These athletes are never going to learn. They are selfish people who mostly live for themselves and forget where they have come from growing up.

If I were making $50,000 a month, I would enjoy spending my money so much, you wouldn't be able to find me doing anything to get this priveledge taken away.

Starting cornerback for Waynesburg University stabs his younger twin brothers, killing one.
<DIV =story_line align=center>Stabbing of twins, arrest of brother triggers disbelief
<DIV =story_line align=left>

Troy Hill Jr., a good student and starting cornerback at Waynesburg University as a freshman, seemed to have a future with no limits on success.

Now the 18-year-old sits in jail, charged in the stabbing death of his 11-year-old half-brother Tyron and the wounding of Tyron's twin, Tyrel.

"I can't emphasize how shocked I am," said Neil Gordon, who coached Mr. Hill in his three varsity seasons at Penn Hills High School. "This kid was just perfect."

My first thoughts when reading this sad news were.....what the hell were the parents thinking when they gave such similar names to twins Tyron and Tyrel? Do you know how hard it is to tell black twin kids apart? There were a couple in my neighborhood where I grew up and if they ever get that cloning thing together they won't have anything on those dudes. It wasn't until they got older and had some knife scars on their faces that you could really tell them apart. And I will bet you that Troy really wanted to kill Tyrel but couldn't tell the difference.

It is a crying shame that scum like Troy are let anywhere near a University.

Why do we tolerate this?? Can't we have an alumni revolt over this? Something like: No donations until all the affirmative action black "student" athlete scholarships are terminated.

And what is this "future with no limits" BS? You get a black afflete scholarship to a division 2 university and all of sudden you're on your way to a 12 year NFL career?
What does the university get out of this--an extra interception or two each year? Extra fans? I can't believe that his presence on the team adds more than 2 fans to each game..

Hey Waynesburg alumni--make it a point to say that you will not attend any games, nor donate any money, until college recruiting is cleaned up and anyone remotely approaching scum like this are rejected from your university.

He flunked it like a math test. I'm thinking he was stoned to bejesus.

David Boston's toxicology results due back Friday
Last Update: 8/31 6:52 am
PINELLAS PARK -- Toxicology tests taken after the DUI arrest of Bucs wide receiver David Boston are due back Friday.

Last week, police say they found Boston asleep behind the wheel of his SUV at the intersection of 49th Street and Park Boulevard.

Investigators say the engine was running and the car was in drive.

Police arrested Boston after he failed a field sobriety test. A breathalyzer test later showed no alcohol in his system.

In September of '06, five black members of the Duquesne basketball team managed to get themselves shot at an on-campus blacks-only dance. Duquesne is a private Catholic university in Pittsburgh. The Pittsburgh media portrayed the fiveas innocent angels and great people with room brightening smiles who were simply in the wrong place at the wrong time as bullets whizzed into them.

One of the angels, Stuard Baldonado, was busted on drug charges last week. Then today we learn that this past May he dragged, beat and otherwise tortured his girlfriend in Miami. Lowlights:

According to an affidavit filed by Miami-Dade County police, Mr. Baldonado, a 6-foot-7 power foward, became enraged after he searched through his girlfriend's cell phone and found text messages from another man.

He then forced her into a hotel room in Miami and assaulted her with his fists and an iron. Police said he also took off his belt and whipped her.

He kept her captive in the room for another 30 minutes before she was able to leave with the couple's baby daughter, the affidavit said.

Vegas police question Simpson in casino break-in

LAS VEGAS -- Investigators questioned O.J. Simpson and named him a suspect Friday in a break-in at a casino hotel room involving sports memorabilia.

O.J. Simpson

AP Photo/Rob Carr

O.J. Simpson, seen in a file photo, told Las Vegas Police that memorabilia at the center of an alleged casino break-in belonged to him.

The break-in was reported at the Palace Station casino late Thursday night, police spokesman Jose Montoya said. He said investigators determined the break-in involved sports collectibles.

"When they talked to him, Simpson made the comment that he believed the memorabilia was his," Montoya said. "We're getting conflicting stories from the two sides."

Simpson was released after he and several associates were questioned, but he is considered a suspect in the case, Montoya said. He is believed to be in Las Vegas.

"We don't believe he's going anywhere," he said.

The Heisman Trophy winner, ex-NFL star and actor lives near Miami and has been a tabloid staple since his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend Ron Goldman were killed in 1994. Simpson was acquitted of murder charges, but a jury later held him liable for the killings in a wrongful death lawsuit.

Simpson has had to auction off his sports collectibles, including his Heisman Trophy, to pay some of the $33.5 million judgment awarded to the Goldman family.

On Thursday, the Goldman family published a book about the killings that Simpson had written under the title, "If I Did It," about how he would have committed the crime had he actually done it. After a deal for Simpson to publish it fell through, a federal bankruptcy judge awarded the book's rights to the Goldman family, who retitled it "If I Did It: The Confessions of a Killer."

Fred Goldman, Ron's Goldman's father, defended the family's decision to publish the book. He noted Simpson's penchant for breaking headlines.

"He brings attention to himself every time we turn around and he will continue to do that forever," Goldman said Friday on NBC's "Today Show."

Investigators in the casino case planned to give their report to prosecutors Friday, Montoya said. The district attorney's office will decide whether to pursue charges.

Simpson had been scheduled to give a deposition Friday in Miami in a bankruptcy case involving his eldest daughter. But it was rescheduled because Simpson had told attorneys that he would be out of town.

Patricia Jones, a woman at the Florida office of Simpson attorney Yale L. Galanter who identified herself as Galanter's associate, said Galanter was out of town and had been forwarded messages seeking comment.

The Palace Station, an aging property just west of the Las Vegas Strip, is one of several Station Casinos-owned resorts that cater to locals. The 1,000-room hotel-casino, with a 21-story tower and adjacent buildings, opened in 1976.

A company spokeswoman did not immediately return a call for comment.

Here is the latest details...LAS VEGAS -- O.J. Simpson was arrested Sunday and faces multiple felony charges in an alleged armed robbery of collectors involving the former football great's sports memorabilia, authorities said.

Simpson was arrested shortly after 11 a.m. without incident at the Palms hotel-casino, Capt. James Dillon said.

Prosecutors were preparing to charge Simpson with two counts of robbery with use of a deadly weapon, conspiracy to commit robbery, burglary with a deadly weapon, two counts of assault with a deadly weapon and coercion, according to Clark County District Attorney David Roger.

Roger said a conviction on the most serious charge, robbery with use of a deadly weapon, could bring a sentence of three to 35 years for each count.

"He is facing a lot of time," Roger said.

Simpson was being held at Las Vegas police offices pending the arrival of his lawyer, who was expected later Sunday, Dillon said.

"He was very cooperative, there were no issues," Dillon said.

Authorities said it was unclear when Simpson would be booked or arraigned, and they scheduled a news conference for 3 p.m. Pacific.

At least one other person has been arrested, and police said Sunday that as many as six people could be arrested for the alleged armed robbery that occurred in a room inside the Palace Station hotel-casino Thursday.

Simpson, 60, has said he and other people with him were retrieving items that belonged to him. Simpson has said there were no guns involved and that he went to the room at the casino only to get stolen mementos that included his Hall of Fame certificate and a picture of the former running back with J. Edgar Hoover.

Simpson told The Associated Press on Saturday that he did not call the police to help reclaim the items because he has found the police unresponsive to him ever since his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend, Ron Goldman, were killed in 1994.

"The police, since my trouble, have not worked out for me," he said, noting that whenever he has called the police, "It just becomes a story about O.J."

The Heisman Trophy winner, ex-NFL star and actor lives near Miami and has been a tabloid staple since his ex-wife and Goldman were killed in 1994. Simpson was acquitted of murder charges, but a jury later held him liable for the killings in a wrongful death lawsuit.

Goldman's father, Fred Goldman, said he looked forward to Simpson being convicted and jailed.

"Sadly, he's not behind bars for murdering my son. He's not behind bars for murdering Nicole," Goldman told The Associated Press. "This time, hopefully, he'll get what he deserves. He'll get jail time."

Police said two firearms and other evidence were seized at a private residence early Sunday.

Walter Alexander, 46, of Arizona, was arrested Saturday night on two counts of robbery with a deadly weapon, two counts of assault with a deadly weapon, conspiracy to commit robbery and burglary with a deadly weapon.

He was described as one of Simpson's golfing buddies.

"Walter was one of the two subjects who had a gun," Dillon said.

Alexander was released without bail on Saturday night, Dillon said.

Besides the two firearms, police said they seized other evidence during early morning searches of two residences, Lt. Clint Nichols said.

"It was evidence of a crime that was committed," Nichols said. "And I believe we recovered some clothing that the individual was wearing in the commission of the robbery."

Simpson said auction house owner Tom Riccio called him several weeks ago to say some collectors were selling some of his items. Riccio set up a meeting with collectors under the guise that he had a private collector interested in buying Simpson's items.

Simpson said he was accompanied by several men he met at a wedding cocktail party, and they took the collectibles.

Alfred Beardsley, one of the sports memorabilia collectors involved in the alleged robbery, has said he wants the case dropped and that he's "on O.J.'s side."

Ah, the Juice! I was wondering how long it would take before he made another ignominious re-entry into the news.

Although it's too bad this evil guy didn't get the chair, at least his stature has substantially diminished and continues to diminish. If he's guilty on this latest charge, I hope he gets the Max.

Terrelle Pryor from Jeannette High School east of Pittsburgh is generally considered the number one senior football recruit in the country by the Caste System recruiting services. He has a "diary" in one of the Pittsburgh newspapers (probably ghost-written) and is otherwise slobbered and drooled over by the media in this area. With all that going for him, soon to be college student-afflete Terrelle managed to get himself arrested the other day:

Jeannette High School senior Terrelle Pryor, considered by many the top all-around high school athlete in the country, was charged with disorderly conduct after an incident Saturday at Kennywood Park.

Sumo arrested and then cut by the Rams

Terrell arrested in Texas, then cut by Rams

The troubles continue to mount for offensive lineman Claude Terrell, who was arrested early Tuesday morning by Webster, Texas, police and charged with assault-family violence, a Class A misdemeanor.

But Terrell, 25, no longer is the Rams' problem. While Terrell was still being processed in the Harris County (Texas) Jail, the team cut Terrell, a fourth-round draft choice by the Rams in 2005 out of New Mexico.

"He was released for performance on the field, and just because of how he was playing," said Jay Zygmunt, the Rams' president of football operations-general manager. "This has been contemplated for a while."

As for Terrell's latest arrest, Zygmunt said, "That's a league matter."

Zygmunt was reached in Philadelphia, where he was attending the NFL owners meetings. Because he had been in meetings all day, Zygmunt said he wasn't aware of all the details of Terrell's arrest.

According to the Webster Police Department, officers were dispatched to a Hampton Inn in the area at 1:43 a.m. Tuesday because of a report of a disturbance. Upon arrival, officers made contact with a female victim.

"It was obvious to the officer that she had been assaulted," Webster police captain Thomas Claunch told the Post-Dispatch.

The victim, whose identity was not released, later said it was her husband -- Terrell -- who had assaulted her. Claunch said the victim initially refused treatment, but later was treated at a local hospital for a broken nose.

Claunch said Terrell also was issued what's called a magistrate's order of emergency protection. In other words, Terrell is allowed to have no contact with the victim -- whether it be in person, on the phone, on the Internet, etc.

Terrell currently is serving a two-year probation from a 2006 arrest for assault-causing bodily injury to a family member.

Following team meetings Monday at Rams Park, players are off until Wednesday. Terrell is from LaMarque, Texas; Webster is a Houston suburb. As of late Tuesday afternoon, Terrell remained in custody, and bond had yet to be set.

Terrell's agent, Chicago-based Kennard McGuire, said he had only a couple of brief conversations with Terrell on Tuesday.

"I cannot say anything until Claude and I have an opportunity to really talk and get the details on this matter," McGuire said.

Terrell has been in and out of coach Scott Linehan's doghouse for most of the 2006 and '07 seasons. This season, he was fined for showing up late to a team meeting prior to the season opener against Carolina. He subsequently was placed on the Rams' pregame inactive list for that game.

Team sources confirmed Tuesday that Terrell also has been fined repeatedly for failing to make weight at the Rams' weekly Friday weigh-ins.

Last week, Terrell "mouthed off" to Linehan at the end of practice, leading to a profanity-laced outburst by the normally even-keeled coach. Terrell said he later apologized to Linehan and the team. Linehan considered releasing Terrell after that incident, but didn't.

Linehan said Tuesday afternoon that Terrell's release was, "One hundred percent based on performance. It was contemplated a week ago."

"Off-the-field (problems), that's a league matter," Linehan said. "On-field (problems), is a team matter, and that includes adhering to the standards of the team."

Because of a rash of injuries on the offensive line, Terrell has started three games for the Rams at guard this season. Before his arrest, he was scheduled to start at left guard Sunday against Cleveland because of ankle injuries to center Brett Romberg forced more line re-shuffling.

With Terrell gone, the Rams now plan to start Milford Brown at left guard and Brandon Gorin at right tackle against the Browns. The team was working on a roster replacement for Terrell on Tuesday.

(Basketball Player)
In 1992, Williams was accused of smashing a beer mug over a patron's head at a Chicago bar. Two years later, he was accused of firing a semiautomatic weapon into the parking lot at the Meadowlands Sports Complex.

In the spring of 2004, he was tried on charges related to the killing of 55 year old limousine driver Costas "Gus" Christofi at his estate in New Jersey on February 14, 2002. Christofi had been hired to drive Williams's friends from a Bethlehem, Pennsylvania charity event to the mansion, about 30 miles northwest of Trenton, New Jersey. Published reports have said Williams was playfully twirling a shotgun while giving a tour of his 30,000-square-foot home when the weapon fired, hitting Christofi. At the time of Christofi's death, Williams was working as a studio analyst for The NBA on NBC.

That April, he was acquitted of the most serious charges against him, but the jury deadlocked on a charge of reckless manslaughter, and he currently faces a retrial on that charge. He also faces trial on four charges related to his alleged attempts to cover up the circumstances of the driver's death. News of the shooting was shocking because Williams had an easygoing and humorous reputation. His wife endorsed her husband and her love for him in her website. In January 2005, he began to play professionally again in the Continental Basketball Association. In January 2003, the family of Costas "Gus" Christofi settled with Williams in a wrongful death lawsuit for $2.75 million.

On April 21, 2006, an appeals court ruled that Williams can be retried on a reckless manslaughter charge stemming from the shooting death of Christofi

Kevin Walters?????!!!!

Oh my mistake, it was actually Jerome Mathis, I shouldn't have jumped to conclusions just because white guys in the NFL commit so many crimes.

And not just any wife but his "common-law, pregnant wife". This really moves Mathis up the depth charts, you know the team will rally behind him, the coach will give him a shot at a starting spot because "he's different now" he needs "another chance" and he's got a room brightening smile.

I bet the "wife" drops the charges.

Man, you need your own show. If the Political Cesspool ever comes back, they should bring you on from time to time, to do the news.

I think the pit bull was behaving aggressively BEFORE he chewed through the fence.

A fairly standard article these days. I just figured, why not post it? It might help to educate someone.

High School Football Player Gunned Down in L.A.

Police said they are seeking the public's help in identifying the suspects, whom officials described only as two Latino men in a white compact sedan. Investigators believe the shooting was not racially motivated. Jamiel was black.

WOW, them (psychic) investigators sure work fast.

Maybe it was "culturally" motivated...

You despise the culture that an alien race creates.

We need "Culture Crime" Legislation.

Note: If it would have been Whites in a White car, they would have instantly been declared "White Supremicists"

Yeah, the local media are wetting themselves and covering the "not racially motivated" angle heavily. The funny thing is that it is CLEARLY racially motivated. When I was in college I had a mexican roomate from one of the worst neighborhoods in L.A. and I asked him one time what would happen if I came to visit him. He told me that since I was White, I would likely only be robbed. But if I were Black I would be killed. This was 12 years ago, and things have clearly remained the same with the exception that they would probably kill Whites now as well.
