I saw this "comedic peice" (of sh*t) on Sunday NFL Crapdown, starring the very un-funny, want-to-be-comedian, Kenny Mayne.

Mayne has always been "the funny one" around the ESPN studio, and all of his jock-licking collegues will do a big belly laugh at whatever this pea-brain says during his very boring "Mayne Event" yawn-fest.

The horribly unnecissary racial insult this thread is referring to did actually happen.....and it should have be enough to offend enough white viewers (and all races, for that matter) to never watch this filth ever again.

Ahh, but the racial cowardance runs strong in 99% of white "fans." Why in the hell do you think they still watch the NFL? The NBA? MLB? Actually, I'm positive that 95% of white fans watching this most recent stupidity thought it was "hilarious, dude" ....and then gulped another beer, ate another salted snack, and became the beautiful little stereotype that You-Know-Who wants them to be.

NFL Sunday Countdown has reached new levels of boredom, racial ass-kissing, idiotic behavior, and just an overall lack of football knowledge. I watch maybe 1-5 minutes a week of that trash hole show before I'm either offended or falling asleep. Chris Berman's womanly gushing and Keyshawn and Chris Carter's hilariously bad grammar tend to do that.Edited by: Thrashen

"That's why black guys play goalie" wouldn't fly on an NHL wrapup show I can assure you.

i turned on the idiot box to see SportsCenter after reading this post, and i saw the piece. i noticed that it had awkwardly been edited to now say "slow ass white guys," which, is apparently not offensive.

Has anyone caught Inside the NFL since it moved to Showtime this year? It's been around forever and of course has always been studiously politically correct. Cris Collinsworth (who is cocky as can be exceptfor being a shuck 'n jive Uncle Tom when referring to his All Pro NFL career as a wide receiver) is the only holdover from last year, along with Phil Simms, James "I Feel Good" Brown and. . . Warren Sapp. Brown of course is well-spoken, but Sapp couldn't be more miscast. Completely inarticulate and possessed of horrible speaking skills. Like with Shannon Sharpe, there needs to be a scroll at the bottom of the screen translating what he's saying when he speaks.

Could you imagine the reaction of Americans from 50 years ago if they were frozenin time and then transported to the Idiocracy of 2008? Football and basketball programs with mostly black announcers, many of whom don't even have basic grammar skills? Amazing stuff, and it's never going to work. That's right, it's already breaking down financially. The contrived racial engineering schemes will be next.

I often wonder how the real men of 50 years ago would have reacted to MOST EVERYTHING involving the race relations of today. Back then, white males were actually allowed to speak their minds about racial issues without getting fired, persecuted, jailed, etc. Gee, what a strange concept that would be in today's pathetic little sh*thole, affirmative action american "values."

However, as a result of the "freedom" of speach that white males used to have (before gutless homosexuals began the never-ending race pandering) hundreds of thousands of movies, history books, news stories, and other propaganda machines were developed with the "white racism" storyline. Guess who the villian is each and every time? Guess what morons bought this lunacy hook, line and sinker?

Just think to yourself about that little buzz word, "racist." What do 100% of human beings see in their minds when that word is uttered? Perhaps a white slave owner whipping a black slave? Blacks getting sprayed by fire hoses? Native americans getting shot and killed? Hitler? Nazi germany? And of course, my all-time personal favorite (me being 100% German), THE HOLOCAUST.

Most people don't how it feels to be brainwashed...because it starts so early in life.Edited by: Thrashen

Why wasn't this guy fired for that racist comment? If a white even remotely mentions race he loses his job.

I agree with Don on Shannon Sharpe. This guy is the most arrogant piece of trash on tv. Not only that his mumbling ebonics is ridiculous.

This is why I only watch ESPNews. All I want and need is highlights and stats. Thats it! I could care less about human interest stories about LeRoy from Mississippi who helped his grandma out of poverty with a fat NFL pay check, or the most dreaded of all the "Sunday Conversation". YAWNNNNN!!

Sharpe is a moron and does not belong on TV. I can never understand a word he's saying, it's almost as though his mouth is full when he speaks, what a disgrace.

All men, black, asian, brown, arab, and white men from many other countries -- say whatever the hell they want, whenever they want.

American men do not, because we've fallen for the propaganda that women and minorities are smarter than us, and know how to lead.

That's why America today sucks compared to America circa 1948.

Yes, sucks.

Where as white men before were allowed to follow their traditional and instinctive masculine tendencies toward leadership, endeavor, and action, white men now are channeled into talking instead of doing, following instead of leading, letting someone else do it instead of doing it yourself the right way, and blaming themselves for the fact that NO ONE can do as good a job at anything as a strong white man.

For real.

Really good point! I double-dog dare any white sportscaster to make that or a similar comment. How long would he keep his job? Yet, a black sportscaster can make a comment about "slow ass white boys" with seemingly no repercussions.

Unless it was preceded by some nonsense about how no matter how hard they try, they could never afford the uniforms and sticks. And appended with some comment about how we must set up a program to provide them with them.

I don't know about all of them, but I rumble, stumble and fumble to try to find a way this could not be an accurate description of Theisman. The things he said and the way he said them when he covered Vick's games in Atlanta games leaves very small room for doubt.

They just replayed Mayne's bit again on ESPN's NFL Live -- but the racist "joke" was edited out! Very interesting.

Cris Collinsworth was a sensation in his 1981 rookie year with the Bengals, catching 67 passes for 1009 yards. Cincinnati went to the Super bowl that year. Collinsworth was drafted in the second round and beat out a black WR, David Verser, who was the Bengals No. 1 pick.

A major reason for Collinsworth's popularity was that he was very articulate and a great interview. He was the subject of a cover story in Sports Illustrated. Collinsworth said one interesting thing in this article that I remember. White athletes are always compared to other white athletes. Collinsworth said that he didn't want to be compared to white receivers like Lance Alworth (who was no longer playing) but to "guys like Lofton, who are the best playing now." He also joked about the language that cornerbacks used on him because he was white.

Anyone who is a member of that website that has the video should make some revealing comments. I tried but you need to become a member, and frankly I am fed up with every damn website out there requiring yet another new user ID and password to memorize!

I've been telling you guys and everyone I write and talk to that the NFL will not change as long as their ratings remain strong enough. I have said numerous times on this site that the NFL is a business and the best way to change a business' practices is to stop being a customer. Every time you men turn on these shows or watch a game you help their ratings. The NFL is so bold because the networks pay them according to ratings. STOP BEING A CUSTOMER. If you really must watch the crap they sell them watch it through SECONDARY sources where it will not contribute to their ratings. These racist pigs get away with all of this crap because they can. I am proud to say I have not watched a game or a show propagandizing the game in over 25 years!!

Maple Leaf, you still haven't explained how the NFL knows whether I'm watching a game or not merely because I have the TV on. Yes, if you're a Nielsen household or whatever, but otherwise? Do you have info or sources that show that cable and satellite companies pay the NFL or have some kind of advertising system set up with them based what channels are being watched?

I don't watch the games anyway, but I'd still like to know how merely watching a game on your tv is supporting the NFL financially. Really, you'd have to stop buying Ford, Budweiser, and who knows what else. You'd have to boycott the companies advertising on their shows, imo, not just leave the TV off.

Shogun:

Every program that is broadcasted has a satelite signal. The signal has a code. When your television set receives the code the cable company has a counter attached to your feed and knows what signal you tuned into, when you tuned in, and for how long. It is not estimated. Satelite dishes that recieve the code also send back a receiving signal which can be counted. The only television sets that cannot be counted as accurately are the old tube ones or pre-1982. I may be wrong with the exact year. Of course no one knows exactly how many people are sharing the same television set at one time but they can track how many television sets are tuned into the signal. What they do know - precisely- is how many signals are being received at one time.

The networks needed this system to base its advertising fees on. The more signal a show draws the more they can charge for advertising because more people are viewing. More viewers, more potential buyers. So that is why I say never watch from a primary source.
