Class of 2026

Packers WR they drafted out of A&M had 9 drops. This bum had 10. Dat upside!
I read that article and it talks about how he was touted as having world class speed. The reality is that he just doesn't. Not even close actually. His wind legal personal best in the 100 is 10.30. That is very fast of course for a high school varsity track team, but not anywhere close to world class to be honest. He also was never able to get below 21 seconds in the 200m. To me this shows that he doesn't have elite speed endurance, suggesting that he may have issues with getting caught on a break away run. With the added weight to his frame for the NFL and his switch from track focused training in college to football training, this guy is probably just a 10.5 or 10.6 guy on his best day and that's probably where a lot of defensive secondaries land speed wise. I'm not a football expert like a lot of you here, but my scouting report would probably place this guy at maybe a 2nd or 3rd spot on a depth chart at best and only if he's on a team with a weak receiving core. His lack of break out progress on the the track as a collegiate means he isn't suddenly going to get more explosive or any faster. He's probably not a deep threat against most defenses unless they are really slow and unless he's an expert route runner, his success in the NFL will be very limited. This is actually the embodiment of "limited upside" in my opinion. A 10.3 white guy is never going to be touted as a deep threat or said to have world class speed.
