The Bucs must have known this was coming. They had a chance to move on from the sex offender Winston by drafting a quarterback such as Josh Allen, Mason Rudolph or Kyle Lauletta. They should have.

I will be curious to see how this all pans out. Anus is a black quarterback of a different type - he isn't the type of black QB the media celebrates as having affleticism (although the analysts do equate his blackness with affleticism when they do their "analysis") - the media and DWFs love their black quarterbacks to have scattershot arms and take off running after they go through one read. Anus isn't a terrible QB but he isn't great - for a first overall pick he has to be great which he isn't - he is average to slightly above average as passer - throws alot of INTs (69/44 TD to INT ratio).

Aside from his average performance on the field the Bucs knew what they were getting when they invested the first overall pick to make him dat franchise black quarterback. It looks like it may end up coming back to bite them - I said it in the draft thread that the Bucs would be smart to at least draft an insurance policy in this year's draft in case Jameez continues to make mistakes both on and off the field. They decided to roll with Fitzpatrick and Ryan Griffin - I think Fitzpatrick and Jameez are pretty much the same type of QB - capable of putting up big numbers but also turnover prone (Fitzpatrick was a 7th round pick out of Harvard and Jameez was the first overall pick out of Free Shoes U).

Winston has a decent 27 wonderlic. Whatever his limitations he's no Radio. He looks like he knows what he's doing out there. He isn't (wasn't?) your typical one read then take off and run black quarterback.

He had a chance to challenge some stereotypes but with his poor impulse control he has managed to reinforce them.

I wouldn't want to play on a team led by him.

After he washes out of Tampa Bay, I'm not even sure he will hang around the league as back up as the last thing teams want is back up who will show up on the police blotter because of his personal life.

His lack of self control has probably cost him 20 million dollars as I think Tampa Bay cuts bait and doesn't pick up his option unless he is pistol hot after he is reinstated.

Notice the difference in the media coverage between Donald Trump talking and Jameis Winston actually assaulting someone. The media is relatively silent about Winston.

Trump is white and Winston is black. That's why a big deal is made over Trump's words but not Winston's deeds. It's a racial double standard.
