Probably because he plays 8-man. And he's destined for linebacker, which is not a position where whites are discriminated against on the college level.

I'm not going to post his stats because I don't really know about 8-man football and how it equates to 11-man. Just watch his video. Skill doesn't lie. And BYU thinks he's good enough to play for them. I just wish he'd get a chance to play on the offensive side of the ball. He says they want him up to 240lbs.
