it’s quiet here this morning ...

#17 Utah started off the weekend last night with an upset over #10 Oregon in the Pac-12 Championship game.

the Utes were led by the small but dynamic wide receiver/return man, Britain Covey. he finished the game with game-highs of 5 catches and 72 yards receiving, and he also had a kick return for 39 yards (the longest return of the game) and 3 punt returns for 12 yards.

Utah junior tight end Dalton Kincaid was the second leading receiver in the game with 4 catches for 61 yards and 1 touchdown, the Utes’ sole passing score of the contest. tight end Brant Kuithe had a quiet game, with only 1 catch for 12 yards.

let’s hope more of our guys have big days today.

edited to correct the tight end’s name.

Watching OSU v Baylor. Baylor backup QB, Blake Shapen, looking very sharp. OSU’s mulatto turnover machine, Spencer Sanders, has 2 INT’s in the first quarter. He looks punch drunk. If this continues, they need to insert Illingsworth in the 2nd half.

Good to see OSU starting a snow plow OL. Freshman WR John Paul Richardson has seen a lot of snaps. His dad was early ‘90’s Texas A&M QB Bucky Richardson.

Also, a nice forced fumble by LB Malcolm Rodriguez.

Thanks for starting thread Jimmy C!

Western Kentucky QB / Leading Passer in the Nation Bailey Zappe 577 YARDS PASSING! 4 TD's in 49-41 loss to UTSA. Fellow ex team mate (Houston Baptist transfer) WR Ben Ratzlaff only 1 rec for 19 yards.

Baylor back up QB Blake Shapen INSANE 17 for 17 passing! .....and he can run too! Only 2nd career start! Finally an incompletion in the corner of end zone. (17 /21 now)
WR Drew Estrada(Dartmouth transfer) TD catch
Yes indeed Okie St freshman WR JP Richardson should have a bright future. Dad Bucky was Tim Tebow before there was a Tim Tebow. 1st career run80 yard TD Run!

Northern Illinios RB/FB Clint Ratkovich TD Run ...up 17-0 vs Kent St. QB Dustin Crum has to step it up!

This Playoff could have a much different look. College Football has been wide open for the taking. Stoked about UGA / Bama ....it is "now or never" for the Favorite #1UGA.

FCS.....Stud QB 6'-7" 260lbs Cole Kelly (Leads FCS 4,727 Yards Passing + 42 TD's + 16 TD's rushing)..announcer said "he has sneaky athleticism" ; SE LA plays #3 James Madison U. led by QB Cole Johnson play at 1:00 CST

NICE to see Utah WR / Punt Returner Britian Covey stay healthy thru the season! Dude has elite cutting/change of direction like a video game! ...had a nice 39 yard kick return

Definitely pulling for UGA this afternoon with their White, Cinderella story QB and his stud receivers in Bowers and McConkey………and they even have a pale face at safety. Mixed feelings on Iowa/Michigan. Iowa is probably the whitest Power 5 program……..but with the two losses they would probably be left out of the playoffs. Michigan is in if they win with a White QB and the fantastic Hutchinson on defense. If Georgia and Iowa win, Notre Dame would probably be in the show if the ‘committee’ has the balls to ax a two loss Bama team.

3rd INT for OSU QB Spencer Sanders, early in the 3rd quarter. This is OSU’s best and only chance to ever make the playoff. Gundy needs to mix it up and put in Illingsworth.

He should have! Sanders cost them the game with his 4INTs....

Utah State WR Brandon Bowling 3 catches for 54 already in the 1st quarter! Including a diving catch that he laid out for!

Former Walk-On and Utah State Edge Nick Heninger with a sack. Believe that's his 6th of the season. Good player, should be on NFL 3-4 defenses radar. Assuming he'd be a great value pick late in the Draft. He's also in line to be a pilot, so no character issues.

Former Walk-On Derek Wright with his 11th TD of the season! Impressive body control and double toe tap along the sideline!

B. Bowling can really play. So exciting to watch. I like watching Utah State in Football and Basketball. I was also happy to see Utah crush Oregon last night. The Oregon
Ducks get more hype than any Pac 12 Team and they got humbled again. Love it!

Yessir! QB Logan Bonner also tossed his 33rd TD of the Season. Broke Jordan Love's single season team record.

Oregon really finished the season flat! I don't mind it!

Quiet afternoon on here but Baylor - Oklahoma State had A LOT more white players than expected. Looks like each team started about 7-9 white players. Freshman Baylor QB Blake Shapen had 3 TDs, including one to WR Drew Estrada who was also returning punts. LBs Dillon Doyle and freshman Matt Jones also played very, very well for Baylor. For OK State, Brendon Evers and Brock Martin played very well on the DL. WR John Paul Richardson looks poised to break out for OSU next year.

I watch a limited amount of SEC football, for obvious reasons..
But damn, Bowers is a stud....
Hoping to catch a Cash Jones moment, but I know he’s buried on the depth chart.

I know Alabama is always good but this was not the typical team. Georgia did not prepare with the right game plan. Hard to watch but maybe it will
be a good thing to remotivate the Bulldogs going into the College Playoff.

Let's Go Iowa. Michigan would be ok too but I just love the Hawkeyes!
