Starting June 11 the 2015 Copa America gets under way in Chile.
Four years ago in Argentina the matches were more memorable for bad pitches than good football. The Argentina v Uruguay semi-final was entertaining but not nearly as entertaining as Brazil's hilarious penalty misses against Paraguay.
The defending champs Uruguay will be without Luis Suarez who is still serving a suspension for last year's World Cup biting incident. Unfortunately he's being replaced by a black player, Diego Rolan, from Bordeaux. Messi and Aguero are listed in the Argentine squad so I assume they are playing. James Rodriguez should be there too for Columbia.
There are three groups:
Group A - Chile, Mexico, Ecuador, Bolivia
Group B - Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, Jamaica
Group C - Brazil, Venezuela, Peru, Columbia
The first match is between Chile and Ecuador on Thursday night June 11. Uruguay and Argentina play their first matches on Saturday June 13. Here is the full schedule:
