I'll be watching tonight's match against Russia. They said on the news that there will be French police snipers at Le Stade de France. What could possibly go wrong?!

Seriously though from the point of view of the Muslims it wouldn't make sense to attack tonight unless they have a near perfect plan with inside operators, which is unlikely even in Paris. From their point of view it would be better to strike again when they have the element of surprise at a location of their choosing rather than when the state authorities are at at maximum readiness within a confined space.

aparently now they have explosive vests so thin that they could get inside the stadium with it or explode in front of the stadium when everybody waits to get in without any problems
aparently last time they attacked this stadium they were late and everybody was already in the stadium, so they exploded themselves outside while nobody was there (few people injuried except a romani lol)
the plan was to explode themselves when everybody waits outside the stadium
they will probably do it again, but maybe not this early

and the danger for the euro champs is not only the stadiums, but also the gatherings that will take place in every city, where people will be watching the games in front of giant screens
they can also attack bars crowded with people watching the games

today there was a riot in my city, communists and anarchists ravaged the city and attacked all the symbols of the government like the police, the banks, the townhall, etc
there will be no matches here but still the situation is pretty explosive in france
there are people living in areas that are outside of the autorithy of the state, that the state has lost
these guys are ready to fight until death and are extreme as it gets
it's no longer some extremists here and there, like the guy that killed a journalist in a communist newspaper because according to him he was not left wing enough, there are real areas ready to fight and with many extremists there

Benzema's suspension will be enforced. IOW he won't be in the French squad at Euro 2016. This should be Griezmann's time to shine.

they will try to have fekir (the guy who is booed every time he touches the ball because he said earlier that his dream was to play for algeria, the arabs in france didn't like it when he accepted to play for france) or ben arfa (notorious arab flop) in the team but it will be hard, the other players deserve to be in the squad more
it tells a lot about the arab's abilities at sports when you consider accordind to algeria, people in france who are of algerian origin are more than 10%, then there are the moroccans and the tunisians
and they are the most obsessed with soccer, all of them play it

I didn't want to start the Euro 2016 thread just for this, but good news for Germany fans: Ilkay Gundogan is out for the tournament!! He was likely going to be a starter, so this means 8-9 white starters for sure for Germany. Unfortunately, Ozil and Boateng are undroppable at this point, and if by some miracle Loew doesn't start Turk Emre Can, Germany will be one of the whiter Western Euro teams.

Germany will be one of the whiter Western Euro teams.

They'll still be the least white team in their group though.

We should start up a new thread when the tournament starts. Hopefully we can get more activity then.

Unfortunately Germany weren't able to be drawn with Switzerland or Albania; it's a shame their with 3 all-white teams. As one of the "whiter" West Euro teams, I was hoping they'd be able to knock a worse team out.

Looking at the field; I'm guessing Turkey, France, Switzerland, Albania, Belgium, Portugal, and England will be the teams that we will be rooting against. I'm assuming Wales and Austria will be in the "Germany" territory, i.e. around 9 white starters.

I'm hoping activity will pick up for the tournament. It usually always has since I've been a member; the Euro 2012 thread was huge, as were the two World Cup threads.

I'm really looking forward to the Euro '16 thread! The World Cup '14 thread was amazing! I'm rooting for Iceland and Ulster, both all-White teams (Unless Magennis starts, which he won't)
