I wanted to wish all the CF folks a safe & enjoyable Thanksgiving!

With that, I'll mention some (of the many) things this ol' boy is thankful for...

- Jesus Christ & His Holy Word
- Beautiful children & wife
- Good, old fashion upbringIng by 2 Godly parents (RIP Mom...will see you in Glory)
- Health (need to step it up next year...with both diet & training consistency)
- Good, steady, well paying job
- Caste Football (helped changed my sports & political outlook, & provided a means for friendship with my pal Colonel Reb...a Godly, upstanding man with a wonderful family :) )

My list of things to be thankful for, is not much different DixieDestroyer. Mine runs pretty much down the same line as yours.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone at CF!

Dixie, that is a great list, and I am thankful for most of those same things. I like what you put first, as I am one who needs to be reminded of that from time to time. I am thankful for this site because it gave a name to what I had been witnessing for 30 years, and let me know that I wasn't alone in noticing it.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanks Dixie. Happy Thanksgiving to all.

Happy Thanksgiving to all!

So ham or turkey? I'm a fan of cured meats in general so I always go ham.

I hope that all my friends at CF had a nice Thanksgiving holiday.

Personally, I noticed many positive occurrences at my family’s gathering this year. Loads of anti-Marxist dialog, proper gender roles (women cooking and caring for children, men outside working), traditional cuisine, masculine men, feminine women, and general family fellowship.

On that side of my family, I have over ten cousins, ranging in age from 29 to 21. With the exception of the youngest male, who is still in college, all of them are happily married (myself and my sisters included) to quality spouses and all but one has at least one child already. My oldest cousin, who lived in Austria, Switzerland, and Germany for over a year during college, has been teaching his young sons both German and English. I’ve been doing the same with my oldest daughter (2.5 years), so it was really cool to see them interact.

My grandpa had a recent surgery and is having trouble working until he heals, so before eating we helped him change out a few parts on his dump trucks. Instead of watching football after eating, we were outside playing it on the same turf in which we must’ve run 100,000 passing routes in our youth. After it became too dark to see the ball, we went inside and played several party-style board games for many hours. Best of all, we didn't watch a moment of TV.

All in all, it was a great day.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! I wasn't able to be with my family this Thanksgiving, but my wife and I did enjoy the company of Dixie Destroyer and his eldest son. :)
