I think handing Strahan the NFL career sack record the way he did has helped his image in the media and helps him win these kinds of awards. Not taking anything away from his successful career, but those kind of sentimental (stupid in my opinion) gestures are lapped up by the U.S. media.

Plus in a way he has done Stahan no favors. His record is (or at least should be) forever tarnished by the fact he was gifted his last sack.

He's my favorite player in the NFL. I totally understand why some here hate on him but not me. He is one of the few larger than life white athletes out there and that's good for all of us at Caste Football.

I'm no expert on Brett Favre. That being said, you will not hear any criticism of white players from me. If there were 30 more Brett Favres in the NFL, the league would be a better place for white players for a variety of reasons. One of them being, all of the starting quarterbacks in the league would be white.

Besides, Favre's best friends on a very black team have always been white. Frank Winters, Don Beebe, those are the guys he has always associated with. Green Bay's always had virtually an all white offensive line.

Everything else aside, it's simple guys: He's white.

Brett Favre has always brought mixed emotions with me. I can't stand the guy for how at times he has come off as arrogant, didn't like how he handed the sack record to Strahan, thought his gunslinger style of play was a bit overrated and at times hurt his team and of course I can't watch someone shred my team over the years with a straight face say I like him. I don't like him. In years past, I couldn't wait for the day when he retired, However I have learned to respect what he has been able to accomplish over the years and acknowledge a true competitor when I see one. He has been good for the Packers and good for the Division. From the Standpoint of a Bears fan, Brett has always stood out to me for realizing the importance of Beating Chicago, when at times our own coaches have looked to the Packers as just another game on our schedule. Brett has always had the highest drive to go out and compete against the chief rival in his division and that is the way it should be. I salute him for that.Edited by: Bear Backer

Perhaps I am biased against Favre not just for the Strahan thing but also because he plays at Green Bay. OK, I know some people think Green Bay are OK because they have above average number of white starters. But these players are all at the caste allocated positions of Linemen, Linebackers or QB.
When was the last time Brett Favre completed a pass to a white wide receiver in an NFL game?
It was probably Schroeder about seven years ago!
I know he shouldn't be blamed for personnel decisions at Green Bay, so I accept I am being a bit irrational. He's got a job to do.
I just feel he is quite happy throwing the ball to the black receivers year after year and dosn't give a **** about white receivers such as Ball, Hass, Kasper, Standeford, etc not getting a shot. If Favre played for the Rams the Pats or the Colts I would probably be able to like him a lot more than I do.

He certainly showed his friendship to his white offensive line by gifting the sack record to Strahan. A line that vowed before the game in no uncertain terms that he would not set the sack record playing against them.

Ask Mark Chmura about Favre's friendship.

To be honest, my only real problem with Favre is that John Madden has the biggest mancrush in the history of the world on him. Actually, he is a pretty fun QB to watch, because unlike a lot of guys, he will go out and take the chances needed to try to win games. He isn't a guy who is content to take what the defense gives him.

As a Vikings fan, I'll be glad to see him leave so that Green Bay can go back to being the joke of the league for 30 years again.

Much as the greatest enemy white people face in this country are other deluded whites, the handful of white stars still allowed to prosper in the NFL are the greatest allies the Caste System has. I don't care how great Brett Favre may be- in my mind he is an obnoxious redneck who has no problem with the way so many other white players have been and still are being mistreated in the NFL.

Favre is respected by all the jock-sniffers in the media and all the black players precisely because he is just as stupid and arrogant as they are. His best friend on the Packers was supposedly TE Mark Chmura. Favre never once said a word in public supporting his "best friend" after Chmura was accused of statutory rape. Favre never attended his trial, as so many idiotic white coaches do when some black player is on trial, and never said anything publicly about Chmura after he was acquitted. I don't think any of us need "best friends" like that. His treatment of Bill Schroeder was inexcusable. The only reason Schroeder was so irrationally hated by drunk white fans and jock-sniffing "journalists" is because he was a white WR. Favre could have defused that with just a little word or two of support for him. Instead, he could be seen shouting at him, up in his face, after every mistake he made. Funny, I don't recall this white idol ever doing that to the slew of stone-handed black WRs that have traversed their way through the Packers organization. Finally, there is the Strahan incident, which was wrong on so many levels. It is unforgivable for any athlete to ever drop the facade of combatant during a supposedly competitive contest, but Favre was so dumb that he couldn't even make it look halfway realistic. The fact that he gave a record to a black player that was formerly held by another irrationally despised white player (Mark Gastineau) should make everyone here angry. Picture a white QB falling down like that for a Jared Allen or an Aaron Schobel, so that they could break Bruce Smith's sack record. Do you think the jock-sniffers would have chuckled and overlooked that? Do you think that any black players might have spoken out about the "injustice," the "conspiracy," the "fix" behind something that illegitimate?

In my mind, Favre is forever tainted by that disgraceful display when he laid down on the field for Strahan.

Gentlemen:

I'm not one to tell anyone how to think, but I just wish someone would
explain this to me. The best, toughest, most well liked, most charismatic
most successful QB in the history of the game gets denigrated, is it on
the Nation of Islam Sportsblog? No, actually, they've never said a word
about Brett Favre.

http://nationofislamsportsblog.blogspot.com/search/label/bre tt%20favre

No, the denigration comes from castefootball.us. A website devoted to,
well, how is it so eloquently written on the 'About Us' page?"

"Caste Football's goal is to see that white athletes are respected for their
abilities, and that they receive the same opportunities to succeed as non-
white athletes."

And this white man gets it from all sides: he doesn't back up Bill
Schroder in his contract talks he's a sellout redneck, he does the same to
Javon Walker, he's a Klansman! He lets a buddy of his have a meaningless
sack he's 'compromising the integrity of the game.' He tries to get his
team to trade for the best wide receiver in the game this off-season and
he's 'compromising the cohesiveness of the team.' He has two teenage
daughters and he doesn't want to be friends with a guy who was arrested
for statutory rape. OOOOOh, what a turncoat.

And what about the guy who's record Strahan broke, almost universally
despised by other NFL players, he would be known for two things today if
he still had the sack record, that and BEING THE FIRST JAGOFF IN NFL
HISTORY TO DO A STUPID CELEBRATION DANCE AFTER MAKING A
TACKLE!

I'll tell ya' I have a daughter but if I ever have a son and he turns out like
Brett Favre I will be very proud:

He's tough
He's a leader
He's the best a what he does
He proves the experts wrong
He never misses a day of work
He seems like a great family man

And some of you guys hate him because he's a footall player and he's not
playing clubhouse lawyer like some white Al Sharpton.

And who is it that we save our love for? Lovable losers like Leonard who
run for 3.4 yards a carry and Lumdsen and David Ball who CAN'T MAKE A
FREAKIN' TEAM!

It's hard to defend him, since he is strongly pro-caste, and actively dislikes his backup.

There are a couple of quarterbacks who are better, so I can be spared the lecture on how Favre is the best ever.

He also can't win at Dallas, which is kind of strange, but it will prevent him from getting to the Superbowl this year. The greatest quarterback ever doesn't go 0-9 at Dallas.Edited by: nevada

Tartan Pride,
Defend Favre for all he's done, but complain about Gastineu for dancing after a sack?? Why is being 'almost universally despised' by a sports league that is 70%+ black, and a cornerstone of the caste system, considered a bad thing? Should I let what the league thinks of a white player help me determine what I think of him?

People here are pissed because of the way Favre treated Schroeder on the FIELD, not because of a contract dispute. Treated in a way that Favre has NEVER treated a black player.

If the sack record is meaningless, why did Favre give it away? If it didn't matter, why would he care? Strahan and the the rest of the league 'almost universally' believe having a record like that is a big deal. That record stood for 17 years. If records are meaningless, why does Favre continue to start every game even when he isn't injured? Is the season touchdown passing record meaningless as well?

Why do you have to defend Favre by denigrating other white players? 'Lovable losers?' WTF is that nonsense? I guess you don't think Leonard, Ball, or Haas deserve a shot, huh? Doesn't matter that Leonard''s 3.6 yards per carry is STILL better than some of the black's that are starting running backs in the league, right? Got any other white players you want to throw under the Favre bus?

Favre is a douchebag. yeah, he's good, but he's just as caste as Holmgren, Reid or Del Rio, in his own way.

Mark Gastineau was a beast who didn't play by rules and didn't behave in a humble, quiet way expected from white players, that's why he was despised.

And another thing Tartar Pride what's this business about Favre not having to support his good friend Chmura because he has teenage daughters? First of all his daughters were not teenagers at the time, secondly you should support a friend accused of a crime unless you know he's guilty and thirdly Chmura was found innocent.

I guess we're back to hating on Favre

There will always be some disagreements on a forum like this because we are accustomed to being in the minority as we fight against the mainstream worldview that constantly attacks, degrades, and mocks the athletic abilities of whites. Personally, I just want to say that I have full respect for all of the members of this forum who have the courage to battle the Caste System day in and day out.

I would hope that we would all agree that the "lesser known" white players like Leonard, Hass, Urban, Dustin Fox, etc. (who play positions where whites are clearly caste out of and have been treated ridiculously unfairly) deserve our support the most.

For example, when I watched the Packers play back in 1998 and he was the starting tailback, there was one player I was focused on rooting for, Travis Jervey.

I believe our future is bright.Look at tonight's College Football Award program in Orlando. All three Butkus finalists are white. Two of the three finalists for the Thorpe Award are white. Jordy Nelson is aBilentnikoff finalist, plus Tim Tebow is going to win the Heismann.

Serious holes are being drilled into the Caste System. I'm grateful to be able to share in the success of our white athletes with my like-minded cohorts here on Caste Football. Thanks, guys.

I'm sensing "troll" from Tartan Pride. Leonard ran for "3.6 yards per carry" against the most injured and atrocious o-line in the league this year. Lumsden is even better than Leonard and could be a top 5 RB IMO. He is tearing it up in the CFL and ran for almost 8 YPC for the CFL's worst team.
Lumsden is unbelievable. Lumsden has 4.43 speed and is a great cutback power runner with a burst to outrun LBs and reach the next level.

How are those guys lovable losers. These are some of the best white talents playing caste positions and this is after all "caste football." It seems like you believe there is no caste system "Tartan Pride" or should I say "Texas Tech."

It isn't any surprise to me for someone like Tartan Pride to defend Favre, while holding to the Caste party line with all the white players who are being actively discriminated against. As I've pointed out so many times, Favre is idolized by the media talking heads, who hate just about every other white player. Why would they love this guy so much? Maybe it's because he's the NFL's version of Bill Clinton, our first black President.

Hearing Travis Jervey's name made me wonder- did Favre ever stand up and demand that the Packers give this incredibly fast and explosive RB a chance to start? Or did he treat him like he treated Bill Schroeder? Just curious.

A couple of weeks ago Cory Bradford formerly of the Packers was invited as a guest on a local sports talk show. Favre had broken theTD record and the host was soliciting stories about him from former teammates who had caught passes for touchdowns. Other players previously on the show and Bradford all said that Favre loves to wing it and kind of play a sandlot game. The host asked him what he did when plays broke down and Favre scrambled? Bradford said he always went deep, which was contrary to what had been taught by the coaches, whowantedthe receivers to come back towards theQB to help him out. The host was somewhat shocked to hear that. After all, doesn't everybody know and preach that the receiver should come back for the ball? Cory said Favre often told them he didn't want them to come back but to break the pattern and run a fly . I wish he would have made this known sooner. Many wideouts on the team havebeen accused of not being on the same page in those types of situations which sometimes resultedin disasters. Schroeder on a couple occassions was made the goat by the fans and press when Brett was intercepted. Why didn't he come back and help Brett?Of course no one on the team offered any insight as to why these things seemed to happen so frequently.

Favre passed Dan Marino today to become the all-time leader in passing yardage. Afterward he conducted himself with class and humility like he always does. Count me among Favre's fans. That's a tremendous record to break, equivalent to being the all-time rushing leader even though for some peculiar reasonrushing records get far more attention from the media. The build-up to Emmit Smith surpassing Walter Payton went on for years before it actually occurred, while Favre's milestone was barely mentioned before it took place.

It is a fact that rushing records have always gotten more media attention. In 1967, Joe Namath was the first QB to pass for over 4000 yards in a season. Very little was made of it, and Namath was a big name playing in New York. Johnny Unitas set the record for a 12 game season with 3099 in 1960. Sonny Jurgensen passed for 3723 in a 14 game season for Philadelphia in 1961.

It may be that the thinking is that a running back has to put out more individual effort in running for a lot of yards than a QB does in passing for big yardage. The QB is thought to have more help from the entire offense.

On the other hand, a QB is ALWAYS more important than a RB. You would think that the NFL and the media would celebrate great quarterbacks who set passing records as much as great runners with rushing records.
