No offense Raider but Alabama's Slade Bolden was said by their coach he could play for us anywhere on the field. What makes you think he might not end up at corner instead of safety.
In some good news FIU now has CJ Worton on their roster as a junior wr after originally signing with FSU and transferring to Florida before inexplicably disappearing two years ago. Also a cb I hyped for Boise State , Garrett Binkley cb also inexplicably dissapeared has now wound up on the San Diego State's roster. And Arizona junior rb Brandon Leon looks to be the primary backup this season after running for a 6.1 ypc average in 19 attempts last year. Good stuff.

In more inexplicable news, as I errrr ?? I mean McCaffrey Dude reported that senior BYU receiver , Beau Tanner was being moved to cb , as he is the team's fastest player is now transferring to an unspecified school. I guess cb/db coach Ben Criddle ( former two year starter at corner for BYU ) could not see him cracking the 2 deep though I don't know if that is the real explanation. Criddle's son , MAtt C. is looking for playing time as a " free safety as a freshman but of course even old good white corners are now prejudiced against their own family members from trying out for corner. Like former Oklahoma coach , Bob Stoops was really going to give his 2 sons a scholarship and let them actually compete at caste positions. Riiggghhht. :(

Such a joke and proof positive of the caste system that Abey has been moved to Wr for a black qb for his senior season. They play in an option offense so he is pretty much going to be on the fringe of the playbook. I guess his 1400 yds rushing, 19 tds and being a senior at an academy aren’t enough to keep as a starting qb since they have dat upside at qb now.

Iowa 5th-year Safety, Brandon Snyder, leaves program.

I saw that - was somewhat disappointed that he dropped to the FCS but hopefully he remains on the NFL radar:

Iowa redshirt senior S Brandon Snyder transferred to South Dakota State.

This one wrapped quickly. News of Snyder's transfer intent broke on Tuesday morning, with his ultimate destination known just after lunchtime. The 6-foot-1, 210-pounder has had a rough time of things over the last year-plus, tearing his left ACL last spring, re-tearing it in the fall against Illinois and then capping it all off with an OWI arrest in December. With South Dakota State, he'll try to reignite his NFL prospects out of the relative spotlight. Draft Analyst's Tony Pauline hits up Snyder with a fourth-round grade for the spring, though he's going to have to face questions on several fronts both on and off the field if he's to make good on that respectable projection.

The one good thing out of the Snyder transfer is that him and Jake Gervase are no longer competing for the job. Jake Gervase should be out on the field most of the time for Iowa this year with Snyder gone for good.

Also a 4th round grade for a white safety transferring to FCS level is encouraging, and glad he ended up a Jackrabbit !

All things considered, South Dakota State is a good landing spot. They've come a long way in the last decade and are starting to rival NDSU in stature in that division.

They are taking advantage of all of those overlooked White prospects in the upper Midwest/Plain States that should be playing in Division I but don't have the requisite level of melanin.

I think the OWI was the real reason. Ferentz doesn't like that stuff. Better to have another White Safety starting on another team than being second string on some other team...especially when it's your final year.

I wouldn't mind seeing Urban get canned here. I don't agree with the reasoning or trying to link him to another's actions but I really dislike him and he adheres to the caste system.

Ohio State HC Urban Meyer has been placed on paid administrative leave while the program investigates his possible knowledge of earlier domestic violence accusations against former WR coach Zach Smith.

College football insider Brett McMurphy published several reports on Wednesday morning alleging that Meyer previously knew about allegations of domestic violence against Smith from 2015. He denied outright during Big Ten Media Days last week that he was aware of these complaints. OSU moved to terminate Smith last Tuesday. With Meyer on leave for at least the start of August camp, OC Ryan Day will work as acting head coach in the short term. We'll pass along updates as information warrants. Ohio State opens the season against Oregon State on Sept. 1.

Some IVY LEAGUE NEWS!!!!

I wish the games started later because I don't get home early enough for the first halves but ESPN has bought a mini package of Ivy League games. If you recall last year MSNBC was televising some games late in the week.

This go around six IVY League games will be telecast on Friday nights which includes one Saturday game featuring who else "The Game" (Harvard-Yale).

Princeton with WR Jesper Horsted will be featured once. Meanwhile Yale and RB favorite here Zane Dudek will be televised three times!! Must see TV. I may have a chance of seeing more Yale games on a local broadcast on Saturdays like last season but I don't know for sure.

See below article and schedule.

Just saw Cole Hest tore his acl and Mike Dudek has another knee injury that will keep him out for the rest of the year. Unreal

That probably ends Dudek's career, including a good shot at the NFL...not that there's really such a thing for a skilled White player.

After a first half of overwhelming dominance there are whispers DE Nick Bosa could be a Heisman candidate. No DE has ever won the Heisman but if he continues to play like he did Saturday look out.

I watched most of the first half and he was going around and through defenders as if they weren't even there!

BSPN article...The Sad State of Power 5 Football in Florida

How does this happen at two schools in a fertile recruiting hotbed, where athletes and speed freaks should fill every inch of the roster? Recruiting misses hurt both schools, but so has a lack of player development and accountability.

You can see that in the way the teams look when they play. There are no obvious leaders on the field, no alphas calling the shots. Nor is there any swagger, the type that the Seminoles carried with them when they crushed their opponents en route to the national title in 2013, the type the Gators always had when they competed for championships a decade ago. There is no physicality, no aggressiveness. Players passively go through the motions, hoping against hope not to make a mistake.

These are all signs the cultures at both schools had to change, and rooting out bad attitudes and bad habits does not automatically happen when a new coach takes over.

When you've purged almost all of the Whites on your team, you've also purged the "Football IQ", or just the IQ in general. It's a microcosm of what's happening to Western Civilization, in general...dysfunction, chaos and retrograde...along with single mothers.

Virginia Tech dismisses starting DE from team:

One day after one of the most shocking losses in program history, Virginia Tech was dealt another blow when the school announced defensive end Trevon Hill had been dismissed from the team.

Hill, who led the Hokies with 3.5 sacks this season, was dismissed for "not upholding the high standards we have for our student-athletes," head coach Justin Fuente said in a statement.

Oklahoma just fired D Coordinator Mike Stoops.

Love to see coaches get fired even though they have their team stocked with 4 and 5 star supposedly magical affletes. I am sure Oklahoma's defense will continue to get gashed week in and week out.

USC LB Porter Gustin is out for the season. Hopefully he heals up and is ready for the Senior Bowl and combine. Injuries have really hampered his career the past two seasons but overall he should be a 3rd round pick at the very least.

Sticking with the standout edge player theme Ohio State DE Nick Bosa has decided to leave school to concentrate on the NFL Draft. Sad to hear this as Ohio State was developing an interesting defense with three key white starters.

Very disappointing. The good news is most feel his current "core" injury will not affect his NFL draft status. He is still expected to be the number one player selected!!

Bad year for the Bosa brothers as his older brother Joey has yet to suit up for the Chargers this season.
