Hispanic Roman Gonzalez just scored a 2nd round TKO. He is now 43-0. Excellent body puncher and combination puncher. Good stuff, he looked pretty awesome for such a little guy. Him VS Lomachenko one day would be epic.

Anybody who claims that smaller weight fighters can't be fun to watch is ignorant and not a true boxing fan. That Chololatito is as destructive as any heavyweight, and you don't have to watch the fat jiggle when he fights. Man what a demolition job.

That feed had a virus when I went to it.

Don I said a couple of weeks ago that CFers should beware of the so called "free streams". I tried one and my Apple Mac was infested with viruses. Luckly it was still under warranty and Apple removed them free of charge.

Awesome, even Don Wassall is watching the fight! GGG won't disappoint, he's truly spectacular.

I'd like to, but I'm not. Had to reboot my computer and hope my anti-virus software prevents that virus from causing any permanent damage.

Jewish referee Jack Reiss gave Monroe extra time to help him survive round 2. And Max Kellerman is rooting hard for Monroe.

It worked perfectly for me. That's where I saw the fight.

Great fight. The Venezuelan flyweight was impressive too.

No, little "Money", you don't want any part of GGG. He'd eat you up and spit out your bones and even your in-house Las Vegas referees and judges couldn't save you.

The GGG train continues full steam ahead. I believe GGG when he told Kellerman, that he "allowed" Monroe to hit him a bit so that he could get him later. Monroe was more than I expected. He is B tier fighter that GGG once got going, dominated and made quit. Monroe will never be the same, scrambled brains and now gun shy. Great performance for GGG. Going to look at that rankings and see who will step in with him in the top 10. I know Quillin won't and if Lee does, it will be a pay day with him draped over the ropes in the end.

GGG, right now has to continue to bust up these contenders and bide his time and wait for the winner of the Cotto vs Canelo fight. That is if Cotto gets by Geale.

I thought he counted to ten too.
He did. But he was trying to help Monroe survive, even though he took a bad beating.

He really didn't care about Monroe's health. Reiss just hates GGG because he's a Christian and half-Russian.

The Chosen Ones are very predictable.

Golovkin wrecks another prick. Completely demolished Monroe. Everyone talks about his power but if his speed, timing, accuracy, volume, and variety aren't enough, his clever footwork leaves his opponent no escape route. He doesn't spin, skip or run to dominate with his feet, his steps are purposeful and particular; most of his opponents don't understand what he's doing. If anyone is going to beat him it would be a straight shot fighter with wicked power down the middle. But Kovalev is two weight classes ahead so that fight will not happen. Long reign Golovkin.

Reiss went home after the fight and took a cold shower.:arms:

Reiss' phantom ten count reminded of various WWE stooge referees with their 2 and 3/4's counts.

The fight went to form. It looked like Munroe had more success than other fighters but I think Monroe realized he had to fight or die so he decided to stand his ground and try to slug it out with the hardest puncher in boxing. GGG isn't losing to anybody at middleweight and probably nobody at 168 either, though in theory maybe Ward could win a stinker fight with running and holding but even he would have to take a terrific beating to do this. Canelo, Cotto and everybody else will be vanquished by GGG.

Yeah, the trick with those streaming sites is to give each little popup a few seconds to display the actual button that will allow you to close it, and to never, ever hit any of those update buttons (all the fake Adobe Flash updated popups). Best site I've encountered so far that seems to never provide viruses is atdhe.to.

GGG looked awesome. I really do think he backed off a bit to give the crowd something to see and enjoy.

Roy Jones needs his block knocked off. He went on for a little while to make it appear as if he respected Golovkin, but then started a litany of remarks on how no one is actually scared of GGG, that it's only a matter of money, in a roundabout way implying that it's GGG who needs to somehow become more attractive to fans (as did Kellerman and Lampley also). GGG is popular, it's the usual suspects who promote overrated, melanin enhanced pretenders who are keeping Golovkin and other fighters (meaning White fighters) from getting the publicity and paydays they deserve.

It appeared GGG was sparing with Monroe. GGG did get hit, but not with anything damaging.

In fact, after the first series of early knock-downs, GGG perceptibly let of the gas pedal and allowed Monroe to mix it up with him.

No surprise in this fight. At least Monroe was cognizant enough to realize it was time to quit, or he would have suffered even more damage.
