Matthew Hurt for Duke stroked out tonight and killed Virginia. He was an odd story to pick the Dukies as they went full-on Teenage Wasteland, since he could've gone anywhere he wanted to play. He was a borderline "two-and-done" out of high school. I wonder how else he scores these days.

No love for Michigan and their 3 big Whities? Beat OSU in a close game. Dickinson at 7'1" is going to go HIGH in the draft.

No doubt about it another strong club. Dickinson and Wagner should both be Drafted!

WOW! Check out this College Basketball thread! Some serious action! Still early ; but Gonzaga vs. Iowa in the Championship would be interesting!

Watching Zach Fremantle for the first time. What a smooth athlete!!
Yes indeed ...saw the stats for the 6'-9" Zach Freemantle (Xavier) ...last two games 30 pts / 15 rebs & 22 pts/10 rebs

Also a head's up on a raw prospect 7'-1" Balsa Koprivica (Florida State); has a way to go; but see some potential.

So many great white athletes playing today. I haven’t watched college basketball for 2 years but my wife and kids are out today and I’m snowed in. Pleasantly suprised with this action. Golden is a Brute for butler!

Freemantle plays with some balls which a lot of these highly gifted white athletes lack. Just got called for a bs pdww. Old school bulls big man dickey Simpkins agreed.

to be fair, Penn State has two White players, and they’re both key contributors. the case could easily be made that John Harrar, their lone White starter, is the best player on the team. he’s by far their top rebounder, is a solid scoring threat, and is an elite defender. he also clearly knows where the weight room is, because the dude is chiseled (unlike so many basketball players). Trent Buttrick is their next best big, but he comes off the bench, as PSU plays small most of the time. Buttrick has a sweet shot from the perimeter in addition to the unfortunate last name.

as for Iowa, they are VERY good but also highly flawed. if they’re playing well, they have a legitimate shot to make it to the Final Four. but if they’re playing poorly (not sharing the ball, not playing tough defense, settling for too many jump shots), they could be eliminated in the first-round. i’m obviously cheering for them (they’re the only team in the nation i know of that starts 5 White athletes), but i’ve watched them enough to know.

Michigan’s Dickinson and Wagner are two of my favorite players. they will be getting paid very soon.

i’ve not watched either Xavier of Florida State this year, because ... well, has FSU featured a White cat since Bobby Sura? good to know they have a couple of guys to cheer for.

Does it seem like there are more White players at the major college programs? Maybe the success of the Gonzaga's and Wisconsin's of the world have moved the needle a little bit. You have to believe that more White guys are easier for the programs to handle. Less crime, better grades, and when they finally have to start paying them, probably cheaper.

Today was a pleasant suprise for me flint! I doubt most of them will get a chance in the nba though. In my opinion mark price, danny ainge and even the great John Stockton wouldn’t get a sniff in today’s age. Wouldnt you guys agree? Max strus had 23 points in less than 30 minutes for the heat last week and then had and dnp coaches decision the other night. It’s amazing how these guys get a screwed in the nba. It’s hard to blame them though if they can just stick around the league for a few years and cheer on there black teammates they can earn a damn good living and a pension.

Virginia (currently ranked #15) was upset last night by NC State, though UVA’s two White starters played very well.

Jay Huff had 19 (6/12 shooting) points (and game-highs of 11 rebounds,3 steals, and 5 blocks, while Sam Hauser had a game-high 21 points (7/16 shooting, 5/11 from three). the duo also combined for only ONE turnover.

the rest of the team was a combined 7 for 26 shooting, scored 21 points (to the White duo’s 41), and had 7 turnovers. perhaps more gym rats are needed?

***************

at 6:00pm central tonight, ESPN features a contest between two outstanding teams, with likely the two best centers in the collegiate ranks (senior Luka Garza of Iowa and freshman Hunter Dickinson of Michigan) and two of the most talented wings in the country (Iowa’s 6-foot-6 junior Joe Weiskamp and Michigan’s 6-foot-9 sophomore Franz Wagner). Iowa starts an all-White lineup as well as two of their top three reserves, while Michigan always starts two of our guys with reserve big man Austin Davis getting substantial playing time.

if you have some free time this evening, you might want to check it out. on paper it looks appealing.

Wagner has 17 and is scoring at will from anywhere on the floor. All the while being very efficient. NBA teams would be crazy not to want him!

Wagner is legit. if i were picking a starting five, he’s on the list.

Iowa showed their weakness tonight. when the refs allow “physical” play, they don’t have a guy who can create off the dribble. their best player in this type of game (in my opinion) is their long, lanky, athletic sophomore big Jack Nunge. sadly, he looks to be done for the year with a knee injury.

I was thoroughly impressed with Wagner. He's made awesome progression throughout his career. It's fun to see his Basketball IQ couple with his size/speed/handles. They were comparing him to Magic Johnson with some of the passes he was making against Iowa!

They definitely needed Nunge sad to see his career derailed by injuries..

Agreed JC Iowa's achilles heel seems to be physicality, which is kind of ironic with a bunch of Honkeys. Usually not a problem.

Wieskamp deserves some pro buzz as well. 6'6 200lb Wing Averaging 15ppg nearly 7rbg and shooting 48 percent from 3. I'd say he fits what NBA wants to do perfectly.

Weiskamp undoubtedly has the size, athleticism, and skill level to be an NBA pro ... sadly, he’s soft.

Wisconsin Vs Illinois is getting ready to start. As soon as overrated Tennessee loses to average Auburn.

* Auburn True Freshman Justin Powell has been great in the 10 games he's played this year. Should be a huge factor for Auburn going forward. Don't think they've ever had anybody for me to cheer for. I know he's been mentioned before but he's moved around last few years in HS kind of lost track of the guy!
