media and fans overrate their own Negro athletes.

The same way they were hyping up Jeff Lacy and saying he was unbeatable until Joe Calzaghe put on maybe the best boxing clinic I have ever seen. Dawson is better than Lacy but he's still grossly over rated. He did beat Tomasz Adamek at light heavyweight but Adamek put him down in the late rounds and if he stayed on him would have had a KO win.

Dawson was knocked out by that super-middleweight whiffer, powder-puff puncher Ward. Anyone light-heavyweight who can manage to get himself knocked out by Ward must have warts on his arse.

Adonis "Superman" Stevenson after koing the overrated Chad Dawson was getting the HBO superstar push. While looking devastating in the win he has a terrible loss to a journeyman club fighter early in his career.

The hype on Stevenson is a good thing. It inflates his self-perception. Makes him feel more powerful than he is. Now he'll start thinking he can beat anyone and will take on all comers. Wait till he faces Kovalev. He'll fall like a brick thrown out of 10 story window. But, damn, Bellew might get to him before Kovalev can...

Not to go man crush ala Tough J Riggins, but I always like Chad Dawson, in demeanor and technical boxing skills. But he suffered from terrible judgement in going down to 168 lbs and got ruined by Ward. Sorta like Roy Jones. Then picks a fighter with serious power he thought he could dominate. Now is career is in tatters.

Stevenson?...Just a one hit wonder that the MSM boxing media can get a hard on for, ala Tyson before his ass is busted by a fighter such as Kovalev. Cant wait for that to happen. When it does, it will be Caste match up of epic portions.

Another thing. Stevenson is a degenerate of the highest order. Convicted and imprisoned for aiding and abetting in the sex slave industry in Cananda. No doubt some dumb white hos involved.

Watching the replay, this fool sounds retarded. Can't wait till his ass is pounded by a fighter who is not ruined and knows how to deal with the MSM newest negro wonder.

Great comments you make here and fully agree with your point!

Joe Calzaghe's win over Jeff Lacy is absolutely legendary! Quite possibly the best boxing clinic I've ever seen as well. Just total domination. I remember that fight when it happened (btw, I'm happy to say even back then in 2006 I picked Joe C to win)! Jeff Lacy was a betting favourite, was an American champion, and had looked amazing in knocking out guys in the US. Joe Calzaghe totally dominated him in the most emphatic fashion.

Yes indeed! That was one of the most amazing performances is boxing history. Joe absolutely ruined Lacy that night. I remember the build up to that fight Lacy was oozing confidence, and by the 3rd round that was all gone. He looked like a whipped black pup, and he knew he was in there with his alpha male. Lacys corner should have thrown in the towel by the 8th.

To me this was the one fight that shattered affeletic superiority myth in the weights below the heavyweights. I remember all the media in code were saying that Lacy's blackness and just showing up would beat a cowering Super Joe.

Then on the day of the weigh in Joe's confidence was off the charts. Smiling, laughing and getting in Lacy's face. At that point Lacy's knew something in his world was not right. After the 3rd rd, his feelings were confirmed. Super Joe destroyed and ruined a good B+ fighter.

The same thing happened to Bopkins, Bopkins thought his sh*t talking and blackness could intimidate Joe. Joe, at their weigh in just smile and ramed his nose into bopkin's clown face. Later, bopkins had to eat his crow line "i will never let a White boy beat me." LOL

Old man Popkins still thinks he won the fight against Calzaghe. He said it in the press conference afterwards and would never, ever admit he lost the fight. His complete lack of respect for Calzaghe will never change. He even tried to say Kessler is a nobody. Also, according to the racist Adelaide Byrd he won the fight.

Looks like the IBF is ordering Popkins to face Kovalev. The black racist will get out of it somehow. The morons on Fightnews think Adonis Stevens is more of a threat than Kovalev.

[h=1]IBF orders Hopkins to fight Kovalev[/h]Earlier today, the IBF ordered Light Heavyweight Champion Bernard Hopkins to make his next title defense against newly-crowned #1 contender Sergey “Krusherâ€￾ Kovalev of Russia. On Friday, Kovalev scored his 9th impressive knockout in a row with a third round demolition of Houston’s Cornelius White on the NBC Sports Network’s critically acclaimed Fight Night series. “When the IBF issued today’s letter, ordering Hopkins to fight Kovalev next, without granting any exceptions to Hopkins in the interim, everything changed,â€￾ promoter Kathy Duva of Main Events, said. “Kovalev has many opportunities, now. We are going to take a few days to evaluate and then decide upon the next move. Of course, Sergey would be thrilled to face Hopkins if Bernard wants the fight.â€￾
Kovalev is surely ready, willing and able to fight Hopkins. “I want to fight Bernard Hopkins because he is a legend of boxing,â€￾ Kovalev said after knocking out White. “It was good news that Hopkins and Karo Murat fell out. C’mon and fight. I’m ready. Are you ready?â€￾

thats crazy, with Hopkins weird fighting style of getting tangled up with people, that was the first fight I saw him lose where I could definitely say he lost. The other fights I have seen of him, its hard to tell because if his style, they all seemed close. Calzaghe adjusted after a few rounds and Hopkins didn't have a chance.

I scored Broner-Malignaggi a draw. After the fight, Broner says in the post-fight interview:

"I took his title and I took his girlfriend"

Very poor sportsmanship. I wish Broner would fight Matthysse so we could see him get KOed, but it will never happen.

Yes you stay classy Adrian Broner. He showed his flaws which are lack of activity and his defense being only a high guard but virtually no head movement or trunk rotation to avoid shots. If Paulie Walnuts had a punch he probably easily wins this fight. On a side not Seth Mitchell is an accident waiting to happen and isn't a safe bet to beat any fighter willing to trade punches with him as any time light punching Banks connected Mitchell's legs looked the proverbial Saturday night drunk hitting the street looking to hail a cab...:icon_mrgreen:

Bernard Hopkins claims that he controlled the pace of his bout with Joe Calzaghe.

I agree.

He controlled five minutes of the fight. The five minutes where he pretended to take a nut-shot so that both Joe and the ref could take pity on him and give him some time to grow a pair of testicles and admit that on that evening, Joe simply outclassed him.

I love how Joe mocked Hopkins during the fight. He knew Bernard was a JOKE.

Watched the Malignaggi/Boner fight and have to say I scored it 115-113 for Broner...however...Malignaggi has no power (7kos in 32 wins) and he exposed Broner big time at the welterweight level. Broner has no power at welterweight and doesn't move his head AT ALL! Any welterweight with power is gonna rock him and give him a taste of the canvas. Only a matter of time till this crap talking negro gets a much deserved beating. Ricky Hatton beat on Paulie and stopped him, which Broner wasn't able to do. Broner has been fighting down in weight and has an inflated record. He will be dropped like yesterday's welfare check very soon, believe me! On another note, both Jonathan Banks and Seth Mitchell are not talented, explosive or athletic enough to ever challenge a Klitschko.

Anybody else notice that HBO is no longer discriminating against white boxers since Ross Greenberg and his assistant Kery Davis have left?

They would likely not have approved of showing Thomas Oosthuizen, Barker-Geale, Klitschko-Povetkin or Korobov-Cleverly.

Greenberg would have waited until Cleverly was well into his 30s and the Ring champion before allowing him on, like he did with Calzaghe.

Not an HBO fight but Welterweight Frankie Gavin won the biggest fight of his career against undefeated and hyped black opponent Denton Vassell[20-0].Gavin broke his jaw winning as a result by 7th rnd TKO.Gavin should be able to move onto world level after this win and would imo be the favourite over much hyped fighters like Kell Brook and Devon Peterson.

After being hyped on HBO for years as being a potential great fighter, Andre Berto was stopped last night on Showtime by journeyman Jesus Soto Karass for his third loss in the past few of years.

I remember Berto received a HBO payday of $1.7 million to fight some journeyman on HBO a few years ago. Thankfully, the racist Ross Greenberg who favored black boxers and discriminated against white fighters is no longer with HBO.

Looks like out of integrity for the sport, Yid-hoo sports, main boxing sports writer, has laid into Berto what CFers have been saying for over 2 years. That he feasted on on cab drivers and 4th tier fighters to build up his record. But at the same time making buco cash. Yes, HBO at the time incorrectly thought Berto would be the next Mayweather. Funny, now Showtime has scooped up some of these affelets that recently HBO has discarded. It seems that the Euros continue to make in roads into the lighter weights that once affelets dominated 10 years ago. The times keep on a changing. It the right direction!

Berto's right shoulder was hurt early it was obvious. The ringside doctor, not to mention Berto's corner, should never have let a one armed Berto continue.

Aside from that, Berto's already proven he isn't all that and a bag of chips. Fast hands but not much else really.

Seth Mitchell, managed by Al Haymon, was HBO's great black hope at heavyweight a couple of years ago, back when Ross Greenberg and Kery Davis were making the decisions regarding boxing.

Tonight, he fought a heavyweight both Vitali Klitschko and Tomasz Adamek have beaten: Chris Arreola. And he was completely destroyed in round one.

So much for the theory that negro football players would become great heavyweights if they chose boxing.

I believe the boxing world has seen the last of Seff Michell. He has a worse chin than Tommy Gunn and no boxing skills to survive a onslaught. I kinda wish he was a typical affelet, but I believe he is decent person. Nevertheless, the black dopes and DWFs are pillow munching getting hosed by reality.
