I didn't see a thread so I thought I would start it. As many of you know I like to highlight many kids from around the country. For many lurkers this is where much of the discrimination starts. There are many white kids dominating high school football who don't get a shot at college. I will highlight many, some will have offers, others will not. Five to watch.

William Tonsmeire- Plays RB for Vestavia Hills High School in Alabama. They are a 7A School. He is super explosive. 0-60 in a blink of an eye. He is currently committed to Southern Miss for baseball. I don't believe he has any offers for football currently. https://www.hudl.com/profile/4681150/William-Tonsmeire

Jackson McCarter- Plays RB for Patriot High School in Virginia. He rushed for 1,804 yards and 24 TD's. Ran a 10.88 100M as a 10th grader. He has a great combination of size and speed. He currently has offers from Cornell, William & Mary, and New Hampshire. https://www.hudl.com/profile/16294645/Jackson-McCarter

Cooper Perry- Plays WR for Notre Dame Prep High School in Arizona. He had 72 receptions for 1,190 yards and 18 TD's. He has good size, speed, physicality. Very well rounded. He currently has offers from Arizona State, Oregon, Oklahoma, Washington, UCLA and more. https://www.hudl.com/profile/16095915/Cooper-Perry

Jase Nix- Plays WR for San Marcos High School in California. He had 57 receptions for 1,013 yards and 15 TD's. Ran a 10.84 100M as a 10th grader. Very quick and shifty. He currently has offers from Arizona, Toledo, Nevada and San Diego State. https://www.hudl.com/profile/16132793/Jase-Nix

Shane Walker- Plays WR for The Woodlands High School in Texas. I love this kid's tape because on his first play he burns the #1 rated corner in the country, who is committed to Ohio State for a 30 yard TD! Has good speed and run after the catch. He currently has offers from Arkansas State, Louisiana Tech, Tulsa, and a couple FCS Schools. https://www.hudl.com/profile/17481613/Shane-Walker

Thanks fo starting this thread. It’s an important one. As you stated this is where the caste system really kicks into high gear and begins the process of removing talented White athletes from progressing to the next level.

Dolphins15, great to see you back letting us know about these athletes. Seems to me that noticeably more of them are receiving offers than in the past. I recall one deserving White kid after another being profiled previously, followed by "has no offers." Do you think that's changing in a more positive direction than before?

Don, in the years I have been tracking recruiting I have not documented how many white kids received D1 scholarships, although that would probably be a good idea. My sense is that it is position based still. The RB position doesn't seemed to have changed much through the last few years. I can remember in 2016 we had Beau Bisharat, Cole Gest, Sean McGrew, Sam Brodner, Jake Funk, Cade Carney, I think that was all but they all signed to play RB at major FBS schools. I don't believe we have had that many since. But it does seem to me we have an uptick at the receiver position. Now it does seem they want to pigeon hole a lot of our guys at slot receivers. But it does feel like more are getting chances out of high school. I don't really track other positions to have a good grasp on them.

It’s very interesting, makes me wonder a bit if the traditional caste spots like wide receiver and running back might be cracking open a bit now that the nfl has gone all in on promotion of black quarterbacks (many of which aren’t likely to successful).

Incredibly telling that’s real athlete like Logan Anderson, with his size and production, is not thought of as another Derrick Henry-type. Clearly he has the tools and size to dominate and yet… crickets.

With his size and numbers, were he black his mailbox would be flooded with offers.

Yes! dolphins15. You should post more. Thank you for posting these high school athletes! You are a valuable asset to this site! What year is Mr. Logan Anderson? Junior, Senior? I hope he's a junior as it's a crime that he doesn't hold numerous D-1 offers! He reminds me a little of Clemson commit Sammy Brown. They are virtually the same size, and both played RB in HS, but Brown played LB as well and of course that's his racially appropriate position going forward. But there's no doubt Brown could be big time RB at Clemson. The only difference I see between Anderson and Brown is Brown broke out for long TD's runs and has big time speed. Does Anderson have that kind of speed as I didn't see him breaking any long runs? Maybe he does, but I missed it. If not, hopefully he's just a junior and will develop more speed and breakaway long TD's to cement his legitimacy in the eyes of D-1 coaches.
Thanks again for your efforts!

Carolina Speed, I'm not sure which video of Logans you were able to watch. It seems he does not have an updated Junior Highlight tape. He does have a midseason one. With his 2,864 yards he had 265 carries. So I am sure he had some long runs. But probably not as fast as Sammy Brown. Sammy is is a freak athlete in everything he does, so not really a knock on Logan.

Five more to watch.

Conor Booth- Plays RB for Bishop Neumann High School in Nebraska. He rushed for 2,159 yards and 35 TD's. Big kid listed at 6'1" 218. He has good burst for a big kid. He is currently committed to Nebraska for football and baseball. Hopefully he doesn't get moved to a caste appropriate position. https://www.hudl.com/profile/16054430/Conor-Booth

Colin Leahey- Plays RB for Magnolia High School in Texas. His situation is kind of unique as he wasn't the starting RB. He was 2nd strong to Utah Commit Hunter Andrews. But he has size and speed to play big time college football. He currently has offers from Air Force and Army. https://www.hudl.com/profile/16657130/Colin-Leahey

Marcus Mozer- Plays WR for Fossil Ridge High School in Colorado. Ran a 10.91 100M last year. Very smooth with good size. He currently has offers from Washington State, UTEP, Miami (OH), Navy, Air Force, North Dakota State. https://www.hudl.com/profile/16235563/Marcus-Mozer

Ty Olsen- Plays WR for Del Norte High School in California. He had 74 receptions for 1,262 yards and 16 TD's. Big and physical but with speed. He currently has offers from Washington State, Cal, Oregon State, Colorado State and San Jose State. https://www.hudl.com/profile/15865368/Ty-Olsen

Bryce Kania- Plays WR for the Hun School in New Jersey. Team mates with Liam Thorpe. He caught 12 TD's. Big and tall with good ball skills. He currently has offers from Duke, Boston College, Syracuse, Kent State, Temple, Buffalo, and James Madison. https://www.hudl.com/profile/15029694/Bryce-Kania

Already, I'm seeing so much prospects at this level compared to the NFL Combines, it's sad to see white talent fizzle out beyond this point

They still seem to not be getting amazing offers but I truly think it’s because scholarships are always going to favor non-whites. That’s true of both academic and athletic scholarships.

The shame of course is, without these scholarships, many white kids won’t bother at the college level because frankly high level college sports is a massive time commitment.

I think the racial slotting at the high school level hurts us a lot, but the lack of scholarship money is by far the easiest way to keep whites out of the NBA and NFL.

Of course, I say this based on what I’ve learned reading here and personal experience.

I have heard college coaches say they would love to offer some white kid, but if they brought them back to the head coach they would get laughed at and fired. I also kind of look at it like the NFL. The scholarship kids are like first round picks. They're gunna get every chance to play, because the coaches put their names on the kid. The walk-ons are like undrafted free agents. Some schools wouldn't even give them a chance even if they were better. Because it will look like they made a mistake with their scholarships.

I’m sure that assessment is right. Scholarships are the kids who get paid to play there, so if you are getting paid, you’re more likely to see work. Why would you play a kid who you didn’t even see fit to give a scholarship to? It’s very circular logic but it does help explain a lot.

Of course, it’s also an easy way for virtue signaling universities to add vibrancy and diversity to their campus. I maintain that first and foremost scholarships are for black kids, and unless that affirmative action program changes, there likely will be very little progress.

So of these 5 kids from solid programs with good numbers (and likely none of the social dysfunctions of diversity) none of them have been offered a power 5 conference scholarship?

I'm not sure how long you've been posting here dolphins15, but I have posted many times about my son who was an all state RB after his junior year where he rushed for over 3,000 yards on 250 carries. After going to top prospect camps at UNC-Chapel Hill, NC State, Duke, Wake Forest, East Carolina and Clemson he didn't receive one offer. Clemson was the closest as Swinney was very fair. He moved to the number 4 RB prospect after camp, but Dabo is notorious for waiting to offer.
I can tell you all kinds of stories we heard it all from his recruiting coaches saying they wouldn't recruit a white RB to you're too big, you're not big enough, your 40 time isn't fast enough. Another was when some of the recruiting coaches came to his HS to meet him, they were surprised that he was blonde and blue-eyed. One coach was even bold enough to say to his HS school coach after watching film," I thought he was black."
Anyway, it didn't work out as he suffered an ACL tear during the first game of his senior year and then tore it again the following spring rehabbing.
Fortunately, some 10 years later it looks as though white RB's are beginning break through. I hope so.

Thought I recognized the surname Fletcher. Turns out Carson Fletcher is the younger brother of Blake Fletcher. The eldest Fletcher played QB in HS, looks like he wound up at Air Force as an athlete.

Their father deserves a ton of credit in turning around that High School, Racine Horlick has never been a powerhouse. Seems like he’s got them humming now though!
