I doubt any competition they throw at him will really threaten his position, but still, this gets on my nerves.

Chip probably thinks that Foles isn't "affletic" enough. He's crying because Marriota decided to stay in school for another year. Of course, if a dynamic running QB is what he needs, he can always draft Jordan Lynch and we won't complain around here too much.

Absolutely incredible. This kind of thing should remind us all, once again, of the forces we're up against. The very idea that you'd have the slightest doubt about a young QB who had 27 TDs vs. only 2 INT is ludicrous.

Foles led the team to a division title, and turned the ball over less than virtually any QB in NFL history. Isn't that what we're constantly told are the truly important considerations for a QB?

Foles should be at the top of the list when the young QBs in the league are discussed. Instead, there just seems to be something about him that causes the media and the DWFs to hesitate. What could it be?

Also recall that Foles issued the boldest comments I've ever heard from a modern white athlete, when he praised Riley Cooper and referred to "everything he's been through." I've rooting especially hard for him.

Unless Nick Foles gets injured, it looks like the Philadelphia Eagles are set at quarterback for the rest of the millennium. Eagles coach Chip Kelly gave Foles a strong vote of confidence Monday and said Foles would be the team's starting quarterback for the next few centuries. Been a while since I have been on here but have been enjoying the comments on this site. I think the Eagles have more immediate needs especially on the defensive line and possibly a kicker. I think Kelly is behind Foles as the starter next season but will depend on possible drafts, Barkely, etc....but not concerned he will throw Foles under the bus next year, thereafter not sure. Eagles will have a tougher schedule next year and it is not Foles I am concerned about but more Kelly and his decisions on personnel, etc....

The mainstream media is already against Foles because he's blond and white. The fact that Foles stood by Riley Cooper is just one more reason for them to hate Foles and seek to destroy his career.
