Wake Forest basketball coach pleads not guilty after tourist is fatally punched in NY

NEW YORK (AP) -- A rising college basketball coaching star accused of throwing a punch that killed a New York City tourist who had apparently mistaken him for an Uber driver pleaded not guilty Thursday to an assault charge.

Wake Forest University assistant coach Jamill Jones attacked digital marketing guru Sandor Szabo around 1:15 a.m. last Sunday in Queens, causing him to fall and smash his head on the sidewalk, police said.

Szabo, visiting from Boca Raton, Florida, banged on the window of Jones' SUV while looking for his ride after his stepsister's wedding, police said.

A person familiar with the investigation told The Associated Press that Szabo may have been drunkenly knocking on car windows before Jones allegedly confronted him. The person spoke on the condition of anonymity because the person was not allowed to speak publicly.

The coach got out, followed Szabo to the sidewalk, clocked him and sped off, police said. Szabo never regained consciousness and was taken off life support Tuesday.

Jones, 35, of Kernersville, North Carolina, turned himself in to police Thursday, accompanied by a lawyer. He was arraigned Thursday night on a misdemeanor assault charge and released on his own recognizance after entering his plea. The coach's next court appearance is scheduled for Oct. 2, the Queens District Attorney's office said.

A White person who had done that would be facing manslaughter charges at the very least, perhaps even second-degree murder - and that's if the victim wasn't a member of a politically protected group. If the victim was a member of a protected group the White person would be charged with first-degree murder and a hate crime, or simply lynched on the spot by a mob of SJWs.

Negro targets underage girls for rape

Joel Ampadu (08.06.99) of Tivoli Gardens, Woolwich, Greenwich was sentenced to 11 years’ imprisonment on Friday, 17 August at Blackfriars Crown Court.

He was found guilty at the same court on 18 July to five counts of rape of a girl under the age of 13 years, three counts of rape of a girl under the age of 16 years and one count of sexual assault of a girl of 13 years. He was given a further three years on licence for dangerousness.

The court heard that in 2012, when the first victim was 13-years-old Ampadu raped her. The victim does not want specifics of the offence published.

In 2015 Ampadu met the second victim (12-years-old) in Maryon Park, Greenwich following an introduction by a male relative. He took her to a secluded spot and raped her. He raped her on a further four occasions, including in a car park in Creton Street, Woolwich. He was also found guilty of sexually assaulting her.

In October 2016, he raped a 15-year-old girl in the stairwell of a block of flats and at his home address; he filmed the incident on his phone.

In all cases, Ampadu used fear and intimidation to control his victims.

Detective Constable Amy Beautridge of the Met's Child Abuse and Sexual Offences Command (CASO), said: “Ampadu targeted these girls and then used fear to control and manipulate them for his own sexual gratification, often recording them on his mobile phone.

"The three young victims in this case have shown immense courage and bravery; not only in coming forward to report these despicable crimes, but also in seeing the investigation through to court.

"Their actions have helped to ensure that a dangerous, sexual predator has been removed from the streets and that he is no longer in a position to harm other young girls. I hope today’s sentence gives the victims some closure and that they are able to move forward with their lives.

“I hope that this conviction brings some closure for the complainants and would urge anyone who has been the victim of sexual violence to report the matter to Police.”
