a young welsh who was on the olympic U-23 GB team, joe allen, was bought by liverpool:

i never saw him play, but i'm very happy that liverpool still managed to sign a young promising player that happens to be born in england (or wales) and also white
people will say that the price might be too high (15 millions) compared with other talented players often from other countries but that's because they don't get that a local player will always be more expansive because talented local players are less likely to exist so are more rare (GB has a population of 60 millions, and there are 7 billions of non-british people in the world)

liverpool could lose one of their central defenders:

http://www.sabotagetimes.com/reportage/liverpool-why-agger-and-skrtel-cannot-leave-at-any-price/

at one point you will have to sell one of them, but with sebastian coates ready to play it won't hurt the team

everybody want them because liverpool was one of the best teams in europe defensively last season:
http://www.goal.com/en-us/news/85/e...h-not-surprised-liverpool-hold-best-defensive

(the coach mentions that he has great fullbacks and a great goalkeeper in addition to great central defenders but i don't agree: glen johnson is perfect because he's the token black player of the team, playing in an unimportant position, but the spanish left back was annoying last season - well glen johson was annoying too when he though that he was ronaldinho but i prefer this than having a black striker or central defender
and the spanish goalkeeper pepe reina cost us a lot of important points last season - yet the coach calls him the best goalkeeper in the premier league
there used to be a lot of scandinavian goalkeepers in english premier league, because scandinavia has awesome goalkeepers, why not look there?
the goalkeeper of denmark during the euro 2012 plays in french ligue 1, in a very small club not far from where i live, evian-thonon-gaillard: this is a club that played in second division 2 years ago
sweden's goalkeeper at the euro 2012 isaksson plays in turkey
these scandinavian goalkeepers need to come back to premier league)

It's official: Andy Carroll has been sent to West Ham United for the season. Word is that Brendan Rodgers is trying to acquire Clint Dempsey, who is on a personal "strike" at Fulham.

Pepe Reina just let in a howler for Liverpool in their Europa Cup match against Hearts. Spanish goalies are having a nightmare this year so far.

Update: But Suarez has made it right. And to think many observers said they should get rid of Suarez.

i have been saying the same for an entire year last season, they need to play with doni

as for the carroll transfert, that's a huge mistake
maybe it's just a loan and he can come back next year?
that would be OK
if he's replaced by dempsey and not some black striker i'm OK but i hate that he wasn't given his chance
dempsey is pretty powerfull, you'll see how many goals he will score from all the crosses liverpool does (the best ones are from gerrard)
then imagine what it would have been with carroll as a striker: http://youtu.be/qA_rb3EXh1k
and dempsey doesn't have the world class ability carroll and suarez have (although suarez is not an european-style goalscorer)
this ability is relatively useless in premier league because the defences are, hum, "special", but in champions league and in the big premier league matches (against arsenal, chelsea, tight white defenses) it's what gives you victories
remember that there are not many players in the world that can do that to terry: http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xq...tic-skill-goal-liverpool-vs-chelsea-2-1_sport
and there are even fewer in england, so wasting his talent is really frustrating

the transferts will be closed soon, and i didn't see any transfert to replace carroll
i guess that morgan will play this season (liverpool will have to play europa league, premier league, and the 2 national cups! so they need more than 2 forwards)
i never saw him play, i only saw that he played instead of carroll in the latest europa league match

We've already mentioned that Liverpool are playing a risky game having so few forwards. Well, now an injury has occurred. Fabio Borini is out for at least three months after surgery was needed on a fractured bone on his foot. That means Liverpool have only one striker (Suarez) and AFAIK they have to wait until the transfer window opens in the new year. How predictable was this? :icon_rolleyes:

Can't they get someone on loan? I don't know who would loan them a forward. What about Morgan? I hope he gets a chance.

They also have 21 year old Spaniard Pacheco.

i heard of transfert rumors but i won't even mention them because they are too depressing
maybe they shoul have bought michael owen when he was looking for a club a few months ago, i have no idea of how good he is right now but he would have been a good substitute i think
i think morgan played in europa league this season, but i didn't watch the match
it was his 1st match with liverpool's 1st team i think

and remember that liverpool plays as many competitions as giant clubs like real madrid or barcelona! they play european competition, national league and national cups! it's not only risky to have so few strikers, but impossible!
except if he plans to use morgan, or maybe he wants to play like spain, whithout any striker

funny how the young black defender wisdom went from being a center half to being a "modern fullback":

He said (liverpool's coach): “They were outstanding. When I came in, Andre Wisdom had been playing a lot at centre-half but he has the physical and technical capacity to play full-back.

The modern day full-back has a lot of the ball and he has got to have strength, pace and power. Andre has that.

that's a way to say that he's too black to be a central defender ( http://www.castefootball.us/forums/...n-talent-trawl?p=253183&viewfull=1#post253183 )

this player is a less "modern" fullback but i hope that he'll play:

Let's face it: these days, Liverpool is neither great nor particularly White.

Brendan Rodgers is not yet forty years old, so he grew up in the era when blacks were becoming visible in the game and he got into coaching almost exactly when Negroes began their flood into clubs' youth teams. Based on his selections at Swansea, he is a believer in Negro sporting prowess, but this doesn't necessarily differentiate him from many older managers, who are just as eager to load their teams with blacks.

Liverpool may have been all-White in its 1980s heyday, but it should be remembered that Kenny Dalglish did sign John Barnes in 1987, thus amplifying the already overhyped Negro's superstar media image.

Following Dalglish's departure at the beginning of 1991, Graeme Souness promptly brought in the blacks Michael Thomas, Mark Walters and David James. Combined with John Barnes, that made Liverpool one of the "blacker" clubs of the day.

Roy Evans continued the rot by adding Phil Babb, Stan Collymore, and Paul Ince, ensuring that Liverpool remained one of the most Negro-friendly English top-flight clubs. But it took the Frenchman (who else?) Gerard Houllier to really attempt a darkening of the scenery...

Houllier assumed sole managerial control in the 1998 off-season and quickly set about emulating his compatriot Arsene Wenger's all-out recruitment of Negroes. Between 1998 and 2004, Houllier effected astonishingly "shrewd" signings of scintillating geniuses like Bernard Diomede, Titi Camara, El Hadji Diouf, Rigobert Song, Djimi Traore, Salif Diao, Florent Sinama Pongolle, Abel Xavier, Alou Diarra, Djibril Cisse, Pegguy Arphexad and, of course, good old Emile Heskey, in addition to taking Nicolas Anelka on loan from Paris-Saint Germain.

Rafael Benitez did his bit as well, signing Mohamed Sissoko, Jermaine Pennant, Ryan Babel, David N'Gog and that ultimate megastar of megastars Damien Plessis. Then there was the "reserve" goalkeeper Charles Itandje who was sold following his idiotic antics at the 20th anniversary Hillsborough Disaster memorial...

Once Brendan Rodgers is handed a bit of transfer money, I'm sure that he'll recruit an additional black or two...

your list of the black players is impressive, but i think that if we do the same for manchester united or manchester city, the list will be a lot longer

what also strikes me is that most of them didn't play much
it reminds me of ac milan, who buy a lot of blacks from france, but they don't play much

liverpool won the champions league a few seasons ago with a mostly white team:

finale-2005-liverpool-joie_full_diapos_large.jpg

they also had a white ballon d'or winner (owen)

so from our point of view, they accomplished a lot for us

what annoys me with the players you listed is the fact that when they had a french coach they had many french payers (blacks, ofcourse) and when they got a spanish coach they had many spanish players, some of them very good (xavi alonso) but others were not that good (liverpool could have played whithout a spanish goal keeper)
mourinho does the same in real madrid, they have many portuguese players

right now the number of black players is increasing, but at least they are not imports, they all come from the youth squads of the club if i am not mistaken
the increasing number of black players seems to be a consequence of the increasing number of local players (so a consequence of failing to qualify for champions league a few seasons in a row)

i hope an english club will buy all the hype around the mediocre winger sterling and give liverpool some millions for him

also, about brendan rodgers and swansea: the only former swansea player he brought to liverpool (as far as i know) is joe allen ,white

there are also non race-related reasons that makes me like liverpool: the history of the club (for a non-english man, the only respectable english clubs are liverpool and manchester united), their suporters
i watched this live for example:

and even thought i didn't really understand why they did it, it was impressive

anyway, things can go really fast in one way or another (we saw it with chelsea this season) so let's see if liverpool can qualify to champions league, then they will have to choose between being a top european club (playing an all-white team except fullbacks and defensive middlefielder) and being a mediocre club (if they buy demba ba :yuck: )

Leeds had 2 black starters in 2001 when they made it to the semi-finals. Rio was one of them and Olivier Dacourt, who I assume was a defensive mf. They had 2 Australians--Kewell and Viduka.

Frederic -

That's why I said that Houllier attempted to darken the scenery. :icon_wink: Many of those players he signed never became regulars but - between them and the blacks brought in by Roy Evans (particularly Phil Babb, Stan Collymore, and Paul Ince) - there was a constant Negro presence in the Liverpool teams of the second half of the 1990s and early 2000s.

Regarding Liverpool's 2005 Champions League victory, Rafael Benitez started one black in the final (Djimi Traore) and sent on the arrestingly coiffure-challenged Djibril Cisse with a few minutes of regular time remaining. Cisse, of course, converted one of the penalties in the subsequent shootout.

As for Manchester United and Manchester City, sure, they have had far more blacks both on the books and on the field. However, in the case of the presently Negro-festooned City this has only been since the last couple of years of the 1990s and the early 2000s, when Joe Royle and then Kevin Keegan began the trend of stuffing the club to the gills with coal. But as this occurred at roughly the same time when blacks entered football in serious numbers throughout England and Europe, it was simply a more radical accent on the prevailing approach to recruitment (which has now gotten way out of hand).

More bad news from Anfield. According to the Sunday Express Liverpool are looking to sign Wilfried Bony from Vitesse Arnhem in the Dutch league. Bony is from Ivory Coast.:afro:

I don't get it. Liverpool need a proven forward right now, not someone from Africa who MIGHT be good some time in the future. They are risking wasting Suarez's best years - though there are reports that Juventus will make an offer for him. Liverpool are willing to pay Raheem Sterling 30,000 pounds (37 000 Euros) per week to keep him so surely they have plenty of money to throw around. I think they should try to lure Diego Forlan who can't be very expensive given his age and the fact that he's playing for some no name club in Brazil. If this continues Suarez should seriously consider trying to get out of his contract.

The new manager (who has been compared to David Brent from "The Office" for his management style) is bringing in a lot of black players, so perhaps this thread should be renamed.
Fulham seem to have taken over the mantle as the "white team" of the premier league. The starters for the last game where all white...
01 Schwarzer Australia
03 Riise Norway
05 Hangeland Norway
18 Hughes British
27 Riether German
07 Sidwell British
14 Karagounis Greece
16 Duff Irish
31 Kacaniklic Sweedish
09 Berbatov Bulgarian
11 Ruiz Cost Rica

Berbatov is the only big name player in that list, and he was little used in the last two years and dropped by Manchester United.
They are doing OK. Two places higher up the league than Liverpool anyway.

liverpool have a few black fullbacks and a few black wingers, nothing too bad right now
if they want a good striker they can call back andy carroll who's only on loan, he can be called back
marcelo bielsa will probably leave athletic bilbao next season
he knew how to play a fine passing style but with a big striker at the same time (llorente)

The one who got away.

Liverpool in my opinion missed a trick by never involving Aqualini in their plans. He scored two absolute crackers for Fiorentina this weekend, and has been excellent for them this season.Absolute bargain at just 6million. His second goal this weekend was similar to the one Ibra scored against Marseille. The one where he just toe pokes from the corner. Awesome stuff!

You can kiss Liverpool's season goodbye. They just lost 0-2 to West Brom. Even with the ref handing Liverpool a penalty they couldn't score. (Foster saved Gerard's PK). To make matters worse Lukaku scored the second goal.

Jordan Henderson,for the England U-21's.
The jewish media will tell you he is absolutely worthless, while saying that clowns like Daniel Sturridge and Danny Welbeck deserve to be in the England Senior side.

With Jews,you lose.

yes hebderson, i was watching a game i think it was against arsenal, and he scored a great goal
i had no idea that he was that young, i thought that he was 25

22 years old, that translates to 15 years old in african age

Liverpool are not worthy of support anymore, as Rodgers has taken the club in a negative direction. Joe Allen's position on the squad amounts to pure cronyism, as he has played very poorly this season.

Sterling has done absolutely nothing to earn a spot on the team. He is such a typical black winger who shows off his speed and useless tricks but provides no end product. Liverpool are over-reliant on Suarez for goals, and Sterling's ineffectiveness is a big reason for that.

Glen Johnson is an absolute clown. He's like Gervinho, but is a full-back.

Shelvey is a mediocre player who doesn't do anything well. I don't think he has a future at the club.
