We couldn't ask for a more interesting matchup in any division than Huck vs. Lebedev.

Lebedev is probably better skilled and hits harder, but Huck hits hard too and is a naturally taller, longer man. Huck is fighting in his home country on his promoter's card, so Lebedev isn't going to be given any favors by the referee or judges.

It looks like our favorite racist, James Toney, may fight Denis Lebedev. His comments are just ridiculous and Lebedev should be able to take this clown out. Watch out Klitschko's, fat and lazy James Toney is coming for you. LOL!

You know, thinking people and we folks here at CF can laugh at this ridiculous rambling for what it is, but this bravado and boastfulness on the part of many, many black fighters and athletes in general is to their advantage. In addition to the obvious media play and great promotional boost that it gives to the afflete and the event, it also affords them opportunity.

Toney is washed up, and most people know it. Yet he can probably get almost any fight he wants because his big, loud, mouth is going to make money for everyone involved. A quiet, let-your-fighting-do-the-talking fighter, like the vast majority of white fighters, do not "sell" to people outside of the boxing mainstream, which is where the big money is. Similarly, the loud-mouthed braggadocious football, basketball or soccer player is going to get more opportunities because of the perceived (by the coaches) confidence by the player, where the quiet, hard working white player will wonder why they haven't been given a shot. See the thread on Channing Fugate in the college football forum for an illustration. Just ask for the damn ball!!

Some good points, FootballDad. However, Toney is not getting a fight with the Klitschko's. No way. He shouldn't even get one with Lebedev but his mouth took care of it.
 
Wow! It's about time Jones fights a real fighter. The only thing that worries me is the five inch height advantage that Jones has over Lebedev.

Great win from Denis! I have to admit in the past I was not a big fan of Denis. I preferred other Euro CWs like Huck, Masternak, but Lebedev has been winning me over with recent fights.

Im now a big Denis fan! Great KO win and he seems to be getting better every fight! Im a big Denis supporter and Id love to see him KO Guillermo Jones.

I have Lebedev as the best cruiserweight. Would love to see a rematch with Huck.

Apparently the rapper "Busta Rhymes" was in the audience and is a close friend of the Negro who was put to sleep by the superior Russian.
