Steven Colbert is freakin hilarious. Anyone ever watch his show? He's a pro white, jesus loving, American man.
Great show.

He's much, much, much funnier!
I agree that it would be great to have more conservatives on the air. But I love comedy, and I'll take what I can get. IMO, The funniest shows on TV (Colbert Report, Family Guy, South Park, etc.) are made by liberals. That's just the way it is. I would love to see a conservative version of Stephen Colbert, Seth MacFarlane, Trey Parker/ Matt Stone, Conan O'Brien, etc. What can I say, life isn't fair. I would love to see a white Ladainian Tomlinson or Maurice Green, too, but that ain't happening, either! (Not in the foreseeable future anyway.) It seems like it's okay to be "politically incorrect" as long as deep down you're still a liberal.
And like Don alluded to, you don't have to be a liberal to enjoy the mocking of the Bush Administration. Bush sucks A$$!!!

Don Wassall said:Last night he aired an interview with Steve Cohen, an ultra-liberal Democrat Congressman from Tennessee who has attempted to join the House's Black Caucus and Women's Caucus. Colbert asked Cohen if he is a black woman, then asked him if he was Tennessee's first Jewish Congressman, then followed that up by asking him if he was Tennessee's first ever Jew. The idea is to get laughs through Colbert's silliness and puffed-up ego rather than engage in serious political discussions.

I love Colbert though, cause even though he "plays" a conservative, he does a great job of bashing both sides.
JD074 mentioned that the South Park guys are liberals, but they're are actually conservatives, even though they make fun of both sides. The problem is there aren't any conservative guys who like Bill Maher don't claim to be bipartisan. A couple of years ago there was a great show right after the Daily show called Tough Crowd, where a conservative comic, Colin Quinn and a bunch of his other comedian friends, most of whom were also conservative would discuss politics and generally bash the left. I loved that show but aparently they got mediocre ratings and were conceled for Colbert.
It's pretty funny and it hits liberals from every conceivable direction. They even did a skit this week on a "investigative report on four year old pre-shool sexual harrassers". It was pretty funny.Bronk said:Tough Crowd was good. I would listen to it while I worked on the computer and was surprised at how "working class white" it was.
Has anyone seen Fox's Half Hour Comedy Hour? I fear it is a neocon splack job.

I served my four years in the armed services and did my time. I would choose to answer your question if you had come at me in a more respectable manner. Take care of yourself newbieRoundabout said:Ok, I am fairly new this board, so I am sure this has been asked. But I need to know, guest301, why do you support Bush's foreign policy? Also, if you support the"war on terror" what are you doing here? Why haven't you enlisted?
