I watched about half around and was so disgusted with how crappy Firtha was (I think I could beat thim back in the day ) I had to find something else to do. Some dope on Eastside wrote that Wilder "put on a punching display." For his thirtieth fight? Very telling what they think of him. And must know about him.

The entire card was disgusting. Showtime has replaced HBO as the Al Haymon show.

Showtime mentioned Firtha being in great condition and how he runs marathons. His physique was embarrassing for someone who is supposed to be a professional fighter.

I watched the international feed and Dave Bontempo all but implied Wilder will get a rude awakening when he fights a legit top 10 fighter. Shoot this guy who is really a cannon fodder ESPN opponent bum rushed him and mildly stunned him in the first. Bontempo stated that he commits too much on his shots and leaves himself wide open for counters. Plus usually fighters with his frame can't take a punch. If you look at his upper body it's strong and developed but his legs are built like a giraffe. See Tommy Hearns when he got nailed by big punchers.

Showtime was the opposite. Could not get off Wilder's nuts. This network is a showcase for Al Haymon fighters now, just as HBO used to be. Al Bernstein complimented Firtha for being in condition, fat rolls and all. Al Haymon does pay off the judges, but it appears he even influences the announcers.

Deonday"Blackstar" Wilder claims he will fight a Klitschko in 2014. Once he fights someone that can punch he's a done deal. Blackstar won't know what hit him. He has a terrible chin as can be seen by how bum Harold Sconiers put him on his ass. That's why he hand picks these guys he fights, he knows he can't beat a puncher.

He has to go through Stiverne first. They will fight for the belt that Vitali will vacate. Pulling hard for Stiverne since he was willing to fight Vitali for the belt. Team Wilder just wants to take the easiest road to that belt. I have absolutely no respect for that. And of course, should Wlad get his hands on Wilder, Wilder will end up in the emergency room.

Watched the Wilder-Firtha fight and these are my observations: wilder is 29-0 with 29 KOs, so why is he fighting a guy who is 21-10? The announcers stated Wilder couldn't get a better opponent because of money issues. This stinks to high hell! He's obviously avoiding better fighters. Wilder is all offense...he got tagged multiple times by Firtha, who quite honestly looked like a very slightly above average pro. Any upper echelon fighter will be able to hurt Wilder. He's been floored in the amateurs and it will happen in the pros. Wilder stands flat footed and throws bombs...this won't work against upper echelon fighters. I won't say he's a horrible fighter because he isn't. That said, I think his handlers know he will taste the canvas eventually and probably want to make as much money on him as possible. If they thought he was capable of winning a title they would have got him an opportunity long ago.

It's time for them to cash out on Wilder and he goes straight for a title shot next year, if what his promoter says is true. They can't think with his horrible resume that he is in any way prepared for the better fighters. They must know this is the end of the line.

That fight was an embarrassment. Showtime has been brought down into the gutter by Al Haymon. This guy just runs whatever network his fighters are on, into the ground.

First of all, Wilder has done nothing to deserve a fight with either Klitschko. Secondly, Wilder will not fight either of them. I know that for a fact!

Team Wilder's plan the whole time has been to wait until Vitali retires, buying time by fighting one bum after another and then go for that belt against a lesser fighter which will be Stiverne. The WBA regular belt(when there is a "Super Champion) is probably worth as much as a prize out of a Cracker Jack box. Obviously with Scott posing with a bag of popcorn over his head ala Charlie Brown he was intimidated by Wilder. The rumour is that in sparring he was dropped and manhandled by Wilder. Vegas hosed Miadana. I had him winning by 2 points. One judge was not blind he called it even. The other 2 had Floyd up 4 and 6 rds. BS!!! Chino refined his jab and kept Floyd off balance most of the fight. He also busted up Floyd. Chino did not have a scratch. Chino, although he nailed Floyd throughout the fight, he could not nail him with a shot that would put Floyd down.

Chino when interviewed said that he would give Floyd a rematch and also insisted on his approved gloves, unlike tonight, they gave into Floyd's demands of wearing bitch ass Grant gloves. Next time I hope he wears Reyes or Everlast gloves. Oh well, most who saw the fight knows that Chino won.

My impression of the fight that Gayfeather eked out the decision or it was a draw. I felt El Chino tired in the second half of the fight and Floyd took command less the last round. But I also knew that at least one blind mouse would be judging this fight if not three blind mice. The boxing business needs Gayfeather to march on and create more PPV's. Sheesh the pirate feed I saw had the US satellite price and it was 88 US dollars? WTF........:icon_mrgreen::frusty:

Mayweather clearly lost rounds 1-5 as well as round 12. About three other rounds in the middle could have gone either way. Mayweather lost. He does throw nice elbows though. Always has been his best punch. A boring fighter.

The propaganda that goes on in all these boxing matches is rich. I just hate the replays in between rounds. It's always a desperate search of Gayweather's best moments. As I said after the Hatton fight the elbows that Gayweather throws constantly need to be answered by sharp elbows. That's the only way a ref will ever do anything. He will be forced to warn both fighters.

The pound for pound best fighter has been for years now Vladimir Klitchsko. No fighter has absolutely dominated his division like Vlad. The rather mediocre fighters like maidana that give Mayweather trouble should have long ago knocked him below Vlad on the pound for pound list. One fighter got a couple gift decisions and rarely knocks anyone out, while the other has hardly lost a single round in a decade.

Perhaps, Gayweather, should win the PFP boringest fighter - unfortunalty for him Bernard Hopkins is still fighting and owns that title.

I had Maidana winning last night 115-113, the fight was close. The 117-111 card in favor of Mayweather revealed something shady going on.

In all 4 fights, the referee favored the "home" fighter, and there were one or two ridiculously wide judges' scorecards.

Referee Jay Nady saved JDeon Love from being KOed in the fight with Periban. Then in the next round, he allowed Love to elbow Periban in the eye, causing a severe cut.

The ref in the Mayweather fight allowed Floyd to use his elbows into Maidana's face.

Kaptain and Carcharias make some great comments and I agree. You can make the argument that Maidana won all rounds from 1 to 5. I also thought he won the last round and 1 or 2 of the middle rounds. Overall, I would have had the fight roughly 115-113 for Maidana, give or take a round either way.
