Too bad there are some who only think Swope can be a slot receiver and his timed speed isn't legit. I don't know how to get an account on there, it only allows you to sign in and not sign up, the concussion thing overblown, the one they thought was serious turned out to be very mild and not serious at all.

Look at McGuffie, he had two concussions his freshman year and he never had them since and took some big hits.

in case you missed it in the other thread, here is McGuffie's highlights, of what I could find at least.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BslK5um_A3s

we seem to have quite a few guys run a 4.3 this year, Swope, McGuffie, Josh Lenz. When you consider they are almost shut out of the position, that is quite impressive. Of course they are doing everything they can to discredit Swope's speed and haven't mentioned McGuffie or Lenz.

ugh I hate when my post goes to the next page and you can't see what was being talked about on the previous page unless you have a big block of quotes

Reports indicate the Rams are showing beaucoup interest in T.J. Moe.

NFL Outlook for WR T.J. Moe

by Bleacher Report

Former Missouri wide receiver TJ Moe isn't the biggest name entering the draft at the position, but he was the best target for quarterback Blaine Gabbert ...

Here's a nice little fairly aware discussion thread on Swope among some Lions fans. Read it and it's clear yet again that: 1. Caste Football has in some cases dramatically busted open the awareness of football fans when it comes to stereotyping White players, particularly receivers; and 2. the DWFs are well ahead of media reporters, analysts, and "gurus" on this, as the latter still routinely use the same time-honored racist and idiotic cliches such as comparing all White receivers to Wes Welker (after spending 15 years before that comparing all White receivers to Ricky Proehl).

I loved this comment about Swope:

"he doesn't run to his timed speed, unless he gets a clean break at the line, which will be rare in the NFL"..........who the hell runs their combine 40 time with a cornerback checking them at the line of scrimmage. You've got to give the DWFs credit for being imaginative in discrediting their brethren.....LMAO

Amazing how every year top White prospects at black positions are always said to be a player that the Patriots would select, yet they keep disappointing us year after year. They get their White players later in the draft or through free agency. I would love to see Margus Hunt go there but I won't hold my breath

Another sleeper running back to watch out for even though in a fair world he should be a 1st or 2nd round pick.

one scout said this was the worst linebacker class he has seen in his life. It also happens to be the darkest one with Chase Thomas and AJ Klein not even mentioned among the top when they should be. If they were given the opportunity they would be the best out of this draft imo. There are so many holes in every top prospect, every team wants to trade down because they don't view any of the players as top 20 caliber, except for the left tackles who are mostly White.

Line should be getting a lot more love. He ran an average of 4.65 at his pro day, the low being a 4.62, its not that far off from guys like Alfred Morris and Stevan Ridley, except he has a lot more wiggle and better in the passing game (blocking and receiving)

and the top ranked back in the draft Eddie Lacy ran a 4.65 at his pro day

Swope now seen as being a possible mid-second round pick. The big question is Swope's landing spot. Will he be selected by a relatively White friendly team where he has a chance to thrive from the get-go, or will it be reminiscent of Matt Jones being picked by Jax, or all the White RBs in recent years being drafted by about the worst possible team?

Swope has worked out for a number of teams lately, including the likes of the Steelers and Bears, two teams that only a sadist or a dedicated hater of White athletes would want to see him drafted by.

Draft insider Tony Pauline writes Texas A&M WR Ryan Swope is "rising fast" into the middle part of the second-round. Swope recently visited the Bears, Bills, and Chargers. "Swope is applauded for his dependability and the way he does the little things correctly," Pauline writes. "His speed at the combine (fastest official hand time of 4.28s from Indianapolis) caught a lot of people by surprise and most feel Swope, like Patton, can line-up as a second receiver in the NFL." I have watched a lot of his highlights. His straightline speed, the one area where whites are knocked the most, is much better than advertised.

So what does everyone think the over/under for percentage of white players (not including punters/kickers) drafted is going to be? I am setting the line at 25% and personally think it's going to be under 25%. It is a very dark year. As usual the draft process does its best to undermine and sweep talented white players under the rug year after year - this season being no exception.

Also, I came across an article from Bob McGinn who does a preview of all the positions prior to every draft. Notice what they say about Glennon and the way the QB position is going. These scouts are pretty much the footsoldiers of the caste system - perpetuating lies and spinning them into truth. I also found it interesting to see what they said about Barkley's arm length...what does that have to do with playing QB? Anyway here is the link: http://www.jsonline.com/sports/the-...me-and-projected-round-rt9i5sb-203862401.html

Also, Bill Polian thinks Landry Jones is the best QB in this draft. I would say he is right up there with Barkley. It is amazing how Jones just got hammered by the media and they tore him down from first rounder to mid round prospect: http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...ays-landry-jones-is-the-best-qb-in-the-draft/

Don - is it ok if I create an official draft thread? Or should we keep all draft discussion in this thread?

Leonardfan, last year there were 58 white position players drafted, and I'm going to be naive and project a few more this year, maybe 64-66 or so. I'm hopeful for the slight improvement because there should be about the same amount of defensive players taken, but maybe a few more on offense, due to a good crop of tackles, tight ends, hopefully three or or more WR's, and a few running backs. Also, I think there were 10 more white players at the combine this year than last.

Yes, we can start a draft thread next week or at any time for that matter.

There's precious little variance in the number of blacks and Whites drafted each year, which is strong evidence that there's an unwritten but very much understood quota system in place. Otherwise, if there was an attempt to be colorblind there would be fluctuations by race -- including occasional dramatic ones -- and at various positions, but there never is. Of course this is all determined long before the NFL Draft, when college recruiters and the likes of Rivals and Scout screw over most of the deserving White high school players.

There seems to be somewhat of a comeback by Whites on the o-line. Just a few years ago it looked like tackle, especially left tackle, was going to go as black as wide receiver and defense, but it hasn't happened. Tight end is about half White, another turnaround from previous trends. Quarterback will still be predominantly White in the '13 draft. The endless torrent of slow and obese black defensive tackles and small and mostly slow cornerbacks that get selected each year always ensures the draft being an overwhelming "black thang."

The title of this can always be changed to 2013 NFL Draft since it has some good posts on it.

I don't know, 10 more seems optimistic. I don't think the combine helped any White prospects. We don't have as many defensive guys at positions at linebacker, the two off of the top of my head are Chase Thomas and AJ Klein, both rated way lower than they should be. Thomas falls because of a 4.92 which he lowered to a 4.8 at his pro day and Jarvis Jones runs a 4.92 AT his Pro day and nothing happens to him, maybe dropped him out of the top 10. Some dwfs are "hoping" he falls to the teens. Not even the draft 'gurus" are in love with this draft, some hate Mingo, some think he is the best, some hate Dion Jordan, some thing hes the best, some hate Ansah some think he is the best. Amazing that Hunt/Werner are downgraded and Thomas is significantly downgraded. Jordan and Ansah didn't produce as pass rushers, and Jones would have ran a 5 second 40 at the combine, not ideal for a smaller pass rusher.

Also with a good deal of elite White tackles this year, the general consensus is that "left tackle is no longer a top priority position", its now qb/pass rusher. How convienent when there are more black qbs in the draft and a signficant amount of black "pass rushers".

Cooper Taylor is ranked later than he should be as well. John Boyett has had some interest, hopefully he can get up into the 4th or 5th but he is coming off of injury, which seems to be a bigger deal than Lattimore coming off two years of knee injuries, and a guy that never had good speed or agility. He just has a kamikaze style of running, he seeks contact whenever possible. Peyton Hillis is 10x better and not considered a starting rb anymore.

The top ranked safety in this class is a poor version of Malcolm Jenkins, stone hands, not a sure tackler, Kenny Vacarro.

Do Josh Lenz and Sam McGuffie get drafted with their elite measurables?

Burkhead downgraded because of his 40, which he got down at his pro day, doesn't affect Lacy to run a 4.65 at his. Most of the top guys are slow, and I see more burst out of Burkhead, and he has what most don't, the ability to receive out of the backfield and pass block very well, something Line can do too.

I am hoping that this draft wakes some people up. One scout said this is the worst linebacker class he has ever seen, its also very black. All of the teams that aren't looking for a left tackle are wanting to trade back because they don't view any of these black prospects as top 20 worthy.

I just hope the few White guys we have wind up in good situations. Shea Mclellin got screwed, he was an ideal 3-4 olb and he was drafted by the Bears to play LDE. He could possibly play RDE in a 4-3 but LDE was the worst fit for him. I don't know what happened to Matt Johnson, hopefully he still has a chance to start at safety. Its going to be that way espescially for the White qbs, they will have to land in ideal situations and be given fair opportunities, otherwise they will be written off as quick as Colt McCoy.

There are talks of Swope going to Miami to reunite with Tannehill, but where does that leave Hartline with the addition of Wallace? Swope can play the slot but will they start both Hartline and Swope? Swope over Bess who seems to be appreciated similar to Jason Avant (a guy that Riley Cooper supposedly can't start over).

I am predicting it will be the same, with many of our guys not landing in ideal situations to not start. Star tight ends like Ertz are being said best suited as number 2 tight ends that are best in the redzone.

I am hoping for the best though. Hopefully Swope, Vernon, TJ Moe and Taylor get starting positions. John Boyett in rotation as a nickelback. McGuffie and Lenz getting a chance to prove themselves. Chase Thomas getting into the rotation. AJ Klein getting a chance to compete for a starting spot. Hopefully Burkhead and Line can at least be given chances as 3rd down backs with some carries. Even if a good deal of Whites get screwed, I can't imagine many of these top black prospects panning out, so it should give Whites an opportunity sooner or later, but these guys in the 1st and 2nd will get 4 to 5 years to prove themselves. 1st round - 5 year contract, 2nd round 4 year contract.

Dwid, Kiko Alonso is another white linebacker who should get drafted high. Also, Mike Mauti would be high drafted white linebacker but his injury history will lower his chances.

FWIW, I just went through CBS sportsline draft rankings and of their alleged top 250 draft prospects, 60 are white. They project 3 white WR's, Swope, Vernon and Rodgers, getting drafted. Don't know how accurate they have been in the past.

all 3 top tackles should be picked within first 10 so that's a positive. other than that i am eagerly awaiting Ryan Swope's and Burkhead's landing spots announcement...

the big question is, will someone take a chance on McGuffie (he could easily be "surprise" 4th round pick) or is he better off signing with someone after the draft and in that way at least having a semblance of control over his future?

I temporarily forgot about Mauti, hopefully he can get drafted. I didn't know Kiko was White, his name definetly doesn't sound White but he looks 100 percent White. Looks like trouble with the law early in his career might hurt him (DUI) and breaking and entering to pass out intoxicated. Suspended an entire year for a DUI. Geez.

Id like to see McGuffie drafted in the 4th, then teams might be more invested in trying to use him. If he goes past the mid 5th he might as well be an UDFA. Some people have talked about moving him to safety. Why not corner? He certainly has all the tools.

Kiko's father is Cuban and his mother is Colombian. But as you can see, he's 100% white.
