I didn't watch this game, but I caught A LOT of BSPN's "analysis" leading up to this game..

All I can say is, BSPN is SHOCKED right now!

A nice accomplishment for Duke with their best player Singler having a sub par game offensively.

Duke-Wisconsin matchup tonight on ESPN 915 pm eastern. Most of the game you will see at least six whites on the floor and at times eight or nine.

Glad to see you still posting away on here whiteathlete33 with all that you have gone through personally lately and your recent loss of a loved one. Enjoy the game tonight, I know I will.

Thanks guest. I am slowly getting over it. We knew she was sick and I was basically already mourning before she passed.

Kyle Singler is going to be a great player in the nba. I truely belive that. He has the inside game to go with his shooting. He can put the ball on the floor and draw the foul consistantly. He will remind people of Tom Chambers. I see a bright future for him. I have a nick name for him. The Baby Faced Assasain! He may look like the local paperboy but boy can he deliver!

I admire the way Duke plays such a tough non-conference schedule year in and year out in addition to playing in the very tough ACC. It was nice to see Mason Plumlee back so soon from his injury and hope he lives up to the pre-season hype.

How many white starters does Duke have this year?

Usually three white starters. Miles Plumlee, Kyle Singler and Jon Scheyer.

I love how outta the top Duke rotation players, only 3 are black: Smith, Thomas and Dawkins. While the whites are Scheyer, Singler, Miles Plumlee, Zoubek, Mason Plumlee, Ryan Kelly and Czyz.

Nice find Freethinker. Thats a poster I would buy and put on my wall. Zoubeck looks every bit the enforcer of the group and Scheyer the mastermind.

i watched this game ... and "somehow" Duke won, despite Dicky Vitale continuously spouting his drivel that UConn(victs) was soooooooo much more affletic and such. he "proved" his point by talking about how many shots UConn had blocked in the game. at the time of his statement, UConn had 4 blocks ... Duke also had 4 blocks.

I'm watching the Duke-GW game right now, and I'm mighty impressed with the performance of Jon Scheyer (24 points (5-6 3pt's), 5 assists, 1 TO). He should be a capable point guard in the NBA. The fact he's 6'5, really versatile, and athletic, I'm sure a transition to the NBA won't be a problem for him. JJ Redick may have been a better shooter and scorer, but Scheyer has a much better overall game. I can't wait to see Scheyer in the NBA. IMO, he's a bigger and more polished version of Kirk Hinrich.

I'm not sold yet on either Kyle Singler, or the Plumlee Brothers. While Kyle Singler is already quite impressive on both ends (just needs a bit more refining), the Plumlees are quite raw, and they will need lots of serious refining. It's obvious they all need the 4 years in Duke, because EDUCATION matters as much as the game after all. Edited by: j41181

yes. it's on ESPN2.

it also features a very good shooter for Gardner-Webb ... 6-foot senior guard, Grayson Flittner.

Flittner was first made famous for destroying Kentucky at Rupp Arena, and his most recent feat was lighting up North Carolina a couple of weeks ago in the Dean Smith Center. he scored 32 points in the loss, setting a Smith Center record for most 3-pointers in a game, with 9.

he is GW's leading scorer, and is also the leading assist man with an impressive 4-1 assist-to-turnover ratio. he is VERY under-rated. he was the state of Indiana's leading scorer in high school ... and you know the drill.

additionally, i thought i'd share this dunk mixtape of Duke's athletically gifted freshman, Mason Plumlee. enjoy.

It's a typical blowout for Duke. Super Magnificent game for Jon Scheyer (36 points). Must be the best game I have ever seen of him!!

the NBA futures of these Duke players is a crap shoot ... why? because the NBA doesn't value things that help you win games. all that matters, for the most part, is leaping ability, height, and black skin.

that means at least one BIG strike for every one of the talented White kids on the Duke roster.

Scheyer ... career highs in points, 3-point fgs made, assists ... and i think only 1 turnover. wow! what a terrific effort fora great all-around player. not bad for a White kid without any affleticism, as the idiot Lynn Elmore kept insisting about the entire Duke team.

also, i give creditto the guys fromGardner-Webb. they refused to quit. they just ran into a buzz saw tonight.

Duke 113, Gardner-Webb 68

Jon Scheyer - 36 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists (7-9 3pt's)
Kyle Singler - 11 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists
Miles Plumlee - 13 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists
Brian Zoubek - 13 points, 9 rebounds

Grayson Flittner - 10 points, 3 rebounds, 4 assists
Auryn MacMillan - 13 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists

Simply a magnificent game from Jon Scheyer, the best I've ever seen from him. This game enough to prove he's NBA material. The Plumlee brothers are simply amazing, they just need to refine their overall game. There are seems to be so many big American whites with hops lately, most of them have got to enter the NBA somehow.

The red hot Scheyer could have had 50 points in that game if he had not sat the last seven minutes. Save it for the Tar Heels Scheyer.
