Looking at that knockout, it's hard for me to conclusively say whether Scott took a dive or not. The knockout came from two punches, a left hook that landed on the side of the head, and a right hand that appeared to have not landed at all and was wholly blocked by Scott's gloves. It is possible that he was dropped from the initial left hook, and it is also possible that the fight is indeed fixed on some level and he purposely went down or made no effort to get up.

If Scott really was trying his best, and this fight was not fixed, he should retire because his performance is downright pathetic, probably the worst I've ever seen in a pro boxing ring. I know 16 year old amateur boxers that could do better than that. It truly is horrible that he seemed to have made no effort in the fight and was KO'd by a punch that didn't even land. Like is this for real?

Malik Scott does represent a step up for Wilder, so rightfully, he does deserve say a top-20 to top-15 ranking after this fight. That being said, he is in for a rude awakening when he encounters an opponent that won't lay down from one punch. Cris Arreola would be a great test and if Arreola's at his best I like his chances by KO.

Well there's power, and then there's Magic Negro Power. We all know that. There must have been something special in those punches.

Some bad Ju-Ju for sure.

Look for Scott to be so depressed over this loss that he goes on a big spending spree.

As far as I can tell neither punch came within 4" of Scott's noggin. That junk is straight from Hollywood and the WWE. Haye-Harrison redux.

This goofus went to the same acting school:

Haye - Harrison redux. Or, like Yogi Berra said, it's deja vu all over again.

Scott's eyes are clear when he's down.

His expression gives it away - he wasn't really hurt.

That's because he wasn't really hit. Watch his head. It never snaps back as it would have if he was really hit.

You guys are pretty sharp; you spotted the lemon too. I didn't read or post on any forums that covered this fight. I haven't even seen the fight, or the video above, and I knew it was a fix. There is no way Scott can go the distance getting hit by Glazkov and then suddenly his chin went all soft against Wilder. No way. This fight was just a set up to make this Wilder seem like he's some demolition expert against better competition. Wilder's playing with explosives and he's going to get his head blown off when he faces someone that won't play his game. That time is closing in. There's a big traveler on the Island of Engels who would just love to light his fuse

Ok, now I've seen it. Hahahahaha! Oh but what a fake job! Wilder slaps an open hand "left hook" and then throws a right that Scott perfectly blocks. Scott goes down while looking up. The guy's got no shame. I bet he wouldn't bend over like that for a white man! Best part of the vid: read the lips of the woman in the background yelling out:"Oh my God!" Pure comedy!

"Wilder's playing with explosives and he's going to get his head blown off when he faces someone that won't play his game. That time is closing in." Pure gold..... I don't know if this was a case of Buster Douglas rolling over and pawing at his nose and not bothering to get up or this was a true tank job. But Wilder seems too dumb to realize that his team beyond getting him a decent purse to fight for the WBC title is doing him no favors and probably will destroy his career after he probably drowns in deep water in that fight or against Wlad down the road.

They were both in on it. It appears that Scott winked at Wilder right before, just the same as the little nod in the Haye-Harrison fix, and then as soon as Scott falls down from a punch that never even touched him, Wilder doesn't even look at him or wait for the count or anything, he just turns his back and walks away and never even looks back to see if Scott jumped up or beat the count or what, and that's because he knew the script. Both of them should be banned from boxing.

You can watch it for yourself, right here. And the shill announcers hype it up like it's real, just like they do on the WWE wrestling shows.

Just saw the replay. Friggen dive job by Scott. He made Bruce Seldon who fought Tyson at his prime, look like Jake LaMotta. Wilder will get his ass pile drived by Chris or the other negro heavyweight who beat him. No worries.

On the same card, I saw the Alex Garica vs Herrera fight. I like Garica but he lost that fight by 2 or 1 points. Even the Showtime crew had Herrera winning that fight. Just goes to show you, that if you are up and coming you need power, to take the decision out of the crooked judges.

Which leads me to Paulie Maliggiani, this guy has outstanding boxing skills, but no power. If he did, he would be the White version of Sugar Ray Robinson (which BTW is a compliment). I hope he beats the newest black hope some guy named Porter. He should be able if he uses movement and skills.

The "Great Black Hope" Deontay Wilder fights Eric Molina this Saturday in Alabama, Wilder's 1st defense of his WBC title.

His opponent, Eric Molina is not a top-20 heavyweight. Eric Molina is not a top-30 heavyweight. Eric Molina is not even a top-40 heavyweight. According to the fair and unbiased BoxRec computer, Eric Molina is rated the 44th best heavyweight in the world. I've been watching boxing my entire life and I've never heard of Eric Molina before this fight was announced. He is a genuine "no hoper" and the most notable name on his record is Cris Arreola, who knocked Molina out in 1 round. Wilder may as well be fighting a taxi driver, gas station attendant, or KFC delivery man.

Eric Molina has no business being in a titlefight and he is possibly the least deserved heavyweight challenger in all of boxing history, of all time. In fact, Wilder VS Molina is probably the worst heavyweight title fight in boxing history, of all time!

Things are going to get real for Wilder very quick though, as the WBC has ordered him to begin negotiations with his mandatory challenger - Alex Povetkin - by October. Povetkin is likely the #2 best heavyweight in the world and will prove by far the strongest opposition Wilder has ever fought.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Wilder vacates his belt to avoid fighting Povetkin.

Wilder only had like 30 amateur fights, took up boxing late, and while he will have a size advantage over Povetkin, Povetkin is one of the best amateur boxers of all time, had like 300 amateur fights and is technically 10 times better than Wilder. I'm pretty confident that Povetkin would knock Wilder out, I think possibly early in the fight. He's just way too experienced for Wilder.

Wilder is going to get his showcase/statement fight with this cab driver. And the Alabama DWFs will suck it all up.

Vacating the title to avoid Povetkin wouldn't be a bad idea for him since he is nothing more than a paper champion anyways.

Word is that Wilder will fight another optional defense before Povetkin. That means one more busboy and Povetkin will probably not fight Wilder until mid 2016! This guy is a clown who was knocked down by a 300 pound D level heavyweight. His handlers know he can' t handle a guy with power and boxing skills!

Deontay, "black-tar" Wilder has been feeding off a steady diet of bums and no-name fighters, while avoiding top-level boxers from Europe.

The DWFs and RHMs (race hating morons) are in for a rude awakening if the fraud that is Deontay ever gets in the ring with a top ten White man.

Rumour is that the end game for the PBC is to get their fighters to dump all of the alphabet straps. While I agree that the various sanctioning bodies are more a plague on the sport than true governing bodies. In this case it would be to obviously duck a challenger capable of koing a PBC champion.

Ps. Wilder's team already turned down 10 million to fight Povetkin in Moscow. I don't see how he can make that fighting anything less than ten Molina types. Unless he is willing to challenge Klitschko or Fury (if he pulls off the upset) he can't make that fighting various club fighters in Alabama.

Wilder fumbled and nearly got himself knocked out in round three; we know his chin on that long skinny neck is a bobble head. Molina is a slow footed, poorly skilled slug who faked getting knocked out in round 9. Now we know for certain Wilder is all hype; he's a contender that will get wrecked the first time he faces a real pro with power (like Battleship Potemkin).

Here here! Agree totally with the post fight synopsis. I was amazed that Molina with the body by Bluebell (kinda like mine) lasted as long as he did with Wilder. Just looking at it from a physical standpoint this should have been over 30 seconds after the opening bell. That being said, Molina is way tougher than Wilder is strong. You know the old 'book by its cover' adage. Hats off to a fellow Texan Molina for hanging in there! What a joke Wilder is. Pathetic how orgasmic the talking heads were as if Wilder was the greatest thing in boxing. Let's see him fight a European. Heck, I wager Tomas Adamek in his present condition and age would slay this joker!
